I moved away to a new town for a new job. I discovered NCIS. I’ve been watching episode after episode straight through on my TV which is running by internet when I come home from work. The series is so well crafted, the cast so amazing, and lovable I can’t get enough. ❤️Thank you for hours and hours of entertainment. And yes I do own a Gibbs Rules mug and a Hippopatamus like Abbies. (It’sfor my grandson).
NCIS works because of the great characters. Somehow they combine so well together, even in crossover episodes. Was heartbroken when Ziva was killed off, and somehow, Gibbs' heart just doesn't seem to be in his buffets, the way it was with DiNozo. Have become an LA fan, for the same reason the original works so well.
Its actually good! I thought it would suck and than i happened to catch a new episode while my daughter watch it and it plays out greatly! I watch it because of David McCallum. He'll likely retire, but I'll stitch watch. Liked "CSI", but when Ted Danson came on, I quit watching. I preferred Gary Sinise in "CSI:NY", but it was cancelled.
She was alive when she left the show.I guess they had to do what they did now for Tony to have a reason for leaving. The thing I don't get is in the papers, Kate left and Tony is leaving to spend more time with their respective families,yet Kate starred in another show shortly there after and I just saw a promo for a new show that Tony will be starring in.
There wasn't a real reason for Kate to depart on her own unlike Tony was able to! Ziva was killed off for Tonys part without him being killed off too only after they contacted her and she said she will never come back as a guest appearance in the future. If they can have them leave without killing them off than they do so! Like the head doctor played by Jamie Lee Curtis! Gibbs is always surrounded by great strong women and when they dies it hits him all over like when his wife died his daughter and his mother. It shows a great action that is seen in real life certain things happens to someone and it feels almost as your bad luck or make u feel hurt and tore up inside you can't protect certain love ones.
When I got my jaw broke in 2010 I was laid up in a hotel for a while and I watched this show for like 4 weeks straight back when USA used to run marathons literally 24/7. Good times
I could spend most of my days on USA, between SVU and NCIS, my 2 favorite shows. After a few years, you can frequently see "USA" "burned" into the tv in the lower corner.
I got a similar story. My dad broke his leg in early '13. Guess what show he got hooked on in his hospital room... NCIS. I think its because he likes Abby. By that Christmas we were getting him the DVD seasons. Although since USA and Cloo tend to play NCIS non-stop everyday, what would be the point of the DVD's now. I question now if the only way people get into this show is when they got little do and stuck with finding something to watch on TV.
Talking Vegetable I don't suffer from Mark Harmon, I've enjoyed him since '75 or '76 when he had a cameo on Emergency! for a spin-off show where he and his partner rescued animals. I don't remember the name of the show, it was short lived, but he was so cute. I've watched both tv and big screen movies Mark has done, I loved the show Chicago Hope but still can't get it on dvd.
NCIS literally saved my life. In 2010 I came down with a dreadful autoimmune disease. The physician told me at the time that I would not die from the disease only that I wished I were dead. (And I thought he was kidding!) For more than 3 years I was plagued 24/7 with excruciating pain. There were times that I would wake in the morning only to want to go back to sleep to alleviate the pain cycle. I found that this "NCIS" program seemed to be telecast almost all the hours that I was awake and alone. I bonded with the program immediately and basically had the will to survive to view "NCIS". I still watch the episodes (new or old) every time I get a chance. There are a few that I like more than others but I continue to watch as many as I am able.
It's going on 13 seasons, due to go on to 15. So much for "bad". Lasted longer than some shows I hated and others I liked. I think David McCallum deserves higher billing than last character seen at beginning. He's not only more talented than the others, but has alot more experience over the years than they have. Did they actually study the fields of their characters or just their lines? At the least, David knows what his character Ducky is talking about and he's also talented musically as well. Too many of you are too young to remember him in "The Man From UNCLE" series before the new movie was made. I think he deserves a star in Hollywood before he gets to be 85! Next time year, he and his wife will have been married 50 years. Not many actors today even make it that far! He also wrote a book as well.

