I think an easter egg was missed: There is a player death animation that I've seen a number of times on a no hope playthrough. If you die from a certain struggle animation from a zombie, it eats the character's abdomen and the camera pans to behind the zombie. The zombie then turns it head over its left shoulder slowly and looks at the camera, almost identically to how the first encounter with the zombie back in the mansion did.

The other virus or chemicals that Albert was given would work similar to Jill with the T- Virus again before Jake’s birth. There should be no reason for Jake to be called Wesker’s son and have the c virus immunity. If he was a test subject kid that could work not Wesker. The "music box theme" from code veronica is actually a composition by Chopin titled Berceuse, though it's played faster than it should be. The lyrics she sang were original though EDIT: The character voice actor for Jake said it was a random tune and not Berceuse though
Just when piers becoming my best rookie character after leon re 2, he died :(, he is so cool, hot tempered, but still cool. He is a wonder kid, sadly he died.
Right? Seriously he had the potential to be one of the next RE generation characters he was so much better than fucking boring Ethan and her stupid wife Mia🤦🏻♂️
@@exmatilda3095 im not saying sherry and helena are useless, but its just that they are no match for their main character. Seriously how the hell helena can keep up with leon? Its leon fucking kennedy. And from jake's story it is proven that shery still got babysitted by jake even if she can fight. Piers also have one of the toughest captain chris redfield, but somehow piers can catch up and actually convinced chris many times
@@thatrandomperson6609 exactly! He saved the legendary Chris Redfield's ass multiple times during the campaign even though he was still 27 In my opinion it's not too late and they still can bring him back Hell they could even team him up with sherry or jake(which would be hilarious according to their fightings with each other😂😂)
Shes my favourite too, but i hope she will never appear in a RE again. Capcom would just cast a random instagram model and scan her like they do with all characters since RE7 and i dont want some fake instagram Thot insultingly pretending to be Helena. If its not the real deal, than just dont.
I would like to see her again just so she can get a fully fleshed out backstory. I'd also like to see Jake in another game as I like his style, it's markedly different from Chris's boy scout-type attitude, and Leon's ladies' man-type attitude. I'd also like to see Rebecca again, and Billy too, though not necessarily teamed up again.
Yeah, i think that tittle belongs to Dead Aim. Still, RE6 has to be the most controversial Resident Evil due to its huge focus on over the top action over narrative and horror.
There is one secret I've noticed quite a few people don't seem to know about, the ability to instantly mix herbs without ever opening the actual item menu. On PS3/PS4 you basically press the heal button and reload button at the same time, and it will mix whatever herbs that can be mixed & instantly load whatever your highest stack of herbs are into the herb case. They even gave a visual for it with an animation of the characters twisting & shaking the case when doing it.
I’m pretty sure that I’m one of the few that liked the game, the game had many different ideas like Leon campaign had zombies, Chris’s had the infected, and Wesker Jr. AKA Jake’s had the Nemesis theme.
Wesker already had a special blood type when he fathered Jake. He was heavily experimented when he was a baby, he was part of the "Wesker children project". That is the reason that Jake has antibodies in his blood. There's no continuity error, your content is error.
I REALLY like that tune from Outbreak 2 (#5, 06:45). Oh and your videos in general. Informative, entertaining and well made (as far as I can tell). Good stuff, Mr. M.
This video made me realize that I really need to play this game again. I've only played it once and there were so many scenes here that I just don't remember :/
Not sure if it counts as a easter egg or something but i thought of it immediately after i first saw it. At 0:09 there is a zombie whos knocking at the doors, same thing i saw in RE3 near Bar Black Jack
You fucking dickhead. How could you possibly be okay with that bitch replacing a fan favorite character like Claire? Helena was a shit character. And really, you mentioned her ass? As if that fuckin' matters in the gran scheme of things. Chauvinist.
I was mostly indifferent about Helena, she just didn't get enough development or backstory for me to feel invested in her. The only scene where I felt more positively about her was on the train when she fires the final shot at Simmons. But then the coolness of the scene is immediately downplayed when you find out Simmons is still alive and fight him again. I liked RE6, but one part I really hated was the ever-living bosses - Ustanak survived so much shit that should have killed him and would have killed probably even Wesker himself like being drilled through the chest, being dropped in lava, being crushed by a communications tower, etc. Same goes for Simmons. Like just die already, we don't need them to be the final bosses, come up with someone/something else. Everytime you beat Simmons or Ustanak, then you discover it/he is still alive and you have to fight them again, it just feels like you're accomplishing nothing.
