This video is getting some attention - looks like working in a toxic workplace is hitting home with so many of you!
I based this video on REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE - I've been though it, my husband has been through it, and so many of my clients have been through it!
If this resonates with you, and you're in or have been in a toxic work environment, what stood out for you?

What stood out was that bad leadership almost always has poor communication skills. Very true. Some employees have too much work and others have too little. Because no one really knows what they’re truly responsible for, high achievers will do the most and then leave because it is unsustainable. (High turnover)
When managers and senior leaders speak negatively; feeds into a culture of gossip where that negativity thrives and becomes the norm. Brings down morale.
Stifled growth is a big one, no one wants to feel burnt out and not even see growth come from it, simply because they’re just trying to keep their head above water.
Managers who lay off staff, strain their team who are now short staffed, go on to blame and critique the laid off staff, without making positive changes.
Poor leaders speak negatively about those who were let go (passing blame, rather than take accountability).

@@WabiSabi3331 you are ABSOLUTELY correct. Stifled growth and more work for some but not the ones who kiss up.
Also, EVERY last thing Tiffany said is my current situation and unbeknownst to the fake team, I am resigning in less than 30 days. I deserve so much better!

Great content, thank you.. I was just left with one doubt..will the suggestion to look for better options not feel like you are thinking that grass is greener on the other side?

That's one way to think about it - and I think it is a risk we all take by moving to another job. One question to ask yourself is this: why stay in a toxic environment and suffer the stress of that? AND...should you choose to walk away - what can you learn from the current situation that can help you avoid walking into another toxic workplace?
