@@babyyoshi2904 hey, so, if you pretty much just run straight forward on the very first level of the game, you will come to a wall with a giant ring inside it that will take you to the bonus level. Once you have completed the bonus stage, you simply restart the level and the giant Ring should appear again, allowing you to attempt to get the emerald again if you didn’t already, or you will be able to get the next emerald along the list. Hope this helps. :)

"nothing like you've ever since" have you played Sonic CD? should've brought that up during the chaos emerald stages, because that is their origin. also bringing up the cheat way of bouncing off the walls and perfectly timing turns when you hit them can send you faster than you should, mastering that guarantees you getting the emerald, even at mach 1.
If you're knuckles then this is just a ring you get from his normal route. The others you can get from the bottom route and before the boss fight, so you can get 3 in one act.

The run for the 3rd Chaos Emerald is definitely my fave course design out of all 7. The 6th Chaos Emerald would be second fave. Whenever I finally get a chance to get this game (haven't the $ for it atm), I know I will consider myself very lucky to even obtain one Chaos Emerald within 6 hrs of gameplay. haha Looking forward to playing this. :)
Sayura Valkyrie. I'm pretty sure you keep it. It's the same thing as Sonic 3. If you beat the game you can keep trying the first level to get the special stage. And when you exit it in sonic 3 you keep the emerald because it saves your progress. And you can exit out and get the other six.

No, the Sonic 2 tube was way easier than these. I could do the Sonic 2 tube Emeralds in one try. I've been stuck on Emerald 3 pretty much since I got the game here. I miss having the Get Blue Spheres stages as Emerald stages. Those were the best.
They're not quite as bad as the special stages from Sonic 4, but yeah, I'm not a fan of these UFO ones. Got stuck on emerald 3 for ages as well. Didn't care for these stages in Sonic CD either. The Sonic 2 special stages are still my favourite.
I hope they make a whole game in the special stage style. It would be open world with enemies, but with the same graphics as the special stages. These are the best special stages of any sonic game in my opinion.
MarkXV I don't know about anyone else but I'm going to get mania on PC. And then I'll have the perfect classic "trilogy" as I like to call it. First is Sonic Classic Heroes. (*It puts sonic 1 and sonic 2 together so I'm counting that as 1 game. Plus it blends really well with Sonic 3 Complete if you only play with sonic & tails and collect only the chaos emeralds without the sol emeralds.*) Second is Sonic 3 Complete. (The best version of that game.) And third will be sonic mania. And they all support Co-op!
I've finished Sonic & Tails, Knuckles, Tails, and Sonic with all emeralds. Collecting the emeralds and even finding the big rings gets really easy progressively. For me, the Sonic route was my last and I got all the chaos emeralds in the first two zones. Sonic & Tails was my first route and I didn't even get all emeralds at first.

It may not be the way YOU wanted but he provided ways to get the emeralds and after watching how he did it i was able to obtain them without failing so he did his job and a good one at it. I have oe problem with my run of the third special stage For some reason, in your video the ufo was slow at first and you were able to catch it, in my run the ufo was super fast and was already way ahead of me before stage started

It may be easy for YOU to get all of the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic Mania/Sonic Mania Plus, but me on the other hand, I have a hard time getting the emeralds. A Sonic 3 Blue Sphere Special Stage and a Sonic CD UFO Special Stage combined into one Special Stage just doesn't work out well.
I had the pc version of sonic 3 and knuckles , two methods I used 1st one on angle island one of the swinging vines you press left 3 x Right 3 times up 3 times then reset the game = level select. Other one is hit the windows button on the keyboard to slow Down the game then just play Blue spear . Did this back in 2004 / 2005 .😎
11:25 Weird flex, but ok. :D To those that are late to the party (like myself), my favourite giant ring is the one in Oil Zone 1! You can be there in about 20 seconds! It took me a while for emerald 3 and 5, but got them in the end!
Tip: if you lose, close the game and open it again, you will be able to play through the special stage again (make sure to close it before the save icon appears)

Except in those stages you dont race a ufo. You destory all the ufos on the screen. And you can only speed up temporarily using boost pads.

There is nothing higher than Mach 3. No Mach 4, no "et cetera". Every time you fill the meter after mach 3, it's just bonus points.
