The fastest wizard in dark and darker is back and better than ever. This wizard build is full speed with decent damage as well. No one can catch us, as we fly around the ruins solo.

For people wondering why I don't run haste. The move speed is capped at 350. I am at 331 with the book in my hand. Haste would normally get me to 370 move speed without the cap. Invis already makes me move at 348 (2 off the cap), so its better to just bring a 4th damage spell.

@@BaxeliNo but the movement speed cap creates a similar problem as well. Now a barb can hit the cap and for example if im a rogue I can never be faster than him. The class that is supposed to be slow and hard hitting, can be the exact same speed as the class that is supposed to be fast and hit not as hard. On the contrary rogues hit hard too. So its all a mess rn anyways.
@@jordanmullins3551 yeah exactly at the moment rogues are hitting faster and only have a little less dmg than barbs while barbs who are supposed to be slow and heavy hitting are usually around the same speed

Crystal Sword tech might be useful in a Crystal Sword Melee Warlock build with +additional magic dmg. May actually have some decent pvp usage.

We cant sleep on how GOATED the interaction speed with all of that agi is either. Opening/closing doors, etc. Is sometimes more important than raw move speed.
I think movespeed will always be the strongest stay in this game

I'm sure it was primarily nerves, but @ 2:58, you drank a blue clarity and then followed it up with a white clarity almost instantly before you could get the full effects from the blue one.
Don’t different color clarifies stack?
@@SantaClausMC Not anymore, got nerfed a few weeks back. Also, clarity can't stack because the buff is the exact same between pots, it's just the length of the buff that is effected by rarity. So using a blue then a white will immediately overwrite the blue.
I've always wondered this, is drinking 2 health pots back to back useless because the effects don't stack?
@@cagxplays9602 you can see the potion buff at the bottom, when you drink a second it just maxes the timer again instead of adding a second potion buff, so yea it just replaces it

When fighting a phantomized Warlock as a Wizard, remember you can still hit them with AoE spells like fireball. They also have 50% reduced magic reduction, so it'll hit harder than you think

Man that Warlock must have been thinking he had THE worst luck in the world having run into this Wizard build.
He could normally outrun anything he couldn't outfight, but not this day!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can and should cast spells at Warlocks when they phantomize, like at 32:11, even more so, their magic resistance is reduced so it's even better
It's only splash damage spells. So fireball into the ground and the splash would be what would damage them.
Can you make a video that talks a little about how you econ and how you acquire gear to build kits like this? The main thing I want to learn is how I can use that information to make other builds as wwell
One of the best Warlock builds is to stack move speed (it's what I use personally) so it's probably what the guy was using at 27:00 to be able to outrun you
I also got into a 6 man battle in that spot the other day with a buddy and it was so much fun. love that spot on ruins when everyone fights there.
That same bug is a big part of Vermintide 2,. Its a tech called shield-cancel, that allows you to spam your first chain attack over and over without comboing. Spell-cancel, brought to you by Red lol

The crystal sword tech probably felt random because you were trying to use invis when cancelling and you have arcane mastery so the cast actually completes before you can swing.

Maybe ice bolt is best in slot as the last spell. Has the in built slow after all and still does dps at range. Love your vids man
You need to do this with a rondel dagger and ignite weapon
Unfortunately crystal ball gives a hefty move speed penalty, so it'd be doable, but definitely notably slower

Small pro tip - use top left hotspot for potions. That way you can quickly equip any potion you need at the moment by just righr clicking it
i did this in PT3. the MOST fun build in the game even to this day Its almost my go to and you can make it for a relatively cheap price.
help me understand how slow isnt just the worst spell to run with this build
it further increases the kiting ability

My man you should run 10 spell if you're at 40 knowledge anyway. You've got the crystal sword for PvE, you can still burn a few spells on more annoying mobs... you're running clarities too, just pack a campfire or two as well. Your shtick is being able to kite infinitely - having access to ice bolt and lightning strike (both of which slow) synergizes well with long fights anyway. Plus light orb to mitigate the rogue weakness. Just my $0.02!
I legit had this speed on my rogue and some random wizard still outran me without haste. Sometimes this game boggles me

Guys, i need a solid opinion from those who play DnD moslty solo. Is it even worth it to buy DnD for solo players? Is it "playable"/fun?
it is. i play solo and i 1v3 all the time. it’ll be a bit harder for you to pickup the game bc others have been playing longer, but if yoy put the effort in, you can definitely be really good as a solo. @bradquackson is an example. bros pretty nuts in crypts

i did a rouge a week ago with max agi i got up to 37 with a bunch of additional move speed and a max cap agi rouge is so busted

you might not know that, but +1% move speed bonus actually gives you 5 move speed, and 0.5% bonus gives you 2 move speed, if you don't believe me get an item and test it, it's true, you can be even faster
He can get faster by 4 Points, but the MS cap should be at 350
Maxing out any Stat To The Limit is Fun.
Even that they Included a Max Speed Cap it is still Fast and Effective. You could have 3 Team Mates what just Scout around the Map for High Quality Enemys and all move in at the Same time Imagine 4 Max Speed People..
yo you should rock a magic power add damage %move speed build for max bower and speed id love to see what it looks like

Same as any other spell but you must stay still while firing. Also if you using a stuff/crystal sword missiles can be canceled by them colliding with object/enemy

ice bolt slows people down and infinite range, zap is hitscan, ice bolt is better with little damage gear and zap with high damage gear

I love how you only ever seem to come across people with white and green gear with terrible mods while you're running blue and purple with the best possible mods so no matter how badly you play it you just can't get killed. Killing players who basically can't fight back is really great content

Having a hard time understanding why you would take 5 spell / med with 3/5 spells that come back so fast without it. You 100% should have died in that first fight but apparently those guys suck just as much as you
You’re good at wiz and all but not good at managing spells you could squeeze in so many more meditations and even campfire for quick spells instead of chugging clarity’s, great video though!
Build aside you play like a bad-ass. With matching gear you'd beat me 10 out of 10 fights hahaha
