Ever since I got a trellis for my wall, my plants have grown ten fold and the leaves are actually maturing (even with them running out of light at the top). Get a trellis for the yard from a home improvement store and cut it to size, much cheaper that way, seriously one of the best decisions I've made with my plant room.
This video encouraged me to get the exact white trellis and a small white table from Tuesday morning. I arranged six plants in two rows on the table and attached them to the trellis. I love it! I can’t wait to see them do their thing! It’s in my bedroom and is the first beautiful view I see when I wake up.
Been using pallet boards instead of moss poles and all I can say is that there’s no comparison. The bare wood works about 100 times better and you don’t have to keep it wet for the aerials to attach. They do it pretty much on their own. I only wish I had sealed the part of the board that is in the pot but I should have a couple years before they rot out anyways. Highly highly recommend, significantly cheaper (free for me) and more effective than sphagnum
This is probably in the top 10 of my favorite YT videos! I've been contemplating what the h*ll to do with my vigorously growing climbing airoids and THIS video just gave me inspiration and I can't wait to get started!!! Thank you, Nick!
Hi Nick! I always loved the look of the trellis in your old apartment, but it looks fabulous in your new one, too. I love all of the plants that you have growing up both of the trellises. I like the idea of you adding another white trellis in that corner. Wrap around plant wall/trellis would look amazing! If I had a wall to put a trellis on I'd love to have one. Thank you so much for sharing!
Omg I'm so glad you made this video! Ever since your philodendron tour I have been obsessed with your trellis. I can't wait to plagiarize your plant decor style
I just got a Silver Sword Philodendron and it’s growing so crazy that I’ve been considering a trellis. I’m still fairly new to plants and I’ve only worked with moss poles so far. Thank you for this!
I just got one yesterday! It's the narrow leaf form but I hope it grows fast too. I watched this video specifically for ideas on giving it something to climb.
My version of overgrowing my room with houseplants is a giant wood framed mirror that now has 5 different vining plants growing up and around it. It's a bit less unique, but just as hard to move house with.
Sheeeeeeesh, your white trellis with the Red Emerald is SUCH goals 😍😍 I just love it. Absolutely gonna look for that brown one at IKEA now though, trellissing onto a wall like these is absolutely my next major climbing plant project (once I figure out if I’m moving or not lol)
My dragon plant has grown to the ceiling, across, and is coming back down. I was considering getting it a trellis for the ceiling but not found anything about ceiling trellises as yet. This is the closest I've found. Very interesting, and thinking of trying this too.
I need to get a trellis ASAP! MY squamiferum, camposportoanum, BMF and frosted heart syngonium will be very thankful when I do. I could even attach a piece of my Cebu😮 Lowe's here I come...
I would love a video of you propagating your syngonium chiapense. Mine is going to need a chopping soon but I'm nervous to cut it. I know syngonium are normally pretty easy to propagate but every plant it different :) Love the look of your trellises..this video definitely kick up some ideas for my own home. Thanks
We decided to grow our basic heartleaf up a trellis and it a beautiful; massive leaves way bigger than anything I’ve seen in a hanging basket. We’ve already needed a repot once and it was a two person job and a hot mess. I feel like it would be easier with single stem plants though. Corralling all the vibes back in without breaking one was the hard part.
Definitely requires two sets of hands, at least haha. When I had the Rhaph on the trellis, there were two separate plants that I wanted to pot together in the same planter. I had a friend hold the base of the plants for me (the root ball) while I removed them & grabbed a new planter and all that.
It’s so cool to see how your trellis plants are doing and what you’ve done at your new place. They look amazing and happy! Can I ask where you got the bookshelf behind you at the 0:02 mark? It’s right up my alley! I have a vittsjo shelf and love it but that one has way more character!
Nick, When you finish with the cit,y Tiny is the way for you on a piece of well chosen land in your birth state of Pennsylvania. You Sir, will not regret it but love that choice immensely. Have a blessed 7th Day. Jesus loves you!
How do you deal with spraying the plants down when they're on a trellis? I like to give my big houseplants a shower every month or so. I was wondering how I could spray the leaves when they're trellised like this for watering/pest prevention purposes.
I don’t spray these but I wipe the leaves for dust every so often. I use systemic granules for pest prevention or will also release beneficial insects to take care of the pests so I can be a little more hands off since it’s not the easiest to deal with when they’re all growing together and adhered
Hi Nick. I was wondering on your window next to the first trellis, how are the hanging plants attached? It looks like a pole of some sort. I found your channel about 5-6 weeks ago and went from having 2 Hoyas (no ID, over 20 years old) to almost 20 and have gotten into peperomias. You are amazing.
I have been considering what to do up there but ultimately I’ve left it empty because the air vent blows directly above the shelves and the hvac here is AGGRESSIVE to say the least
Hi Nick, thank you for your videos, i love all 💚🍃🌿🌱i have a question...🤔do you think ,that your plants in your new home, likes it better to life, for huminity ore sun...thanks wishes from germany
Soooooo I love how happy your plants look on the trellis but am I the only one who finds them (trellises) quite ugly to put up on the wall? I wish there were nicer looking trellises that don't look like they're meant to go outside.