I personally loved Resident Evil 6, tho I did prefer to see more actual scares my favorite story was actually Jake and Sherry's, I'm a sucker for love stories and being chased by a tyrant like character the whole time created a fear-like atmosphere
Also I think with the hand with the microwave. I believe that's a reference to a movie called Idle Hand or something along those lines basically the dude's hand gets possessed and tries to kill people and he tries to kill it by putting it in the microwave. It could just be a coincidence but it's very specific
I wonder if the flushing the hand down the toilet was a nod to the scene in House (old horror movie). Main character also flushes a living hand down the tubes. 😂
Maybe they shouldn't have killed Chris maybe crippled him so he taken brains role as a commander and past the touch to peirce who could of had is own mansion incerdent or something... Were as jake and cherry could deal with a outbreak in the middle east. Which were I thought they were going with jakes ending scene.
Wesker might still be around planning a new scheme, as stated by Ozwell Spencer in RE5 referring to "Wesker Children" meaning there are many Weskers (Clones just like Alice in movie).
Just after 8m, "Lara Croft Piers" is definitely Rambo. I don't believe Lara Croft has ever worn a red bandana, which is like, incredibly iconic for Rambo, and maybe even up there on the list of most iconic things legitimately ever, in all of film history. Unless she's worn one in one of the newer games, considering I haven't kept up with those.. But even then, I'd wager it's most likely a reference back to, again, Rambo. I'd mention the bow but that could too easily be chalked up to stuff like coincidence or ambiguity, so no point there.
It’s also worth knowing that Wesker actually made an appearance in some form in the Resident Evil 6 Pachislot. Could be a flashback to 5, but who knows...
Am I the only one who thinks Jake isn't whistling the Code Veronica theme? I played that game and had it stuck in my head for a month, I don't hear it coming from him.
I’m confused. Weren’t the Wesker children chosen specifically for their genes? Even if Jake never came in contact with the Progenitor Virus, I don’t see how that causes errors.
Claire should have been with Chris in Resident Evil 6. In re 2 she's looking for Christmas the whole time and they do meet up in Code Veronica but still they're brother and sister would make sense that they would stick with each other. Ashley would have been a cool partner for Leon and more grown-up and mature version that learned how to defend herself since that's the last time we saw Leon and he was with her
looking at RS6 by itself, Piers was my favourite and was the only character that really shown through. I'm talking about if we look solely into RS6 and forget about all previous RS. Because I'm not sure why but you got Chris was was a mature badass and yes he went through something taumatic but it's not his first time and he been through worse in my view which subsequently led him to an alcoholic, unreasonable and a bad leader until almost the end where he went back into a mature, good, positive guy again who was once again a role model. Leon for some reason seemed bland and because Helen didn't really have much I'm kinda glad it wasn't Claire because if she was going to be like that it be out of character. If we look at previous resident evils, Chris and Leon were out of character in this one in my view. Ada is also kinda bland in this one, not so much of anything and only time when she remotely seemed to be like herself in previous game was the last bit showing herself to Leon and once again separates from him like she was messing/playing him around again. Don't get me wrong I do think it's still a good game in my view and while the story has many flaws it was still an enjoyable story though just characters seemed to be not themselves. Piers was a true trooper, shown great combat and leadership skills and really shown to be a great person and soldier right to the very end. No matter what happened he kept himself together and respected Chris even though most would have lost themselves with the way he was acting. It's too bad he had to die but he made a real impact to the story and his character when he died. He did what he did and ultimately brought back the Chris they needed.
Many people say the RE6 was the worst in the main series, but i think it was pretty fun game, because all the 4 campaign has a different gameplay style, which makes this game unique, plus it was great co-op multiplayer game, when you sit down in the couch and play with your friend or your girlfriend
I just saw it as, a full game being broken into 4 Campaigns that were very short. oh yay, I get to play 20% of the game with Leon! I'd rather a full game with a character. makes the story and immersion last longer.
Yeah but you forgot about the story, it was pretty messy and that's why many ppl say it's the worst including myself, it was to cucu and silly and we're talking about a game based on zombie outbreaks lol.
@@joijiparra yeah the story it's still suck. But I mentioned I enjoy the gameplay elements (well lot of QTE, and the camera is also suck) it's fun to pick up and play. Yeah as the RE fans I think it is a bad game, but as casual gamer I think is not to bad game because the fun co-op gameplay
@@joijiparra How's was RE6 story the worst? That's one of RE6's strong points, and there are many RE fanfiction stories based off of RE6 story narrative and characters. No dude, RE7 had the worst story and that's a fact as everyone knows this already.
