Great video! For anyone that are not helped by this: I spent about 20 hours in forums and watching clips on how to solve fps streaming issues without any success. Turns out having your screen connected to the motherboard is a really bad idea. If you are in the same situation as me, make sure to connect any hdmi/dvi cables directly into the Graphic card. Now I can stream in 60fps without any problems, and all games run so much smoother!

Really glad they came out with this version of OBS. now i dont have to have like 4 things up cuz now its all put into one! Also the theme and widget packs are a nice starting point for beginners like me. Now my streams will hopefully look somewhat presentable xD
this really helped me out there are so many things i didn't know u could do in stream labs obs and it was difficult at first with the snapping and moving of files around so i went back to the original obs to stream but now i want to go back to streamlabs obs thank u
Both programs are great for streaming, the snapping can be disabled too. Glad the video helped

Gael LEVEL your welcome, keep up the good work, do you think an elgato is a must for PS4 streaming or should I just stream from the PS4 with no overlays?
If you don't have the budget for an elgato you can have a successful twitch stream while streaming from PS4 i've a lot of streamers make it work. If heard of another technique where you can stream your ps4 to your pc without a capture card but I have no info on it.
@@Gael_Level PS4 Remote Play, connect the ps4 controller to the pc and launch the app while your ps4 is on

My man! what a great in depth tutorial! I gotta ask you, don't you feel SLOBS is not well optimized yet? I've tried it a couple of times and sometimes it actually crashed; and I keep going back to OBS
I've been using SLOBS since launch and never had any problems with it. But I heard a lot of people have. I only obs studio to record those tutorials ^^
When i import any video like when you did in the camera overlay, it comes with low quality! How can i import them in high quality like the original design?

Gael I appreciate the help. But I got one question. When I tried to get the game capture I clicked on the box that I needed to bring the game up but it still never showed up. And it was running in the background. Is there a fix to this?

I would love to do my own overlays on Photoshop or After Effects, but I'm not sure on the sizes that I would need to use. I've downloaded one of your packs for reference, and I've seen, for example, the Info panels were 640x198. Is this optimal, or they are just preference? Twitch recommends 320x100, so I was curious. Any other sizes I would need to keep in mid? Thank you very much for all your work! Much love
The size on my guide pack are optimal, twitch resizes the panels to 320px height, I recommend 640px because you will get a better, sharper image quality

Hi I was just wondering if it was possible to make it so when you are playing the game you can't see the widgets (new sub and donation etc) so you can see it not just stream and a way to get the UA-cam chat onto your screen I have tried a lot of stuff but it just affected my stream and not my actual screen when streaming

hello, how can I add in custom overlay? I have some but I can't because I put them in sources and they overlap. can I put them in somewhere without them overlapping?
when downloading the overlay and stuff, i could only download it in to a zip folder how do i change it to what u have?
One thing I'm having trouble with is showing the offline banner that comes with the theme I'm using. I can find the image file just fine, but it doesn't show it with any of the attached stuff, such as youtube/twitter accounts. How do I do this?
