Great video Anthony :). Appreciate all the work that you put into this. This information is super valuable. Can’t wait for other limb comparison like the NS-G.
Too many "reviews" of archery equipment on UA-cam are just a sales guy from a retailer or manufacturer going on about how amazing their product is. This, however, is the real deal!
Thank you very much for the speed testing. Looking forward for more to compare with Hoyt and Wiawis! Keep on... 👏🎖
Man that’s a serious review! Keep it going!
Fantastic testing. This is how all archery equipment should be tested! MORE PLEASE!!!
I'm just curious why Kim Woojin switched back to Veracities after using Zests for about half a season... I'm sure he'll never say..
Great video, Anthony - thank you!
Can you make a video on the victory vxt vs Easton x10?
Btw, nice video.
That's on my list 🏹🎯
that sounds like a good video to watch .
It may also be helpful to number your arrows and shoot them in order so as to show at what point you start to fatigue, and the associated drop off.
Hi, thank you for your videos and all your work. I really appreciate how passionate you are about this :) I´d like to know how the draw weight of your zest measures compared to other limbs on the mk z. I read that mk limbs measure approximately 2 pounds more than marked, since they measure the draw weight at 26 inch instead of 28. Is this true in your experience ? especially in combination with the mk z riser ?
Nice work
Any chance you will repeat the test at 70m but use the shooting machine instead ?
Hi expert can I use a G10 material to build a Crossbow limb ?? Can't find a suitable material my country , thks expert..
Can you make a Video between Hoyt Velos and Mk Zest?
Hi, great review. May I ask. Does the draw weight equal out with wiawis or more like Hoyt? I guess I am asking what draw length they are measured at. Thank you
It's measured the same as wiawis
@@shoreshotarchery thank you
.33 lb between the zest and the v's but could have translate to the 3 fps downrange?
30:12 "So at least they gave us some numbers to work with."
No truer words are spoken. So much marketing fluff, but you're right, more companies need to be doing this.
I´m trying to find out what poundage zest limbs to buy for myself. I saw in your unboxing video that you own 44 pound, 70" zest limbs, right ? So given your arrow lenght and where your clicker is, your draw lenght would be around 31". Shouldn´t you get around 2 pounds more per inch over 28" ? At least that´s what I get on my limbs, but they are 20 years old, so perhaps that´s why... Perhaps you could share your tilller bolt settings, marked weight on the limbs and draw lenght ? I would greatly appreciate it :) Keep up the good work and happy shooting :)
Hello Baptiste, Korean made limbs are rated at 26 inches instead of 28 for american made limbs. www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4011169
If you use 36 pound Hoyt limbs then you need to get 34 pound Korean made limbs.
Great shooting!
@@antoniorivera1646 thanks for the reply Antonio ! That´s what I read too, but then how can 44 pound limbs with 31 inch dl weight only 48,99 pounds shouldn´t they be more like 51 pounds ?
@@baptistelenoir7551 Got it! The difference is the draw weight curve between small, medium and long limbs. For small, medium and long limbs draw curve is drastically different about a pound or so per inch after 26 inch draw the longer the limb the flatter the draw weight curve. I think long libs only get 1.25 pond per additional draw inch all the way of to 30 inches.
@@antoniorivera1646 I emailed mk, and they told me they measure 26 inch from the grip ! So this would be only slightly less than 28 inch dl. In my case (i want 45 pounds on the fingers with 30,5 dl), they recommended 40 pound, 70 inch. This would match with 44 at 31 dl measuring at 49, +/- one pound. They said it´s only a rough estimate thought .Only thing that´s strange, is that a lot of people on the forums I asked around seem to have experienced mk limbs beeing around 2 pounds heavier than marked...
Veracity Limbs are hard to beat super nice limbs smooth to draw and powerful at the same time. A more refine version of the Samick Master limbs.
Your testing hardware, do you have any interest in modifying it to have a “loose grip”?
There maybe a secondary attachment that lets me do that. I will look into it thank you😀
Shore Shot Archery there are a few vid on YT with a “falling wrist” set up. I think it was a Win Win or Beiter related video. I love to see what you come up with. I was thinking about building one for personal testing.
I think there are lot of new and intermediate archers who aren’t sure about the loose grip. Some think the falling bow in target archery is some form of peacocking or flair that people add to it for showmanship.
What machine is used in this video?
Coops Bowsmith Pro
@@shoreshotarchery I want it..
What is it use?
@@Madhurarchery I bought mine brand new spent a long time saving up for it
Use?
Testing 840 hoyt limbs
Bro you look like Miguel Alvarino Garcia😅
Thanks Anthony, for the science,,, now the biggie,, how do they feel?
They feel snappy, they react very quickly when you release
@@shoreshotarchery any difference in smoothness between them?
So you think i can drop from 44# (my VERACITY) to 40# and retain the same performance?
Would you like to test your uukha limbs the same ?
I would but I had to give them back
@@shoreshotarchery oh i hope you will get the Chance to do it in the Future again:( thank you for your videos:)
@@pwnNRGY I hope so to!
@@shoreshotarchery Hi there,
whats in your opinion are the best Vanes ?
Xs, spin, ksl5 or jet6, spider vanes?
And did you ever test the Flex Limbdampener ?
How about Performance lose from Limbdampener?
Greetings from Germany
@@pwnNRGY for years I shot soinwings but now I really like the K&K Jet6 SV Vanes. I will do a test on them at some point. I did not test the flex limb dampener. I was looking at other brands to test when I got the money. I will add them to the list. A proformance test with them would be cool. See if that added weight effects the speed of the arrow and the sight setting
and 1 Thing... why you dont use an APP for looking the group of 10arrows.. its easier to see, where is my middle of the group
Without your arrow weight, this speed test is pretty useless.
Actually, You are a bad Bowyer.
Well I don't "make or sell bows" so yes I am not a bowyer.
BS-you noticed 2 feet per second difference???
Yes, and it could also be that the Zest limbs are much more reactive (snappier) then the Veracity limbs