After beating RE6, I saw the negativity towards it. It wasn't until I started playing through it again, that I thought it's not a bad game, like O.R.C. Or later with Umbrella Corps, but I for some reason didn't want to play it again. Then I thought maybe if Michael Bay made a Resident Evil game, that might be it
Btw, for number 9, you should add "no Jill Valentine" as well. Unlike Claire, she did not have any activity that took place between 5 and 6, right? I know Jill is passive character just like Claire, but they should have at least talk about her.
I loved 6 more than 7.Dont get me wrong Resident Evil 7 is a great game but lets face it it isnt a Resident Evil game its more Parasite Eve or Silent Hill type of game,On the other hand Re 6 had to much action going on but I still enjoyed it.
@murat balamsa Yeah that's one of the reasons RE7 is one of my lease favourite too. That and some of the plot parts were annoying convenient. "Oh we have to make a serum using body parts from the previous Eveline model, oh wow the model's arm is conveniently located in this room at this exact mansion we are at", like... Sure RE has done stuff like that before, but they should have learned by now. Also, yes the enemies were just boring samefaces except for the bosses.
I always find it strange when peoples biggest complaint for this game comes from the idea that it strayed too far away from the horror roots. What did you expect? The bad guys are selling BOWs globally, it was only a matter of time that some organization was going to use them to target multiple areas in the world as a huge terrorist attack.
The worst game in the series??? No way I absolutely loved RE6 after my first play through of the game I knew it was an instant classic in the resident evil franchise.

@@sleepingonyourroof Haha man yeah :D
I wish more channels are like you determination and quilty i really love it thanks for the awesome content!
3:30 - I agree, Claire is a passive character. She chose her own way to fight and Leon another.
7:00 - The Leon Wetsuit and Merchant as a backpack!!!!
I personally liked RE6 well mainly Leon's Campaign and the way the characters move plus its fun to play with friends in Mercenaries mode.
The "music box theme" from code veronica is actually a composition by Chopin titled Berceuse, though it's played faster than it should be. The lyrics she sang were original though EDIT: The character voice actor for Jake said it was a random tune and not Berceuse though
Doesn’t sound anything like the berceuse he’s clearly not musically inclined or just tone deaf.
I actually like RE6. It has strong & cinematic story
Leon : shooting zombies
Some cop : on my 1st day as a cop and already have a shoot out.
Leon turn his head and probably said: what the😨
I'm glad I'm not the only one that actually likes Resident Evil 6!
@@exmatilda3095 exactly bro, piers seriously the only second character that actually carried the main character
He saved the legendary Chris Redfield's ass multiple times during the campaign even though he was still 27
In my opinion it's not too late and they still can bring him back
Hell they could even team him up with sherry or jake(which would be hilarious according to their fightings with each other😂😂)
Tbh I loved Helena Harper, she was one of my favorite characters and I loved her character arc. But I doubt she will be back 😭.
+1
@@rhysiare I wanna see Carlos again
Anyone who says Resident EvIl 6 is the worst in the series, hasn't played the whole series.
Yeah, i think that tittle belongs to Dead Aim. Still, RE6 has to be the most controversial Resident Evil due to its huge focus on over the top action over narrative and horror.
I mean, it is pretty bad.
Kitten Hermit it’s still not that great as part of the main series
I think they mean main line entries
Yeah, I love it because it’s not scary, it looks just like an action game
There's no continuity error, your content is error.
the Wesker Children Project... AKA Les Enfants Terribles
@@vanerek yeah, he’s a casual fan
I REALLY like that tune from Outbreak 2 (#5, 06:45). Oh and your videos in general. Informative, entertaining and well made (as far as I can tell). Good stuff, Mr. M.
This video made me realize that I really need to play this game again. I've only played it once and there were so many scenes here that I just don't remember :/
Same here.
Excellent cut to Wesker's demise in that volcano.
Truly Spielberg editing! ;)
Love that Wesker death cry.....
Chrissssssss
Please tell me I’m not the only one who recognizes the background music that plays at number 5. It’s the intro theme from Resident Evil Outbreak
wearing Merchant as a backpack?! I NEED THIS
Not sure if it counts as a easter egg or something but i thought of it immediately after i first saw it.
At 0:09 there is a zombie whos knocking at the doors, same thing i saw in RE3 near Bar Black Jack
6:14
The first time I played RE6, I kid you not. I did that without even knowing that was possible.
Sherry interacting with the room looks like a sims game 😂😂
I dont mind that Claire was replaced with Helena Harper. I really liked Helana as a character....she has a nice butt too
I love helena harper.