She didn't say horribly mistreated? She just said she thought her character had been through all she could have gone through and it was time to move on.
Cote left because she felt her character was done and she wanted to move on, but being the person she is she decided to not tell anyone until a few weeks before production, so the writers had o re-write everything
they need to bring back cote depablo she makes the show and Anthony they're awesome I stopped watching it it when cote left what a shame I really loved that show
She chose to leave though. They didn't write her out. She gave them almost no warning, hence it not being well finished. I was SO sad when Michael Weatherly's exit didn't include us seeing her again. I legit cried alone in my room watching it online because no one in my house watches it but me.
I was glad to see the back of Ziva, she'd become a major mary sue. Plus don't ever expect to see her back in NCIS after the unprofessional way she left the show. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I'm surprised there were no mentions of the hateful tweets Pauley and some others of the cast tweeted about Cote and David's insults towards Cote and the passive aggressiveness of everyone but Michael and Brian about her departure. There was a big shift in NCIS and they must have changed writers & producers because the creativity stopped and the writing was not as funny. Then Cote left and there was no more chemistry on the show at all. Maybe she'll be on "Bull" with Michael, unless Harmon has anything to do with it. I useto like Harmon, but his EGO has ruined my admiration for him.
I noticed a shift too. I noticed it after Cote left and they introduced Bishop. My personal feelings aside on her ridiculous portrayal of her character (genius nsa person), the storylines took a dramatic turn into propaganda. During the time the NSA was in the pubic eye for domestic spying they were pushing pro NSA dialogue, discussed silk road like it was the end of western civilization and other such one-sided government propaganda. I even put those feelings aside and tried to stick with it but I just didn't enjoy it and stopped watching during season 11 despite still being a huge fan of the first 10 seasons.
The "Joining Forces" storyline was one of the worst in NCIS' history. The organization is great, but the story was whinging about how an attorney was "forced" to pass the bar again in her new state when her service member husband was transferred. So there was much hand-waving about making it easier for spouses of service members to waive into a state's bar so they could practice before they'd demonstrated a strong understanding of the new state's legal system. Using the First Family to drive sympathy for attorneys to poorly represent their clients by bypassing licensing requirements was an incredibly weak agenda and bad faith for an organization which has plenty of other great programs to support service members' families.
Ohhh, I didn't know there was a different bar for each state. I imagine it's due to the federal nature of the government. There are no such restrictions in my country.

I like NCIS because all the other dramas found a way to introduce "dark" programming. Like, it was always focused upon the "deaths" they were investigating. This one is focused upon the investigation and THAT is the true secret folks. I used to watch CSI but then they had blood and guts on it a lot and that lost me pretty quick. I don't watch a story to get grossed out folks. I want a story to follow, not nightmares!
NCIS LA has had me as a fan from the beginning. After the loss of a couple of the leading ladies from NCIS I have drifted away from it. Los Angeles is a bit more edgy and hip for me, being born and raised in the county of Los Angeles. Henrietta helps the cast too. Will Taylor Swift ever do a cameo in my life? Let's wait and see...
NCIS Los Angeles makes about a much sense as NCIS Topeka. New Orleans yeah because there are naval facilities there but LA, would have been better as NCIS San Diego.

I stopped watching NCIS when Gibbs stopped dating mystery redheads. Not like that was the catalyst for no longer watching, but about that time the stories became just too repetitive.

It has gone on for too long, they've been rotating story lines since season five, how many times can Gibbs be left for dead without actually dying? He's been shot, blown up, shot, bludgeoned, been in a coma, forgot who he was.... Various cast members have been shot, blown up, poisoned, infected, they are even repeating the storylines in the spin-offs. Kate is the only team member decent enough to be killed off, well, Jenny too, but she wasn't really part of the team. I don't consider myself to be a hater, I really did like it for a while but enough is enough.
I didn't know about Diane Neal tweet, probably explains why she wasn't picked to be in the shows as a main castmember when they were looking for replacements for Brody and that FBI person last season. Sad part, her Borin character was a fan favorite. Guessing she won't come back, pissing off Mark Harmon is a big mistake.
I have known of businesses that looked like heaven from the outside, but on the inside it was all hell. Things are never ever what they seem. If you go to your favorite store, if you enjoy every moment there as a customer, I guarantee you that behind the scenes it is not what it seems to be. Pay close attention to the employees...read the body language.
Networks... The ridiculous "Navy" in the 1st season title = treating viewers as idiots, forcing Bellisario to resign, NCIS: Los Angeles's unintended laughability, Cote's departure (snif!)... Bad things, recalled in a well-made video. Good job.
N.C.I.S. is my favorite show, watch it weekly and some days I watch the channel that plays the show all day. Mark Harmon is a FOX and love the others in the show as well. Pauley Perrette is a special person that I love as well. Keep the show on forever, it's a TRUE WINNER! Thanks CBS.
Sidenote: Because of all of the cameos NCIS is linked to a plethora of other CBS shows. Hawaii 5-0 for example is part of the same Universe because NCIS LA had a cameo or 2 in that show. Anyways I really like these videos Looper. Thank you for the great production.
sadly, you and everyone else knows there was MORE THAN THAT in the background. Look at the interviews she has given, the tweets she did, etc. Look at her body language as she speaks about it. Read her responses. "Gibbs" is a prick off-stage and that was prob one of the reasons.
I loved watching NCIS, been watching it since I was in 6th grade and now I´m in university so that´s a pretty long time to be committed to a tv show ... But lately, starting with the departure of Cote de Pablo things started going downhill. I got used to Emily Wickersham as a new character but the story arcs haven´t felt the same as before, NCIS Los Angeles has been a lot more interesting. And now that Michael Weatherly also left and his character will be replaced with a British dude, the entire group dynamic we as fans loved and therefore watched NCIS will be gone. I will tune in for the first couple episodes but not with the same amount of excitement as earlier seasons or when I watch NCIS Los Angeles. The Densi storyline among others, first making me skeptical turned out to be great, IMO they did a very good job. NCIS NOLA was alright, I watched the first season almost completely but didn´t have time then ... Idk if I´m continuing ...
The Original NCIS rules. Great cast, great directing, great acting, good story lines and awesome chemistry between the actors. The other two spin offs weren't that good. No chemistry.
I guess Perrette and De Pablo didn't get along with each other in real life. It's a good thing that the other two NCIS' didn't have an Abby of their own. Especially someone that dressed sorta similar to Abby because I'm afraid to find out how Perrette would've taken it if they did.

