@@BurnerAccount101-ui4et that sometimes does if user is not auto logged in in windows when u turn on pc, even if u didnt login in and still on lock screen it login automatically so that when putting pin/pass it immediately login to the desktop, however if the user isnt early logged in then u would see the white effect, i am not entirely sure abt this as i use windows in a vm cuz i use linux on my host (sry for my bad english lol)
@@debarkak It might auto login in the background when the account's password locked. That effect is visible if the account has no password and the login screen goes straight to logging in. Or when you sign out and then log in
I've consistently had problems with this. I ended up just installing Gnome shell and tweaks, went to gnome, switched the theme there, went back to KDE and uninstalled gnome. It sounds insane but it works. Most likely the problem is that there's missing config files and Dconf and KDE's own system settings want nothing to do with that.

also one thing i like in this build of windows whister is that the taskbar fades in when u login which is nice but then never brought back
Never brought back is wrong, latest Windows 11 has a fade animation on taskbar after logging in
