Do you want to be hated by the whole enemy team? Get the Ka-52 (or Tigre UHT). These helis not only remove mbts but also their will to fight.

Penetration values for Vichr are wrong. Vichr has 1.200mm RHA penetration. Gaijin just copy-pasted the Ataka penetration value.

Calling air to air radar not very useful in ground RB is a major blunder in my opinion. Especially when heli in question comes with such a massive amount of anti air weapons.
Yeah, I agree. A good Ka-52 player can basically make sure that there is no enemy aircraft over the battlefield, all thanks to its radar+Vikhr.

Your info about Ka-52 origins is fals in more than a one point. Ka-50 wasn't able to conducts air-ground support due to need of a another chopper to light up the targets (chopper in question was abbandoned due to budget cuts), so they developped Ka-50-2 : basicaly another Ka-50 but two seated with autonomous air-ground fire conduct possibility, no need for another chopper to lightup the targets. And than Ka-50-2 became just Ka-52.
That being said. Manouverability of Aligator isn't an issue if you use her right and not hover over battlefield like a dump fuck. BTW reducing exhaust heat is pointless cos 99/100 times other choppers will use laser guided or guide by wire missles on you
Type 93 is a very bad AA, but even dumping flares I just about always hit Ka50/52.

Some vehicules that in real life are or were decent, are sucking in this game, like almost all french techtree. Like Leclerc S2, considered as one of the best tanks is easily one shot by t-64 or t-80 in the turrent 🤣🤣🤣 when leclerc needs few shorts to kill it, it's just ridiculous. Or on you Ec665 HAD, you can put 8 hellfires but without Mistrals, which again is just stupid. Geyjean is selective and had had never kept anything close to real performances, didn't even try, but put all in their own preferences and likings

I love how people complain about the Su-7BMK being boring but I laugh here with 20k rp average from a battle. (The performance is a bit worse with the addition of J35A and A-5C but otherwise its really good)

Hei @@kazakstansaatana can you give some tips when using su-7 series i kinda shit when dogfight with afterburner jet because my low end laptop should i start bombing base or killing some ground target after that go back to airfield?
@@soto1649 Yes! The main tactic I use is, to take max bomb load, airspawn, fly towards their base and with the first bomb run you should drop all of the bombs. Then turn back and refill. At this moment in the battle your team is usually dead but still focus on bombing. Drop 3 bombs (three taps on spacebar) on the already damaged base and the rest on a full HP base. Now you can do two things. 1. Turn back to airfield and refill bombs. 2. Go and seek out enemy planes to kill. If you go and try to kill enemies, try to intercept them. Dont turn until you are a bit further away from them. (The Su-7s can turn pretty well) You can boom & zoom them if you want or trying to make them lose speed by going vertical. You should watch some youtube vids that talk about the plane and join some War Thunder discord servers to discuss this further. Good luck! (btw turning with the J35A is a bad idea)
it’s good for RP and pretty good for ground battles but absolutely not a dog fighter. I bought the mig-21s instead and if you’re good at dogfighting you can get much more than 20k rp per match (much less boring than bombing too)

i love how i alway get shot down in my f4f by a ka 52 that can track me going like mach 1.10 and the ka 52 is like lol you dead
What game mode is in the background as when I try to play the wave defense (on console) I just get ruined from miles away and never get close enough to actually strafe
I did grind it and in my opinoin it wasnt worth it... I lost basically all my motivation to play wt and needed over 150 hours in the ka50 to get it, it drained all life from me and i barely touch war thunder because of it. If ur that desperate Just buy the Ka50 or get the new apache with squadron points
imagine having to grind the AH-64D
@@HarrieZ i would concider the Russian heli tree harder to grind because the shitty starter helis, the US starter helis are much smaller, more maneuverable and honestly better in my opinoin, without premium you cannon grind out the Russian heli tech tree
@@unclezlatin1495 It's harder if you grinded from the start with out the KA-50, but as you said, you grinded with KA-50, that's 150 hours you said? It's nothing in comparison to what I went through to get the AH-64D (grinded using tech tree until unlock the AH-1F, then buy AH-64A Peten to grind out the rest), more or lest I start grinding when I got my first tier 5 tank and now I have all US air tech tree done, with only 4 or 5 tanks left in the ground tree when I got the AH-64D. Still MI-4 suffers

Personally I loved playing ka-50 as well as mi-28n after, as I didn't go for Ka-52 first. But when I did get it I spammed heck out of it. Whole tree took me less than 100 hours.

ka52 >> mi28n now that the s13s are nerfed. The only other advantage is that the mi28 gets 16 sthurms vs 12 vikhirs, but tbh the ka52 has a better overall loadout.