I heard from one source that the 18 hour day work schedule was too much for the principal actors to handle and Sasha was offered a role elsewhere. This prompted the Harmon showdown with Bellisario, which resulted in his removal. However, I also heard rumours which suggested personal problems with a producer and we can only guess what that might have been. I was disappointed when she left, but then grew to like Cote afterwards.
The Untold Truth is that Pauley Perrette is 50 fucking years old, and they have her dressing and acting like a teenager and saying shit like, "Man that's so rocking!" It's like your grandmother's perception of what a goth might be, based on that time in 1992 when she walked by a Hot Topic in the mall.
So like, in the world of NCIS, is 1/3 of the Navy/Marine Corps either murdered or in jail? And why do they investigate so many crimes that pretty much have nothing to do with the Navy? Don't they know there's real cops for that? Their job is to stage drug busts, track down AWOL sailors, make sure the squids aren't smuggling crazy shit, and provide local security threat assessments. If a sailor walks off post and gets involved in a crime, 99.9 times out of 100 the real cops are going to take care of it.
When the actress that plays a main character says that she wanted to be killed in a way so that she could not be brought back to life. She really really did not want to be in ncis again. Well, at that time anyway.
Sasha Alexander was hired to fill the roll of 'Maura Isles" the brainy pathologist on Rizzoli & Isles, which, by the way, is now in its final season. She starred opposite Angie Harmon, who left Law & Order.
I don't get why everyone is hating on Mark Harmon? He stood up as a representative for the crew when Bellisario was working them to death. And as for being involved with Cote or Michael's leaving? They both left for completely different reasons and there is nothing to suggest Mark had anything to do with it. The cast and crew always say how modest Harmon is and how he does so much for the show and will never admit it. Get a life!

Lot´s of people do remarks about the loss of Cote.de Pablo. My haeviest loss of an actor in the show had been Sasha Alexander. She fit perfect in the role of a government police agent. Ok, Cote had grown into that role as well but after a longer period. Most of the time she reminded me of a runaway teenager.
Well the death of Sasha Alexander's character in the show was no drama. She asked to leave to do other things and they killed her. The fact that she came back for the 200th episode means that there was no drama around her leaving.
Thats crazy about Bellusario since Agent Mcgee is his step son and the girl who plays agent mcgees sister is his real half sister in real life Bellusario's daughter! Smh
don't know about the guys but most female Disney channel child stars usually end up on drugs or in porn so I'm not optimistic there up to anything note worthy
Just one point: NCIS and CSI are initialisms, not acronyms. Acronyms create actual words (like SCUBA: Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus). If you just read out the letters ("CSI"), it's an initialism.

Cote De Pablo left because she and her family were threatened by middle Eastern people. As in her life and the lives of her family members were threatened because they didn’t like her playing an Israeli Woman. They didn’t like how she played a woman from Israel and the way she was “Americanized” ie. The way she dressed etc.

Leave a TV show on the wrong foot, or piss off the wrong person and your character can easily die so you have no way to come back.

