The best thing about your content is how informative it is. Some oif these settings I have used for years, but others are new. I will definitely have to check thesen out. Thank you.
Omg, that inventory toggle is about to change my life. Seven years … seven years and never knew I could change that. I hated it every day that the inventory closes with the legacy bank. I almost started crying when you showed this!
When targeting an enemy, you can shift+scroll to cycle between enemies! I don't think it's a setting that I had to turn on, but I just came back after a few years break when I found this out, so I could be wrong there.
Great video. Played this game once last year and only made it to level 10. Wanted to play it again and really go all the way. Thanks for the great tips and information.
Yeah, these are all definitely very helpful :D Another one I always like to set is binding the "auto run" key. At least, if I remember correctly, its unbound by default. Either way, it makes getting around the more open planets a bit easier as you dont have to hold a key down for the longer stretches.
For me it’s automatically bound to num lock. Since not every computer has that key, it may seem unbound. For some reason it also connects to mouse5 i think. Which isn’t even on every mouse or computer. I usually leave it cause my computer I use has that.
@@firstnamelastname9237 Ah yes, that was it, mouse 5. For the longest time I had a mouse that just had the two standard buttons and a wheel that was also a button. So I bound mine to the mouse wheel button.
This video is amazing dude! Some of these I didn't even know existed because I was too lazy to find them lol! For real though, good stuff man! Keep up the good work :)
My Playstyle is something I like to call a shield healer. It's a healer that can heal others but focuses a lot on moves that mitigate damage for their allies and themselves more so than just pure healing so their healing output is lower than other healers because they have more defensive options like shields and bubbles/barriers and stuff that mitigate damage for your allies. Like Scholar or Sage from FFXIV or Displicine Priest from WoW is there anything in Swtor that fits or is close to that?
OK, of utmost importance is.....what outfit is that character wearing? Where does one find that? Im talking about the T'wlik (spelling) in the beginning of the video.
did you manage to turn off the "welcome" bar? If so how did you get rid of it? (I am talking about this little stupid bar that has kind of like advertisements on it for cartel market. I see this is 3 weeks old, and the thing I am talking about was introduced a year or two ago. You could move it around with out going into interface, but you couldn't hide it through that. Hope You know what I am talking about.)
Nope, all I can do is minimize it every week when it resets with the Tuesday reset. I use an ultrawide monitor so it's off screen in 90% of my video recordings (along with the chat window)
Take off Nameplate for self, Take Off Name plate for companions, turn off Aligment gain on conversations, that is What I disagree, but The rest I agree
I couldn't imagine taking off my own nameplate as I much prefer seeing my health above my head vs looking at the other health bar, but I do turn off nameplates on companions
@@Draemn that was The First thing I do when started lol Prefer kind of an immersion, and I dont like seeing a Giant Nameplate on my Character Head In some games I even turn off Nameplate on any NPC or Enemy But not in this game thou
@@Draemn Wow. Never expected anyone will actually reply to criticism. More power to you. Very Intro mainly tbh. I would suggest Leave the music, drop your logo full screen until the music fades a bit and only then start talking to the mic. Also it really feels like you are rushing the vid a lot and you dont have uniform delivery, which you can sort out with some written script and slowing down just a little bit. Other than that content wise great vid and keep up the good work why don't ya?!
The debuff highlights is an absolute must have , only anoying thing is you cant REMOVE other players debuffs entirely. I cant believe before 3.0 you could not see your own debuffs from other players, it made dot specs impossible to play properly..
Omg buff highlight I didn't even now was there and I was always guessing which dot was mine. I've been playing for years and years and never knew about this, thank you so much ❤
One more thing about chat. U can create ur own chat tab and set as u wish. I have guild and group chat independet so i dont miss any message. About user interface. U should add "target of target" option. This is very useful in most situations.
Really enjoying your channel Draemn! Can you post a link to imgur with a screenshot of your Twi'lek sorcerer character sliders, and your outfit items? Thanks!
