Hi Oliver! About you question, I prefer windows seat 🙂What surprises me about your videos (I've seen them all), you never repeat a meal. Everything looks delicious! I'm happy to see people around my age (I'm 43) who enjoy food just like I do. Not everyone gives it importance, and for me it is one of the pleasures of life. Although Tokyo is more stressful than Okinawa, returning home and seeing your plants, your books, your friends... everything has its good things ☺ Thanks for the video. I prefer aisle, because I can easily fall asleep, so I let people know that they can wake me up as many times as they want, it will not bother me at all ☺️
But I hate bothering people, so I feel more at ease when I need to go to the toilet

Food prices are very high here in Australia as well. The problem is the quality of everything is extremely low compared to the prices you pay. Im so jealous when I see you going into a restaurant and eating high quality delicious foods and being able to buy delicious ready made bento boxes at the supermarket all for affordable prices . Here in Australia that's impossible. I ate a bowl of ramen last week, I also added to the ramen extra topping of chashu and menma, I paid 30 AUD for it, was okay, nothing extra special. I went yesterday to my local supermarket Woolworths, they were selling Japanese style rice bowls which was small bowl of rice with little bit of chicken meat on top and 1 small piece of broccoli and 1 small piece of cauliflower and 3 slice of carrot for 11 AUD. It was the most saddest and depressing looking rice bowl I saw in my life. I asked myself, why cant we have better quality foods and product in this country ? When I watch your videos , I always feel I want to leave this place. I think you a very very lucky to be able to live the life you live in Japan!
The high cost of living in Australia is well known in Japan. It is sad because it makes it difficult to travel.

Hi Oliver! On short flights I prefer the window because I don't get up. On long flights I prefer the aisle so if I get up I don't bother anyone and I feel I can get up as much as I want. But I also don't like to rush off the plane, which is a problem when I'm sitting in an aisle seat because the people next to me always want to get up and get going, so I have to get up to let them out. Taking my time ensures I don't forget anything. Thanks for another beautiful video. I always feel at peace in my space after watching your videos. You inspire me to appreciate the little things. ❤

Hi Oliver! For your plants there are self watering bulbs or globes … they come in all shapes, sizes and colors. I have glass ones. Before you leave your home, be sure your plants are well watered, fill up the self watering bulbs and place them in the soil. They work great for me! Here there are so many choices online!

L'endroit où nous vivons est important pour la santé mentale. Our son, DIL and three granddaughters just returned to the US after spending a few weeks visiting their Okinawan grandparents after 4 years living in the states. Our DIL is (as she says) Okinawan and all three granddaughters were born in Okinawa 🏝️
It's a wonderful experience to trace our own roots.

It's the same here in England, food prices have increased, and that's even basic food items. I think it's the same all over the world at the moment.
I eat a vegan diet (have been vegan about 25 years) was vegetarian before that since I was about 15) I try to incorporate organic foods into my diet when I can. I think it's beneficial for the body overall and that it has a positive impact on health, especially health in middle age.

Health is important, but staying healthy sucks sometimes!hehe😅 This year, I have to cut my usual 4 cups of coffee to 1 cup daily because my stomach doesnt like it anymore. I also used to drink a lot of Lemondou every weekend, but my stomach started to ache so I have to make drastic changes which are not fun at all😂! 41 😂😅

Food prices are high here in USA too, Oliver. I see your prices and S. Korea food prices and they are lower and then some food is comparable. I wish to live in one of the countries for the slow life
