How To Crop In On Your Camera In OBS
Let’s start with the easiest, but also one of the most effective ways to help add a bit more emphasis and engagement to whatever you are doing. I come from a Filmmaking background and one of the major techniques we use is shot size, we film wides, mediums, and close ups then cut between them to add emphasis or feeling to a statement.
To do this live, all you need to do is grab your camera, duplicate it, and layer it on top of the old camera. Zoom the camera in a bit, and then you can keybind it either in your settings to toggle the source on and off, as seen on screen now, go to Settings, Select Hotkeys, then find your scene you’re working in, find the layer, and then hotkey it to a button you don’t use such as your Numpad, or you can use an Elgato StreamDeck or StreamDeck alternative to do it very easily.

How To Use Hotkeys In OBS To Trigger Sources, Scenes, and more
Head to your Settings and click Hot Keys, search up the source you want to show or hide, for example my CAMERA, you’ll see a SHOW HIDE for the OBS Source, we’re going to hotkey each to something we don’t touch often or by accident, so CTRL SHIFT 1 for show and hide, and click apply.
Now when we press CTRL SHIFT 1, OBS will show or hide that source because of the Filter. These hotkeys can be used to trigger scenes, music, sound effects, and even combine all these at once.

Fantastic video, but I don't do any live streaming, only recording videos. So should I let all cameras roll at the same time (I use Source Record plugin) and then do all the edits in Davinci?

I set up a redemption on streamelements and when it's redeemed my lurk overlay is triggered when it shouldn't be, do you know what I can do to stop that overlay popping up with the wrong redemption? Hi Eljay! Thanks for another helpful video! Apologies if you've already gone over this, but how do you green screen yourself behind the desk without a green screen?
I use a green screen for that, and I took the same image of me with the desk, cut it up in layers and put the desk images in front of my camera/green screen
And the background behind it
I have more nested scenes than my actual scenes
Also if the quality of the creator is measured in the amount scenes, how many should i have ?
Do you have advice about the OBS nested scenes cause more workload in the CPU? I used a fair bit of nested scenes for my setup but found that it would cause obs to use 80% of my gpu while streaming.
Don’t go overboard and only do what your PC can handle, that’s about it

I love your content. I'm a just chatting streamer and I need all the help I can get when it comes to OBS - I can't even get sound alerts to work, let alone anything else. If I had the money (yes I'm talking to you Mr. 1%er in the comments), I'd be paying for one to one tuition on this stuff!
You really shouldn’t need to pay someone, I have 2 videos one about twitch alerts and the other about obs for beginners, they should be enough.

I think it would be better, to make different Move Value Filters instead of actual scenes. Way more organiced and flexibel. But not actualy easy, I guess.
