Whats the counter to helis? Spaa? Because it will take time until i research the roland 2 and even then apparently ka50 have a missile range of 10 km while roland 2 has only 8.5 km. Planes? Getting a top tier plane will take sometime yet again. Besides dont you think that having to grind to top tier a plane just to counter a heli is a bit too much?

I hate this heli. Gaijins amazing match making puts my 9.0 kpz tanks against ka-50s. It's just ridiculous! I played one match where this guy with the ka-50 got 13 kills because nobody on my team got into a plane and went after him.

Agreed, not fair, helis still have to many advantages against ground vehicles, i don't know how many times I score a perfect missile hit against a heli just to see he flying back to base and repair
Just for clarification, as I'm sure many have not seen their way to the end of the video, I am not endorsing this helicopter and its gameplay, it is blatantly overpowered and is what is wrong with the power creep in War Thunder.
Understand that as a "Reviewer" I do my best to remain positive in every single one of my videos, regardless of its OP status, which is very much the case here.
I feel like if they removed the ability for it to lock on to tanks and not have to actually guide them, it would balance them a little. Not much but it’s something.
SPAAs with Ground to air missile are just a joke now. Their missiles lose track at long range but the helis don't? Look at 9:50, you just need to press a lock button and boom, the AA couldn't get the heli with 2 missiles.
and also the fact that heli missiles travel faster than SAMS. so even if you fire first as a SPAA you still dont get the advantage
Just look at that lineup in the beginning of the video...it’s terrifying 😂 it’s no wonder why they never lose!! They can basically come back in the same vehicle 5 times over (as long as they get kills) and then spawn in an overpowered ass helicopter, a jet, an SPAA, and don’t forget that damn khrizantema lol

Man those matches are terrifying in my little T-62. But now the Russians have beefy arsenal, and also Gaijin bring back the mm to RB, it's pretty clear Soviets are a bit overperforming now. Today I had a blast playing SB with multiple winning streaks against NATO

I just spawned in ...I don't see any heli players going I won't target the enemy spawn. Ah the joy of ok I've just spawned in I need to go to ... pawned by a heli. To be fair ground vehicles do it as well but at least you can have a hope of engaging them in your brief moment of grace. This is why mid to low tier are where the fun is people who play top tier and play it well have my respect.

Grab a fucking plane or SPAA, if he is too far away get a Roland 3 and hope someone else hops in a plane. This game is situational and sucks sometimes
The thing that most pilots struggle with is trying to kill and SPAA. For example if you send a vikhir and they send a Sam the Sam is a lot faster but pilots try to get the kill but die which is why you need to be patient. Same thing in heli EC. If they fire first (depends what missile) you should try and evade

How is this not utterly fcckkkin broken? ATGMs that never miss any tank they can see? That actually seem to be better at killing aircraft than any AAM or SAM!?
It’s one thing for tanks to have thermal sights and powerful guns. They’re at the mercy of LOS created by terrain and every other form of obstruction. Not to mention needing to actually aim. It’s altogether different when you can see the entire battlefield (aided by gunner mode zoom 4 or 5 times better than any other type of vehicle) while using the mental skills of a kindergartner to point and click attack from well outside the range of any retaliation.
Shame on you Gaijin. As if top tier gameplay wasn’t already obnoxious enough.
you trust a machine to accurately predict human behavior in a life or death scenario? it makes sense that a man-guided missile would be more effective than an automated SAM
also attack helicopters are specifically designed to ruin not only any tanks day but any ground vehicle or really any soft targets day

Exactly! This is such a bs game killer. From a tank perspective, we can't touch it, or do anything, can't even drive around. Just hide behind a building if it's there and hope a teammate might have a jet or something to kill it, if we don't have one ourselves. It's really frustrating when you're just trying to enjoy ground battle. I know it's reality but at some point it takes away the fun of the game. If Russia spawns in this but our team mates spawn all ground and maybe a spaa then it sucks. Guess they're forcing us into air vehicles to spend more money on grinding or premiums.

The problem, or at least the cause of many problems, eg Gaijins lazyness, is in my opinion that War Thunder is one of its kind. Gaijin doesn´t have any competition against any other game developer bcs as i said there is no alternetive to War Thunder. Gaijin doesn´t have that much pressure bcs everybody will come back to War Thunder after long or short terms, or even play through War Thunders very rough times. Gaijin is also using it´s playerbase to buy more and more stuff, bcs we want to continue playing War Thunder (more or less), but they kinda force us to buy their stuff by makin extrem shitty economy etc. I am sure that currently, the priority of Gaijin is money. They wanna get as much money as possible and they can do whatever they want. I wish, like probably everyone else that Gaijin rethinks their priority(-s), bcs they made such a great game, and they are destroyin it by making everythink expensive af (60€ for one single tank). I would love if they would do like a complete overhaul with Economy, BR (De-) compression, the grind and also the graphics (yes the graphics, bcs often the houses look like smb through spongeboob against it, and trees etc, smth i would also love to see is more realistic dust clouds behind ur tank if u r drivin off road, and better smoke, and not those big cum cloudy balls) There is so much more to say, but i would rlly love to see such overhaul, and tbh idc if its like 100gb or smth which would take me like 50hrs, if the game is more enjoyable afterwards. I would also love to see more maps and a better map cycle (today i played first time on map "Fulda" and i am playin WT since +500hrs).