There was a big shift in NCIS and they must have changed writers & producers because the creativity stopped and the writing was not as funny. Then Cote left and there was no more chemistry on the show at all. Maybe she'll be on "Bull" with Michael, unless Harmon has anything to do with it. I useto like Harmon, but his EGO has ruined my admiration for him.
I noticed a shift too. I noticed it after Cote left and they introduced Bishop. My personal feelings aside on her ridiculous portrayal of her character (genius nsa person), the storylines took a dramatic turn into propaganda. During the time the NSA was in the pubic eye for domestic spying they were pushing pro NSA dialogue, discussed silk road like it was the end of western civilization and other such one-sided government propaganda. I even put those feelings aside and tried to stick with it but I just didn't enjoy it and stopped watching during season 11 despite still being a huge fan of the first 10 seasons.

The "Joining Forces" storyline was one of the worst in NCIS' history. The organization is great, but the story was whinging about how an attorney was "forced" to pass the bar again in her new state when her service member husband was transferred. So there was much hand-waving about making it easier for spouses of service members to waive into a state's bar so they could practice before they'd demonstrated a strong understanding of the new state's legal system.
Using the First Family to drive sympathy for attorneys to poorly represent their clients by bypassing licensing requirements was an incredibly weak agenda and bad faith for an organization which has plenty of other great programs to support service members' families.
Ohhh, I didn't know there was a different bar for each state. I imagine it's due to the federal nature of the government. There are no such restrictions in my country.

I like NCIS because all the other dramas found a way to introduce "dark" programming. Like, it was always focused upon the "deaths" they were investigating. This one is focused upon the investigation and THAT is the true secret folks.
I used to watch CSI but then they had blood and guts on it a lot and that lost me pretty quick. I don't watch a story to get grossed out folks. I want a story to follow, not nightmares!

NCIS LA has had me as a fan from the beginning. After the loss of a couple of the leading ladies from NCIS I have drifted away from it. Los Angeles is a bit more edgy and hip for me, being born and raised in the county of Los Angeles. Henrietta helps the cast too. Will Taylor Swift ever do a cameo in my life? Let's wait and see...
NCIS Los Angeles makes about a much sense as NCIS Topeka. New Orleans yeah because there are naval facilities there but LA, would have been better as NCIS San Diego.

I stopped watching NCIS when Gibbs stopped dating mystery redheads. Not like that was the catalyst for no longer watching, but about that time the stories became just too repetitive.

It has gone on for too long, they've been rotating story lines since season five, how many times can Gibbs be left for dead without actually dying? He's been shot, blown up, shot, bludgeoned, been in a coma, forgot who he was.... Various cast members have been shot, blown up, poisoned, infected, they are even repeating the storylines in the spin-offs. Kate is the only team member decent enough to be killed off, well, Jenny too, but she wasn't really part of the team. I don't consider myself to be a hater, I really did like it for a while but enough is enough.

I didn't know about Diane Neal tweet, probably explains why she wasn't picked to be in the shows as a main castmember when they were looking for replacements for Brody and that FBI person last season. Sad part, her Borin character was a fan favorite. Guessing she won't come back, pissing off Mark Harmon is a big mistake.
I have known of businesses that looked like heaven from the outside, but on the inside it was all hell. Things are never ever what they seem. If you go to your favorite store, if you enjoy every moment there as a customer, I guarantee you that behind the scenes it is not what it seems to be. Pay close attention to the employees...read the body language.
Networks... The ridiculous "Navy" in the 1st season title = treating viewers as idiots, forcing Bellisario to resign, NCIS: Los Angeles's unintended laughability, Cote's departure (snif!)... Bad things, recalled in a well-made video. Good job.

N.C.I.S. is my favorite show, watch it weekly and some days I watch the channel that plays the show all day. Mark Harmon is a FOX and love the others in the show as well. Pauley Perrette is a special person that I love as well. Keep the show on forever, it's a TRUE WINNER! Thanks CBS.

Sidenote: Because of all of the cameos NCIS is linked to a plethora of other CBS shows. Hawaii 5-0 for example is part of the same Universe because NCIS LA had a cameo or 2 in that show.

sadly, you and everyone else knows there was MORE THAN THAT in the background. Look at the interviews she has given, the tweets she did, etc. Look at her body language as she speaks about it. Read her responses. "Gibbs" is a prick off-stage and that was prob one of the reasons.
I loved watching NCIS, been watching it since I was in 6th grade and now I´m in university so that´s a pretty long time to be committed to a tv show ... But lately, starting with the departure of Cote de Pablo things started going downhill. I got used to Emily Wickersham as a new character but the story arcs haven´t felt the same as before, NCIS Los Angeles has been a lot more interesting. And now that Michael Weatherly also left and his character will be replaced with a British dude, the entire group dynamic we as fans loved and therefore watched NCIS will be gone. I will tune in for the first couple episodes but not with the same amount of excitement as earlier seasons or when I watch NCIS Los Angeles. The Densi storyline among others, first making me skeptical turned out to be great, IMO they did a very good job.
NCIS NOLA was alright, I watched the first season almost completely but didn´t have time then ... Idk if I´m continuing ...