The only advantage of the KA-50 is the premium status.
But It Is extremely more situational as It has less zoom, no thermals, big Ivans and can carry less ordinance

Could you review AH-1S Anime chopper?
He probably won't if it's not for sale right now, but I can tell you:
1. It's fun, has flares and TOW-2s and thermals.
2. It's not competitive.
3. I've ground the first tech tree AH-1S and I don't know I can grind two more.
4. The easiest way to grind outside heli EC (where you have to fight Ka-50s and stuff) is to bring literally nothing but the Type 93 AA and the AH-1S Kisarazu. Scout and maybe shoot stuff down with Type 93, you'll have the SP in no time. AH-1S it up at 9.7, kill people. Slowly glide in, get one or two TWO kills, and pull off for another run. Rinse, repeat until death. If you can, CAPTURE POINTS, it's very lucrative in a chopper.

I disagree with your assessment that the KA series are flying boats. They are by far the most agile, but they do not fly like you expect a helicopter to fly. If you expect them to respond to a flick of the mouse, the won't; you need to roll, pitch, yaw, and pull out all the stops to get them to move, but they do move and a lot faster than the single-rotar helos because they have twice the power. Granted, I've been exclusively playing US and Russian helicopters since I started playing WT, so I will admit that it takes a lot of work to make any helicopter do what you need it to do when u need it to do it.
As far as which is better between this and the Apache, the Apache is better if you are absolutely certain that there aren't any KA52s or KA50s because those are the only things the Apache has to defense against. It does react faster to jets than the KA52 due to its conventional layout, chin mounted turret, and 360 radar, but it can only kill jets as a defensive measure, and it's good at it, but u will inevitably slip up. I think the KA52's ability to proactively ATTACK jets is a touch more valuable. The Apache is the better tank-killer by miles because it is easier to huge the terrain. Yes, the KA52 can terrain mask, too, but it cannot do that while keeping its designator on target. The Apache is just better and finding and killing tanks in every possible way, but...the ground targets are rarely what will take out a hell with 9km missiles. It's helicopters and jets that will do you in and the KA52 is better against those.
yeah, looking at him fly I could tell he doesn't have a lot of experience using top tier helis, especially the Ka series, because he would't drop his collective to make turning easier.
Also he was wrong about the HRISS and MAW bring mutually exclusive. you get the HRISS with the MAW
How is it easer to terrain mask and fire hellfires when you still have to retain a laser lock on the tank? You cant dip below to avoid missiles or else you lose your lock.

Since heli in warthunder almost always have to operate in heavily contested airspace, the russian choppers fare much better.

I don't agree on your "AGM-114K is the best anti-tank missile" argument. Yes AGM-114K has a shit ton of penetration, but that's pretty much it, at least in WT. Hellfire is stupidly slow, doesn't track very well on moving targets, can't accurately hit crew and components, and is completely useless when enemy is between foliages.
IMO, the best in-game anti-tank missile carried by choppers is either Vikhr on Ka-52 (fast, accurate, can guide multiple missiles at once, deadly against aircraft) or PARS-LR3 on TigerUHT (fire-and -forget, that's already enough).
The main strength of the Vikhr missile is its ability to cheese. It enables Ka-50 and Ka-52 players to take dangerous positions that would kill all other helicopters. The Vikhr missile also does extremely poorly if engaging a MBT from the front. It can't pen that armor and doesn't go top down like the hellfire. It may take 5 missiles to kill one tank in such a scenario.
It was pretty darn good before direct hit update, which again broke it (still currently broken). When used to its fullest you can fire off 2 or 3 and get muti kills, but unfortunately the tracking is too busted for that to work well rn. It would also be far better against aircraft and heli if it had its historical direct attack mode

How do you even research it? Heli EC is hell. Ground assault has barely any players..
Being the toxic player who spams Ground tank RB with a KA50, that's how they do it. if you don't buy the KA50 you will suffer through the whole grind.
play only city map in EC and with booster, after the mi24a its all easy
Actually ground assault queue time is not longer than 1 minute most of the time. Unfortunately because of airfield AAA buff and MG rotation buff the AI machine gunner is now super deadly especially if you only have rockets.

Is it worth grinding on the KA50 for years? I don't think so. It will destroy your enjoyment for the game. It's better to just GE your way to it so u don't hate the game by the time u get it.

I agree. Heli tech tree is just designed for GEing to the top by Gaijin, and the tedious grinding is just not an option for ordinary players.

It's worth it 500% as long as you're not a brainless twat hovering 10km above the battlefield within literally every SAM's effective firing range.
Super bonus is when you're playing in a squad with friends. That new "marking target" mechanic for squad members essentially gives you spotting from 13km out with thermals to be used for your squad. Once they clean up the SPAA, you swoop in with your Vikhirs and Vodka Nukes and clean up the rest. EZPZ.

Can someone help me choose between, the Xm1 and the leopard A1A1. I’m rank 5 in the Germany tech tree, and rank 2 in the American tech tree. I want to buy the leopard to grind out the rest of the German tech tree, but I don’t wanna buy it then lose to the Americans and regret buying it.
Don’t buy a premium until you have a lineup for it. Don’t become a one death leaver because that ruins that br.

@@deadtrollz1980 xm 1 for sure trust me 10.3 is hell for it while 10.0 is alright you will face thing that will kill you a lot but your a sniper with the l44 gun in the leo while the xm1 is only good in flanking and 10.3 flanking with a xm1 is too hard