Fun and rewarding gameplay....
This shows the gap of “fun” in top tier and it’s not very fun to get missiled miles away by a heli having fun lobbing missiles miles away
top tier is not for you... its all long range for the most part. Its not uncommon to make 1.5-2km shots with APFSDS or ATGM's. I've shot plenty of these KA-52's down with my Roland 1 or even with the main gun on my Radwagon 90 if they are foolish enough to hover in view.

Are you getting these Pings when the AA has it's radar just on, or are you getting the warning when they are tagging and aiming at you ?
you get a ping when youre detected by (allied or enemy) radar, and you get a long whine when radar(enemy or allied) locks onto you
So with the Kpz-70 moving to 9.3 (with no thermal), how do you think it will perform?
Will it likely be sucked up to 9.7 and 10.0 most of the time? And at that BR (.9.3-10.3), the only jet you could bring that has any air-to-air capabilities is the CL-13B Mk.6. Not much of a competitive loadout it would seem.
I used to really enjoy taking out the Kpz-70 and the G.91 R/3 with AS-20 Nord ATGM's but looks like that will come to an end.
It still handles fairly well in the higher tier gameplay, fights well against MBTs at 10.3, however accuracy is a crucial skill to have at that tier as the APFSDS performs terribly in that area.
I only ever use it as a backup to my 2k, after I've lost my 2a4, and 2a5.
It’s good that its going up. It’s too strong for 9.0. Also the G.91 R/3 works good even at 10.3 so you’re fine
I use the MBT at top tier (my wingmate plays the Vickers and Chally and i refuse to use the Abrams) and i do fine. Cant quite pen the Leos from the front but still.
XM-1 is better in every regard and is 9.3 its completly trash without thermals

@@kevinguo3127 i grinded most helis a long time ago in Heli EC, but now they are filled with Ka-50, Ka-52 and premium apaches. You cant frind them quickly, it costs blood, sweat and tears to get the 390.000 RP required for 1 single heli. I would not start to grind them if you only have begibner helos
I dont even understand how to control and fly helicopter + i hate rb cheater mode ground force, so i never ever will Touch them.
( i tryed in test flight arcade Modus the First German helicopter and i never understood the controls and either crashed instantly or couldnt hold the heli still for firing rockets)

the sheepcreep production no, the hellfires are not op. You have to lock to hit with them or they will always miss. Also they lose tracking almost every time you launch them. A leaf flying in the wind will make you lose tracking and if a tank moves you will also miss. Tbh, i’d much rather have TOWs than Hellfires.

SPAA cant do anything if heli is played well and in a way to not die. Easy to deal with bad heli players, but if they are good... well, better spawn in plane or heli of your own to take it down, because from ground... you have 0 chance to do it.

And this thing is more than 3 times cheaper to repair all the while having much higher sl multiplier. This thing has both air and ground radar. Vikhr missile kills jets helis tanks everything and 4 iglas and auto leading 30mm cannon with AA belt and 10 dum rockets of doom. Thermals with absurd zoom.

I don't see how an overpowered vehicle makes another one not op. Helicopters are clearly absurd in this game, but it doesn't change the fact that the 122 is easily the best tank at 10.3

Owning both the ka50 and ah64 the ka is better in heli battles while the apache is better in ground rb.
Technically KA-50 is way better in Tank RB just because of its range

No one shoots with 10km. it only makes sense against the Germans. The best premium helicopter is the Tiger HAP because it can shoot from behind mountains and trees.

Save your pocket money if you get any and just get the ka-50. It is the best pre Kim helicopter in game by a lot and in helicopter EC you can grind a lot of kills with proximity fuse

@@dragoonTT If you can have rockets then it is alright. Fly at the edges of the map below 15 meters and flank the enemy. Then rocket enemy bases and hidden groundtargets. Flying below 15 meters is a must because then enemy Ka-50's have really hard time to lock on you.

@@BPA_Jon now only assult ground battle is only playable, others like rb and heli battle are cancer and suffering. Rb have missile and radar spaa or jet fighter or heli, thermal vision tank.
The only time u can kill those thing is only when they are overconfident to move away from their spawn or the battle map is flat and less cover.

Of course they can, some have ka 50 or usa AH paten heli. Or they already grind before those 2 pernium are available or before thermal vision function is here.
Before thermal vision is available, i can still a least send some missiles or rocket before being shot down. Now, spawn and fly near the battle field and in low altitude of course, only to be detected, like a blob of meat on their thermal vision screen