The Original NCIS rules. Great cast, great directing, great acting, good story lines and awesome chemistry between the actors. The other two spin offs weren't that good. No chemistry.

I guess Perrette and De Pablo didn't get along with each other in real life. It's a good thing that the other two NCIS' didn't have an Abby of their own. Especially someone that dressed sorta similar to Abby because I'm afraid to find out how Perrette would've taken it if they did.

I heard from one source that the 18 hour day work schedule was too much for the principal actors to handle and Sasha was offered a role elsewhere. This prompted the Harmon showdown with Bellisario, which resulted in his removal.
However, I also heard rumours which suggested personal problems with a producer and we can only guess what that might have been. I was disappointed when she left, but then grew to like Cote afterwards.
The Untold Truth is that Pauley Perrette is 50 fucking years old, and they have her dressing and acting like a teenager and saying shit like, "Man that's so rocking!" It's like your grandmother's perception of what a goth might be, based on that time in 1992 when she walked by a Hot Topic in the mall.
What about Kate who was before Zeva? We loved her but have not seen her anywhere since.

So like, in the world of NCIS, is 1/3 of the Navy/Marine Corps either murdered or in jail? And why do they investigate so many crimes that pretty much have nothing to do with the Navy? Don't they know there's real cops for that? Their job is to stage drug busts, track down AWOL sailors, make sure the squids aren't smuggling crazy shit, and provide local security threat assessments. If a sailor walks off post and gets involved in a crime, 99.9 times out of 100 the real cops are going to take care of it.

When the actress that plays a main character says that she wanted to be killed in a way so that she could not be brought back to life. She really really did not want to be in ncis again. Well, at that time anyway.
She wanted to spend more time with family apparently. Show producers wanted to make it as spectacular as possible.
Michael Weatherly didn't even know it was going to happen until they put the blood on her head
Sasha Alexander was hired to fill the roll of 'Maura Isles" the brainy pathologist on Rizzoli & Isles, which, by the way, is now in its final season. She starred opposite Angie Harmon, who left Law & Order.

I don't get why everyone is hating on Mark Harmon? He stood up as a representative for the crew when Bellisario was working them to death. And as for being involved with Cote or Michael's leaving? They both left for completely different reasons and there is nothing to suggest Mark had anything to do with it. The cast and crew always say how modest Harmon is and how he does so much for the show and will never admit it. Get a life!

NIce, but you didn´t put 2 of the main dramas of the show: The dramas over the salary of Cote de Pablo and the sudden death of Sasha Alexander in the show.
Lot´s of people do remarks about the loss of Cote.de Pablo. My haeviest loss of an actor in the show had been Sasha Alexander. She fit perfect in the role of a government police agent. Ok, Cote had grown into that role as well but after a longer period. Most of the time she reminded me of a runaway teenager.
Yes, that was hard to swollow. I think she took lots of marks observing David McCallum as Ducky for her role as Dr. Isles in RIZZOLI AND ISLES.
Well the death of Sasha Alexander's character in the show was no drama. She asked to leave to do other things and they killed her. The fact that she came back for the 200th episode means that there was no drama around her leaving.
She never came back to 200th episode it was all CGI.
If you notice, more women cast memebers have left the show than men. I heard the reason is they don’t treat women well or fairly on the show

Just one point: NCIS and CSI are initialisms, not acronyms. Acronyms create actual words (like SCUBA: Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus). If you just read out the letters ("CSI"), it's an initialism.

I only watch a few episode after ziva left . I hated that she left the show the show went down hill after that. The cast was perfect chemistry and ever character was amazing when she was on. And I'm not a big fan of knight she so boring.
My mother in law called it NCSI till the day she died. Sometimes she would realize and correct herself, we quit trying to correct her early on.

Cote De Pablo left because she and her family were threatened by middle Eastern people. As in her life and the lives of her family members were threatened because they didn’t like her playing an Israeli Woman. They didn’t like how she played a woman from Israel and the way she was “Americanized” ie. The way she dressed etc.