Nick's "Super Intentional Shelf." Cute!

I am an admirer of your trellis ever since your tetra was growing on it. I love the whole look💚I enjoyed this video.

The red emerald is definitely an unsung beauty. It's not fussy at all.
The world IS your oyster! Love the plant styling in your home. I’ve always wondered how you did the trellises. So glad you made this video. Thanks!!

I prefer the white trellis - it blends in with the wall so the plants become more prominent rather than the trellis itself
Have a beautiful day PLANT DADDY!!!

“I don’t got no store” Well you should lol love your channel 🥰

It sounds exquisite! 🌿
Trellis aka toddler gate... I knew my son's toddler gate (protective) would come in handy🙂

That Syngonium is spectacular 😳
Your vibe is amazing
Your plants look amazing!!!💚💚💚
Now I know how to redecorate my house lol I LOVE this.

Good ideas, I have a Trellis , after watching I decided to use it for hanging plant, thanks for sharing💚💚💚💯💯💯
Another great video. I'm now considering getting the same trellis for my over grown Philodendron pedatum.
love love love your channel...thank you
Weird I just got the notification for this video. Hell yeah dude! You definitely inspired me to do something similar
Happy weekend Nick! Thanks

Another great video video Nick. Your plants are stunning!
Love the trellis look!
Plant goals! I added the trellis to my Amazon cart. Thanks for great content Nick!
Chiapense is my first syngonium because I love your trellis so much!! Can't wait to see how mine grows!!
Thumbtacks, string and geometry can make a trellis that is cheap as can be and best of all, is almost invisible-really shows off the plants.
Hi Nick. Love the set up. What kind of light are those trellis getting? What direction do your windows face?

Hello friend. I love your out of the box approach when creating content🧡💜💚 OneLove 💕
Looking stunning. But my question is if you want to repot how you will do that. Please make a video about that.you have wonderful collections.

That $30 trellis is for outdoor spaces too. That's a pretty good deal these days.
I love your set up! I wish my cats would leave my plants alone but they don’t so I have to be creative haha

Thank you! 😊 I will be doing a video soon about how I have the plants hanging 😉
Thank you so much. I moved and I need ideas as I have more windows to hang plants.
It looks like you could put another white trellis above your plant shelves in your bedroom going the other way. I think it would look so good.
I have been considering what to do up there but ultimately I’ve left it empty because the air vent blows directly above the shelves and the hvac here is AGGRESSIVE to say the least
I love your trellis' they are very stylish.
Love your videos!
How do you clean the plants that are attached with out getting the walls and trellis dirty
Your mysterious plant at time 10:18 looks like my Philodendron augustilobum.
Good video I'm going to buy me a trellis thank you Nick
Hi Nick, thank you for your videos, i love all 💚🍃🌿🌱i have a question...🤔do you think ,that your plants in your new home, likes it better to life, for huminity ore sun...thanks wishes from germany
I noticed how close ur plants r to each other. How is ur bug problems. Great collection btw
When you have your plants climbing on a trellis do you mist the roots or just water them normally
I just water them normally - I wouldn’t want to get the wall wet with misting
Question: How do you water the ones attached to them trellis without getting the excess on the floor? Lol
Carefully! Haha, each planter has trays underneath to catch the water so I just have to be sure to not water too much to not overflow
Looks awesome nick. I’m in the midst of internally debating whether to copy you. Nick…. Have you copyrighted your trellis design?
Hahaha please copy it! That’s why I wanted to share this info 😊
💚
Hi again Nick! Hope u have a great day.
I broght a syngonium. Sorry for vad spelling.
Love this! Wondering if/how you repot plants on the trellis?
Soooooo I love how happy your plants look on the trellis but am I the only one who finds them (trellises) quite ugly to put up on the wall? I wish there were nicer looking trellises that don't look like they're meant to go outside.
