Just make sure that the seller from whom you buy has got good reviews. What is the TDS level in your water supply? Depending on that you can choose between different types of water filters.

Don't buy the aquaguard products they are cheating the customers I bought the purifier with in 7 months The water taste not good I raised a complaint, they told change the filters cost around 4000/- even within the warranty period and they insist to buy amc they the fillter cost is rs.3000/- I don't know the logic even it is in warranty period why I buy the amc for the current period worst customer relationship, they are looting the customers money
Don't get filters replaced so frequently, technicians will obviously suggest frequent servicing and sell AMC because that's how a company makes money. I get filters replaced every 5 years because water supply in my area is good but it totally depends on your water quality and other factors.

That's what exactly what I talked about in the video regarding quality of service, which is dependent on local area service center affiliated with the brand. Fortunately my area service quality is good, it is just the technian that differs in his expertise.

I have a question - the service guy mentioned that I need to add an external pressure valve to my purifier to increase the inlet pressure as the water pressure is less.. Honestly I was not convince by his suggestion. Plus he was charging over 3000 for pressure valve.. Could you please suggest/advice what can be done as I kept my installation on hold Note - my old local water purifier was working fine with same pressure. The main water tank is about 8 feet high from my purifier
If older water purifier was working fine, this one will too because RO versions of this model have built in booster pump. Tell service guy to install it as it is, in case any issues arise you can always call them later to install additional accessories.
My Aquaguard sure RO is not working since more than 20 days. It is purchased In may 2023, even after daily reminding company it is not repaired till today.

Nowadays almost all water filters will have some sensors built-in to detect end of life of water filters and this model might have that too. I cannot clarify whether this particular model has it or not as specifications are subject to change from time to time, but more importantly every RO filter can be reset once it triggers and shows red light so it is not much of an issue, however the technique to reset it is provided in the Eureka Forbes service manual for the product which is not easily available for consumers.

When you drain chlorinated water from the tank while cleaning, tap gets sanitized along with. I haven't tested alkaline water filter cartridge RO yet so can't comment on it.

Yep, it will he enough. Just the pressure sensor needs to get activated by water pressure, rest of the purification is done by booster pump inside the RO.

No, it is not unfiltered, water used for blending has been purified by sediment, taste enhancer and UV filter, it is just the RO membrane that is bypassed, so it is not a scam in any manner.

UF version does not have TDS adjuster built-in, but this RO version shown in the video has that functionality. Just get the TDS adjuster installed and avoid installing extra accessories which can always be installed later on.

400 TDS is higher than normal, so if you use a water filter without RO, it won't decrease TDS at all. Besides, you can use this model bypassing RO mode with its inbuilt TDS adjuster. However you can buy this model which does not have RO functionality: amzn.to/3RFVngd

For TDS less than 500 govt. is going to ban RO. For less than 500, uv+uf is enough, should have sediment filter also. Plus carbon filter which removes odours.. even mineral water bottle have TDS of 120-150, you can check any mineral water bottle. And himalayan mineral water bottle have TDS around 250. So it's just not TDS, don't fall marketing gimmick, Google more..

Hello sir. Very informative video😊 I bought the UV+RO+UF model. The installation guy called and told I have to buy separate pressure valve as I am living in 4th floor and it is a 23 floor building. He is asking 4k for that and he also told to install a separate iron filter costing 2k. Is all these necessary?
He is right because in high rise buildings, pressure regulator valve is necessary to prevent damage to water filter due to excessive water pressure. However iron filter is not necessary so you can skip that. Regarding amounts he is quoting, I would say 4k is excessive because PRV is available for under 1k (for example: amzn.to/3NxhBhf). Try to bargain by showing this to him, maybe then he'll give a more affordable quotation for you.
after purchasing this model with ro + uv i didn't knew some models doesn't come with tds controller and when installation person came checked there was no adjuster and when service guy checked my tap water tds level was 150 so they told me it cant be returned but we can install additional tds adjuster should i go for it will it give the same result

Hello I am a new user of RO. Wanted to know if i need to keep the tank full every day does it mean i end up wasting the water from the blue pipe every day?
No, you can fill the RO as per your needs, no need to keep it full but since it is a 6 liter tank, ideally it should be kept full so that you have enough water storage for the day. Water given out by the blue pipe can be used to water the plants or wash dishes, but it is not fit for drinking because it has high TDS.
Very good and informative video.. After watching your video discovered how to adjust TDS. As shown in the video.. I opend outer lid of RO found out TDS adjuster is missing.. After fighting with customer support on amazon. They have placed replacement for my product.. Hope this time they deliver ro with all its parts.. Really disappointed from Amazon.
Earlier UF version had taste adjuster built-in but presently it doesn't so you'll need to get it installed by Eureka Forbes in case you opt for that version.

There is a unique method to reset different models, which is mentioned in the service manual of the product, but it is only provided to Eureka Forbes technicians.
@ST-oh6zw Yes, just use a cotton cloth to wipe any algae that may deposit on the sides and use a chlorine tablet to disinfect the container. After 30 minutes drain the chlorinated water, wipe any remaining water inside so that chlorine doesn't get in your drinking water then refill.