Nice! Very helpful :) I tried Swtor when the game came out, but Wow won over Swtor for me. I wanted to give swtor a second chance now in desember and now im having so much fun! everytime im online i think WHY HAVENT I PLAYED THIS BEFOR :p . And most people are very nice! And not rude elitest who dont wanna help new players. Because that was very common in Wow,
Started my SWTOR journey 3 days ago, I’m level 60 and I wanna subscribe, this video was extremely helpful, my first mmo ever, its called mmo right? Or rpg?
Great video. For some reason when playing the game my camera is insanely fast when rotating it. The slider is all the way down and my mouse dpi is low. Any fix you guys know of thanks
you could rotate with your keyboard, but that rotates the character and the camera together. I find in general the mouse is pretty sensitive for moving the camera and if I play a FPS game for a bit I lose my muscle memory to make small movements with the mouse. It's just something you learn to work with or really turn down your mouse senstivity for this game
This is late, but the game has aggressive mouse acceleration that can't be turned off without an OS level workaround. That's whays causing you to feel like it's so sensitive.
Great video. I was aware of most of these settings, but there were 1 or 2 that I was not as familiar with. I'm not actively playing right this moment, but my friends and I will be getting back in next month for the release of Legacy of the Sith expansion. We'll be making new characters so we can enjoy and appreciate all of the changes that come with new characters. If you have any videos that showcase these changes, to include how or what we can pick when it comes to choosing story lines and classes, that would be great. Did they change the skills much? Stuff like that would be awesome! :)
If you are new to the game, dont change allignment, let you see through the story and your Alts soul. Then next time you can min max to get the additional titles :). Most important for me is the flytext, a thing i HATE in games.
Here is an odd question. I am so used the voices of the male Sith, Juggie and Assassin, that I can't play the jedi knight as it sounds to girlie for me. Is there a way to change that? Is the voice tied to the race (which I dont think) or the class/profession? I want to play with a friend who likes tyranny and autocracy so he wants to play rebels. Unfortunately, i think the female voices sound better than the males, on the rebel side.....or republic, if you will.
The best thing about your content is how informative it is. Some oif these settings I have used for years, but others are new. I will definitely have to check thesen out. Thank you.
I've played for many years but barely touched settings so a few of these are interesting thank you
Omg, that inventory toggle is about to change my life. Seven years … seven years and never knew I could change that. I hated it every day that the inventory closes with the legacy bank. I almost started crying when you showed this!
I'm not sure if I should be very happy for you finding the setting or very sad for you having to suffer for so long.
Glad you commented that cause now I have to watch this video.
Actually thats in for eternity and I had it off for some months than found out that ist most often more of a hindrance, so i changed back.
Great breakdown of these 'advanced' settings that everyone should know about. I appreciate your Inquisitor using Jorgan btw, very funny to see
Big thanks friend. I have recently returned to the game and totally forgot how to change stuff and there you have it. Appreciate it !
This is great. I knew a couple of these and use them religiously, but others...I'm going in to change them. Thanks!
It's the small things that make life easier! thank you so much for this vid!!!

thanks for the guide
okay, for the first one? you cant look slightly to the left??

What is this outfit though man holy moli
For all SWTORs flaws, the UI customization was always good.

Interesting and informative vid. However, background sound (music) significantly interferes with the reception (comfortable listening to your speech).
Yeah, I tried experimenting in different videos with background noise levels and music. Sometimes it was a miss on my part

wonderfull info! thx the auto-targe is really helpful only its dangerous on ranged toons... i almost make kill my G on a FP because tht =P
It's very dangerous on my sentard too... I used to leap to stuff by mistake
Nothing new here, but that's ok. I've been playing since 2013. I've played with the settings menu more than I needed to.
Whats a nightmare is you have to do these settings for each character
Some settings yes. Just depends on which settings are per character vs account wide.
