Just got my s24 ultra but this Is good news; I've been curious to try the Fold model but the camera downgrade was the main thing holding me back. It will be cool to see how this model progresses within the next 2-3 years.
We pay more than ultra flagship prices for these foldables. I think we deserve these cameras even if they have to increase the price.
they should also put a 3x 50mp lens, it's time to upgrade the telephoto lens.
I will buy if this is the case. Two of the biggest things I've been waiting for.

Wider outerscreen means more squarish inner display. So in order to use a regular smartphone sized outer display while maintaining a tab sized inner display, tri-fold or slideables are the only solution
How about a mix. A one time fold that slides out oart of the front facing screen to he a part of the bigger screen

As much as I look forward to the z fold 6,I doubt if this major upgrade will happen. Just hope this new one will not have the same crease issue as the present ones.
It has to happen otherwise everyone will go to the OnePlus fold or Google pixel fold 2. I can guarantee Samsung will not keep the same exact design for 6 years in a row!

Triple folding tablet looks awesome… Hopefully it folds to pocket size and then opens up to not so large of a tablet
They should also take the zoom camera from s24 ultra and put it in the fold 6
This is the time where samsung makes a comeback with the fold 6 just like what they did back at 2021 with their z fold 3
All they have to do for the XR headset is just make a Samsung version of the Quest, that's it and they have an amazing product already.
It would be nice if they just went back to having a hole punch camera on the inner display of the fold since the under display one is so bad.

Many things are not "necessary". It'll likely be an option when they get the thickness down to a reasonable level
To be pedantic it’s really a double folding phone/tablet. It only folds twice but has 3 screen segments - Mind you that means 3 times the thickness and 2 times the potential extra failure points compared to a conventional tablet. For what?
My Zfold4 and Flip4 both failed hinges multiple times but with Samsung Care+ it wasn't expensive but a lot of hassles to go to fix, so I've decided to trade in my Zfold4 for S24 Ultra I'm happy as before I had S22 Ultra. I will never going back to Fold/Flip Samsung phones unless they make strong hinges to be last long, it was an expensive experience that the folding screen technology is long way to go, no thanks for me at least 3-4years from now on

Pretty much the only one fixated on cameras are creators. What everyone I talk to wants is longer battery life (to balance brighter displays) and for Samsung to make the phone have a normal geometry when folded (and thinner overall).
Im not a creator yet the single most important thing for me is the camera setup. I just like to take the best pictures and videos. I dont care if it has 35% or 10% battery left at the end of the day. My S24Ultra lasts me 2 full days, thats completely unnessesary, cause i will charge it every night anyways :D
If the Fold had S24Ultra Cameras, i would buy it.

They need to upgrade the whole camera package on the fold. As for the triple fold tablets, I won't get excited about a larger device until the rollable screens come out. I don't want a triple hinge. It's too bulky even with the new hinge design.
Still not convinced what they have done to their fold series. They need much improvement.

After 2 years of using fold 3. The speaker has an issue. Try to reboot and restart the device, still can not fix the issue. Will cost $200 to $400 if sending it in to have it fix. Best is stay away from and fold phone.
If all the rumors is true than Z fold 6 could be best foldable phone this year
If they add the camera from ultras that is the only way I'll make the jump, if it's the 50mp again I'm staying with my s23u

I would say that keeping the best sensor in the S24 and using the S22 Ultra's 108MP sensor for the fold will make a lot of sense. Because it will be a hardware improvement but not too overkill that it beats out the more camera centric phone.

My father had a fold 4 and had to replace it twice. The last time it broke he through a literal fit. There were no signs of damage. The outside screen didn’t even work. He took it to best but and they couldn’t figure it out. He had insurance and after he switched to a s23 ultra the fold started working but he told them to keep it because he needed a realize phone for work

My friend you will not regret it!💫 I did that since 2014, swapped my iPhone 6+ for the Samsung S7 edge and I've never looked back! I conti9to upgrade to Samsung's latest offerings year after year (for the most part) and I now have the z fold 4 and it's the best phone I ever had... Just be prepared for the outer screen to take some getting used to, but after a few days it seems normal 👍🏼

Samsung have silently removed the 24 month warranty on the Foldables. They now just come with a 12 month warranty in the UK
When did they do this??!! My wife's ZF4 inner screen protector bubbled up and as it was being examined at the Samsung store in the Trafford Centre the display died completely. This was after the 12 months free Samsung Care+ had run out and it was fixed for free...
A bigger outer display is more important than the 📷 upgrade. Also, the under display 📷 is horrible for this expensive 📱 even though I never use that 📷.

I will NEVER buy a samsung fold again!!! My fold 3 (never dropped) main screen got a black line down the middle one monthe after warrenty expired (70% use was done on front screen). They didn't give a sh_t!!!