Today I installed Aguaguard sure RO+UV+UF. My tap water tds is 70 and purifier water tds is 5. Very low level tds value. What do I need to do? Is it safe for drinking? Please reply soon.
I complained about such a low tds value in output water. Technical came and he said that as tap water tds is 50-60, it is needed to convert it in UV+uf mode using tds controller. RO will not be in use. Now output tds value is 50-60. Technician ne sahi Kia ya mujhe ullu banaya. Tap water hi peela raha, filter bolke.😂
When 6000 liters of filtered water passes through the RO membrane, RO shows red light indicating servicing, this can take a few years depending on your usage. Sometimes filters aren't dirty enough so RO can be reset while old filters are not changed, it depends what technicians recommend. Visiting charges should be like 500 for out of warranty repairs while initial installation is done free of cost from the company.
This is an excellent product, but its 6 liter tank won't be enough in your case. Make sure you store water in extra container that is sufficient for your joint family.
RO ki aprox. 40% cost mein saare filters change hote hai. AMC ke liye aapko Eureka Forbes se pata karna padega. Performance baaki sab video mein bataya hi hai maine.

Yes, but it depends if your model has TDS adjuster built it, if not then Eureka Forbes technician can install it for you.

UF means ultra filtration which is suitable for areas with water supply having TDS higher then 1000 ppm.

You need to buy the version with UF because for TDS above 1200, ultra filtration is necessary.

400 TDS is higher than normal, so if you use a water filter without RO, it won't decrease TDS at all. Besides, you can use this model bypassing RO mode with its inbuilt TDS adjuster.

I'd suggest you buy an RO+UV with TDS adjuster because water supply varies and TDS at times may be too high for drinking purpose.
For TDS less than 500 govt. is going to ban RO. For less than 500, uv+uf is enough, should have sediment filter also. Plus carbon filter which removes odours.. even mineral water bottle have TDS of 120-150, you can check any mineral water bottle. And himalayan mineral water bottle have TDS around 250. So it's just not TDS, don't fall marketing gimmick, Google more..

I bought the UV+RO+UF model.
The installation guy called and told I have to buy separate pressure valve as I am living in 4th floor and it is a 23 floor building. He is asking 4k for that and he also told to install a separate iron filter costing 2k. Is all these necessary?
He is right because in high rise buildings, pressure regulator valve is necessary to prevent damage to water filter due to excessive water pressure. However iron filter is not necessary so you can skip that. Regarding amounts he is quoting, I would say 4k is excessive because PRV is available for under 1k (for example: amzn.to/3NxhBhf). Try to bargain by showing this to him, maybe then he'll give a more affordable quotation for you.

after purchasing this model with ro + uv i didn't knew some models doesn't come with tds controller and when installation person came checked there was no adjuster and when service guy checked my tap water tds level was 150 so they told me it cant be returned but we can install additional tds adjuster should i go for it will it give the same result
Got with it, TDS adjuster is installed later on by Eureka Forbes technician in some models and it works well.
@@M-DIY yes they installed it for extra 500 rs i had no other choice as once its installed it can't be returned but my problem is solved they fit the tds adjuster like its original tds not like jugadu way its working as it should my tds is now 79 ppm without tds adjuster it was 5 ppm
one question sir so is there's no difference between pre installed tds adjuster and post tds adjuster also company advertise tds adjuster as taste adjuster also is it the same for both situation or pre installed has some taste enhancer filter on it ?
Taste adjuster is merely a blending valve which modifies TDS ppm. It is same for both units which either come with it built -in or those without.

Hello I am a new user of RO. Wanted to know if i need to keep the tank full every day does it mean i end up wasting the water from the blue pipe every day?
No, you can fill the RO as per your needs, no need to keep it full but since it is a 6 liter tank, ideally it should be kept full so that you have enough water storage for the day. Water given out by the blue pipe can be used to water the plants or wash dishes, but it is not fit for drinking because it has high TDS.
Very good and informative video.. After watching your video discovered how to adjust TDS. As shown in the video.. I opend outer lid of RO found out TDS adjuster is missing.. After fighting with customer support on amazon. They have placed replacement for my product.. Hope this time they deliver ro with all its parts.. Really disappointed from Amazon.

Earlier UF version had taste adjuster built-in but presently it doesn't so you'll need to get it installed by Eureka Forbes in case you opt for that version.

Not really, sometimes technicians reset the SMPS inside with the older filters but it is not recommended by Eureka Forbes.

That older RO is working fine after resetting and this new RO has not required any maintenance and no resetting has been done either.

There is a unique method to reset different models, which is mentioned in the service manual of the product, but it is only provided to Eureka Forbes technicians.

@ST-oh6zw Yes, just use a cotton cloth to wipe any algae that may deposit on the sides and use a chlorine tablet to disinfect the container. After 30 minutes drain the chlorinated water, wipe any remaining water inside so that chlorine doesn't get in your drinking water then refill.

Exact procedure varies from model to model, but you need to press a button on the SMPS unit inside RO for a few seconds to reset it.

TDS of 5 ppm is dangerously low! Unscrew TDS adjuster by 3-4 turns and then check TDS again. It should be at least 50 for optimum taste and health.

I complained about such a low tds value in output water. Technical came and he said that as tap water tds is 50-60, it is needed to convert it in UV+uf mode using tds controller. RO will not be in use. Now output tds value is 50-60.

In how many days is the servicing done and how much does it cost and how much does setting up cost / visiting charge after purchasing the filter.
When 6000 liters of filtered water passes through the RO membrane, RO shows red light indicating servicing, this can take a few years depending on your usage. Sometimes filters aren't dirty enough so RO can be reset while old filters are not changed, it depends what technicians recommend. Visiting charges should be like 500 for out of warranty repairs while initial installation is done free of cost from the company.

No, it varies from model to model but Eureka Forbes technicians install TA for 500 rupees extra so it is not an issue.

This is an excellent product, but its 6 liter tank won't be enough in your case. Make sure you store water in extra container that is sufficient for your joint family.
