Just makes me so sad no original members , But still love the music , Molly hatchet no original members see them 6 times , Blackfoot , Marshall Tucker band , Charlie Daniels , Seen a lot of these bands on tour together , We all get old
If someone told you that you would EVEN HEAR THESE SONGS live anymore, you would shit and say I'm going to that concert. HT and Billy would rather have their music played and appreciated than buried in the ground with them.
SOUTHERN Rock Ruled back in the late 70 s . alot of those bands kept the name but went mainstream ,38 special , comes to mind . but Molly H. kicked ass back then not sure what they did after Flirtin , but the were hot back then . as were the Outlaws , Skynyrd , C Daniels , Allmans ,zz top ,wet willie , Marshall tucker , plus . . .. then mid 80 s New country struck n southern rock got pushed aside by the dollar ,but ask any one from Skynyrd or Tucker , it never died .
So the 'real' Outlaws fans don't want to hear their music ever played live again? Well fuck, that's a bit odd. Music is meant to be heard and rock music is meant to be played loud. If a band is using The Outlaws name but has no original members yet is giving people the chance to hear the music that should be celebrated not condemned. All the tribute bands like ReGenesis, The Australian Pink Floyd, The Bootleg Beatles and all the other bands that try and play the music faithfully are keeping the music alive. Good luck to them and long may the tribute bands continue.
@@andrewsparr9287 What? I love the music. I also love that the music can still be heard live, as it should be. "Hate"? Are you on crack? Get back on your meds you muppett.
Pretty good, but this is not the Outlaws. Wish you could have seen them, but you weren't even born yet. The power was incredible. I saw them in 1975. They opened for, I think, the Doobie Brothers, and blew everyone out of the building (Capital Centre, Largo Maryland). The Doobies, who were great themselves, came out to a crowd lacking oxygen.
Hello I am from Argentina. I would have really liked to be able to enjoy the original lineup but you were only able to see them in 2017 with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since then the band has continually changed its members. Gone are Chris Anderson and Steve Grisham, whom I enjoyed in my first meeting with them. I rescue the songs, I am a devotee of southern rock and it will always be a pleasure for me to see and listen to the musicians who characterize this style. Thank you for your comment and greetings from Buenos Aires
Henry Paul is performing here and now the lead singer. The drummer is YoHo. With the others no longer alive it’s appropriate that Henry Paul carry the name Outlaws. They are playing the songs correctly as possible to the original sound, it hasn’t been tarnished. I’m going to go see the current lineup soon. I’m just glad Southern Rock is still being performed.
When Hughie passed that, out of respect, should've been the end of the Outlaws. These guys are NOT the Outlaws. BTW, saw them back in the 90's along with Marshall Tucker at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center). Amazing show...
To be fair, I was shocked at the amount of past members on Wickapedia, but I'm not bothered, the new album is suberb, some great songs, & I've seen many bands live including Journey, Foreigner, Styx etc , People still want to see them if they still bring it live
The audio on this is pretty horrible but the band does themselves no favors either. A third rate tribute band at best. Take it from someone who saw The Outlaws in their prime in the late 1970s. What you see here in no way resembles the unique voice or guitar wizardry of Hughie Thomasson (RIP) who was the heart and soul of The Outlaws. Henry Paul, singing here, was briefly part of that band, but a very low ranking member of that famous "guitar army."
Not The Outlaws. Not even close. My southern rock band in 1980 did The Outlaws better than these bozos. We played dual leads on Green Grass and High Tides and played the finish with both of us guitar players playing over and behind our heads.
This is no longer the Outlaws!! Henry Paul has destroyed it! With his annoying, yeng yanging voice, off key! Ladies and Gentlemen, you now have the new Black Hawk band! R.I.P. Hughie and Billy !!! The only thing that kept the band alive after Hughie's passing was Chris Anderson and Henry screwed that up! Just what they needed, a rhythm guitarist that cant sing!
Well opinions vary...Saw them last Sunday at Darryl's House...they ROCKED! Be catching them again in Ponte Vedra in couple weeks (my 13th Outlaws show dating back to 1977). This awesome music is alive and well...and this Old Tampa Bay Boy is loving it!
I was lucky enough to see the original band six times , The good old days, ✌️
Agree....these guys are trying but sound like my HS band covering this.
i bet u dont have any journey t shirts .
Henry Paul was a founding member.
Saw them at least a dozen times in the late 70's and early 80's...
All the guitars make the sound incredible!
Saw the Outlaws live in concert way back in 1978. I was Junior in High School. The Outlaws opened for Emerson Lake and Palmer.
Saw ELP with Journey. Wheel in the sky was their only hit.
You got the better deal.
Hi Sonny. The Outlaws and ELP !!!! Tremendous show ... It is not usual to see this quality of musicians today
They also blew away their audience! Thanks ELP ;-)

Hello William. It is true ... we are getting old but we are fortunate to have enjoyed great musicians. And don't forget Lynyrd Skynyrd !!! Greetings
Monte Yoho and Henry Paul are original members- However, Henry Paul is pathetic singing Hughie's songs.

Excellent🎸🎶
I got live footage in 4k 60FPS at the 2022 Outlaw Legacy Tour in Clearwater FL. Hurry Sundown, Green Grass and High Tides and Grey Ghost all there
I saw the Outlaws headlining over Molly Hatchet back in 80..their has been nothing close to that line up..Billy and Hughie were awesome!!

The Outlaws had many members, so it is impossible for you to say one lineup or another is the Outlaws. Cry a shit-ton more.
Nothing but a cover band

Sorry...this crew failed because they don't sound like Hughie...they sound like garage.
