Just looking at your solves, your efficiency looks AMAZING. Lookahead could be better, but overall, I’m just really exited that a big youtuber is using roux. Keep it up man :)
You’re doing great man! Thanks for the vid. I’m not much when it comes to being able to offer any help, but one thing I noticed you take pause on sometimes.. if yellow is your U face when you’re about to put the two top edges in with a M2 and the two top white edges are opposite each other, look at the F face center and one of the white edge pieces and understand that after the M2 is performed, the F center is going to be opposite. This may help, because you’ll already know which way to U turn before you finish the M2, because you’ll know which U side piece needs to be matched with the new F center color. Gosh! That’s so much easier to explain in person than in text. 😂LAUGHING OUT LOUD😂. I hope this was helpful. You’re really awesome and I learn a lot from you. I just notice you take pause after the M2 in this case and thought maybe this is why.
I started learning roux a couple weeks ago, just to try it out. I'm enjoying it so far, down to about 48 seconds average. I had about a 25 average with cfop, but I'm enjoying learning some new skills, and I'm sure I'll get my times down with good practice.
@@tvlogs7410 I haven't been timing myself all that much recently, been focusing more on trying to be more efficient on block building in particular rather than thinking about time, but last time I did time myself I was mid 30s.
@@tvlogs7410 I average around 25 seconds now, but my time are inconsistent mainly cause of choking otherwise roux is working great for me I am anwsering from a different account
I joined the rouxvolution about 2weeks ago! I’m comfortably sub 35 now with a roux pb of 21 (CFOP pb is 16) feel like I’m making much more progress than with CFOP, working on efficiency in second block atm and being a bit more colour neutral, which I’m finding so much harder on roux than CFOP. Also full CMLL seems so daunting, like recognition alone just seems crazy!! Also the cookies are amazing!!
Good Luck Man 👍👍 Hope you Improve achieve your Goals ☺☺ Your cube looks a bit weird 😂 Also J Perm when SCR said Everyone was there 😧😡😢😠 Also, try to be a bit faster in L6E, increase the turn speed to do it 😊
Bro this is awesome After watching this My average literally went down by 3 seconds and I was sub 20 now I'm sub 17! I also sometimes use CFOP But normally I use Roux so this helped me a lot Thanks!
The main area for improvement that I see is pauses. I avg ~14 with roux that's what I've been working on. Practice planning all of FB in inspection so that you can execute pauseless. Also some SB cases are hard for me after switching from cfop so I do untimed solves to optimize bad cases.
I got back into cubing because of covod-19. I started in the beginning of last year, and stopped in summer of last year with a average of like 28 i dont really remember and I did not use any timer, wich recorded my solves back then. I now cube again since April. I had to relearn my plls and finally learned 2 look OLL. Before, I used some wierd 2 look oll, in wich I, when I had my edges oriented, just used lefty and righty sunes, to solve the corners. Now I know 40 Olls and I am sub 16 with a pb of 9.75.
Good job with your roux best of luck for your 1 year of roux what is you expectation time for 1 year roux I solve cfop and avg sub 25 your so good compared to me
Dude, it takes 20 secs to solve the first and second block, and another 20 seconds for cmll and Lse and its been one month with atleast 2000 solves. I just cant get any faster. Please 🙏 , any tips?
No need to post the same question in different videos. Plan out the whole first block in inspection. That means take a couple minutes to inspect if you need, not just 15 seconds. CMLL is algs to that practice executing and recognizing. The whole solve should be around 50 moves. If is more, focus on efficiency.... not time.
@@SpeedCubeReview alright thanks, im really getting desperate for sub 30 but just cant seem to get there, but i will try tho, and thanks alot for the tips
Remember that 2000 solves is not very much. Give yourself at least 10,000 slow solves of practice. Efficiency over speed. Do NOT worry about your times.
I also started learning roux two weeks ago . roux is really interesting and I am switching to it. Can anyone suggest me a good cmll algorithm set and maybe give some roux tips?
@Charizard Fouzi Check out Kian Mansours yt? Channel and website for good cmllalgs . And their is also a roux block building website just search it up on UA-cam or type roux block building website. It teaches you Efficiency
How did it feel getting hit by Brody, a rival from The Cubicle and then accidentally hitting your SCS teammate? btw it's a _joke_ i know most people from cubing companies like each other.
IG I'm correct, Roux is perfect for you- your very efficient and slow turning style is what Roux needs to contribute to the WR👍
you need efficiency AND fast turning for a WR

Just continue with CFOP and learn new optimizations in it, you will be at a better place than roux
No offence to rouxers
Just Turn Sune offence was taken, it’s his choice and Roux is excellent.

Could you post(or even make a video of) the solutions of your roux solves, it would help people like me who average about 23 with roux.
I just started learning ROUX on Sunday. Should I learn full CMLL right away?
If you know 2-look start learning 1-look. You probably already know many algs.
Ok. Thanks!
yup
Pls do a video on first block efficiency, pls, would really appreciate it.
I will for sure in about a month and a half
Hey Shaun (don't know if that is spelt right), do you have a sub-10 with roux yet?
0:35 bllluuuuu
Wow
I got today my first sub-20 solve with roux
What are your thoughts on m slices with roux on moyu RS3M vs Valk elite m or any other cube worthy of comparison?
Very different puzzles. I like the RS3 however some top Roux solvers swear by Valk puzzles.
I picked up beatboxing and even posted a video of me beatboxing while cubing on my yt channel