I didn’t mind her, but she looks permanently pissed off, and that rubs me the wrong way somehow 🤷♀️
You fucking dickhead. How could you possibly be okay with that bitch replacing a fan favorite character like Claire? Helena was a shit character. And really, you mentioned her ass? As if that fuckin' matters in the gran scheme of things. Chauvinist.
@@DarkAttackYT You're talking about Helena, right? Yeah, she was awful.
Jake whistling that tune... thats super epic!!! Despite the hate the got we got a lot of lore that was epic.
I loved it, it was my first resident evil game I had ever played.
Yeah same
Same! I stopped playing because I forgot I had it 😂 I just finished Leon’s and Sherry’s story lines
I wonder if the flushing the hand down the toilet was a nod to the scene in House (old horror movie). Main character also flushes a living hand down the tubes. 😂
Honestly it would make more sense for Jake to be Wesker's clone than his son
Maybe they shouldn't have killed Chris maybe crippled him so he taken brains role as a commander and past the touch to peirce who could of had is own mansion incerdent or something... Were as jake and cherry could deal with a outbreak in the middle east. Which were I thought they were going with jakes ending scene.
6:47 is that Outbreak music playing in the background? Didn't expect to hear that here
Yes it is
I love the music
I really miss playing that game and the memories :(
One of my favorite Resident Evil games, it was actually the first one I brought.
Yeah dude, for sure make the video on Jake's origin, he always seemed like an interesting character to me!
Nice observations. I'm glad that i am not the only one to see multiple throwbacks to classic RE games in RE6
I really want to see a Jake's story video it looks cool to know his story with wesker
Wesker might still be around planning a new scheme, as stated by Ozwell Spencer in RE5 referring to "Wesker Children" meaning there are many Weskers (Clones just like Alice in movie).
The cutscenes in this game are so badass
The microwaved hand is a reference to the movie Idle Hands. I love it
You are not the only one disappointed when Leon was not reunited with Claire, Chris is too
Just after 8m, "Lara Croft Piers" is definitely Rambo.
9:20
What a great cut-away 😅
Honesty it was a good game, just not a good Resident Evil
Preach.
@@TheBennyester Bitch
TheNonFortnite Gamer yeah well that’s where the consensus’s at
I absolutely loved it. Leon campaign was best.
Spent hours on merc mode.
That's the idea, fun to play but not that great overall as a RE game.
Now I know I was robbed of Sherry getting a bathing suit and caution tape outfit. Great.
7:02 almost looks like a reference to Doctrine Dark from Street Fighter EX
I love SIX I had such a great time playing through the different characters and especially mercenaries!
@@Ravathiel true bro but like this was sthg new and make the story pretty big me also i only played 2 of the 4 campaigns, the last 2 i saw on youtube
We totally want a video about jake, and, what about some facts about Piers Nivans?
After beating RE6, I saw the negativity towards it. It wasn't until I started playing through it again, that I thought it's not a bad game, like O.R.C. Or later with Umbrella Corps, but I for some reason didn't want to play it again. Then I thought maybe if Michael Bay made a Resident Evil game, that might be it
I loved RE6, 2 is still my favorite but playing 6 co-op and in mercenaries mode was one of the most fun times I had with friends.
Now I'm curious about Jake's Origins...
Fun Fact: The Japanese title for Commando in that arcade is "Senjou no Ookami" (Wolf Of The Battlefield).
6:20 you can also throw the hands into a furnace located in the same area as the microwave!
Btw, for number 9, you should add "no Jill Valentine" as well. Unlike Claire, she did not have any activity that took place between 5 and 6, right? I know Jill is passive character just like Claire, but they should have at least talk about her.
I still play this game up to this day
Those concept costumes are hilarious! They would have been great DLC for the game, especially those "eroge" costumes for Ada, Sherry & Helena. 😉
10:16 can you believe they where going to kill Chris ?
Daughty Dog: WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!
I actually loved 6 compared to 7 because of the enemy variety, 7 only had mold people everywhere.
I loved 6 more than 7.Dont get me wrong Resident Evil 7 is a great game but lets face it it isnt a Resident Evil game its more Parasite Eve or Silent Hill type of game,On the other hand Re 6 had to much action going on but I still enjoyed it.
@@sandrogrzelj7841 it kinda made me wish re would split into serious survival series and full action spin off just to satisfy both worlds
5:10 Mr.X's Bed
and here he comes

The witch outfit for Ada really reminds me of the Black Mage outfit for Paine in FFX-2
The worst game in the series??? No way I absolutely loved RE6 after my first play through of the game I knew it was an instant classic in the resident evil franchise.
