the realization that the HE ammo ability being able to reset cap by you just shooting the generator if someone's hiding behind it was such a revelation to me. ever since i found out about that it has never been easier to win games as a Waffle
same for standing 5m behind the cap pillar, most of ppl would t bother to shoot in the ground, they aim for pillar all the time :d

Playing as the waffentrager is THE most fun i've had in this game in a long time. An alternate Strat is the first time your shield is down, act like you still have it. That might seem weird and counterproductive, but honestly as long you're not somewhere you can be surrounded, you can still wreck the harriers with your massive gun. And because you're vulnerable for a limited time, the harriers NEED to expose themselves to you if they want to do meaningful damage. Punish them for it instead of of running away.
It makes the late game easier since they'll take take longer to respawn, and every time you kill a harrier, they lose the damage bonus from the generators, so it really is worth taking SOME damage early on, since they'll end up playing more cautiously with the longer respawns AND you've shown them that you're not scared of standing your ground if backed into a corner.
Oh yeah and I always focus Foudres when I see them, annoying little shits when played well. But your 'harass the boss' strat won't work as well if the WTE100 figures out what you're doing. In almost every game, I've chased some lonely harrier for a few seconds, but then I see on the mini-map that his teammates are bunched up somewhere else.
"Yeah I ain't falling for that my guy, I'll just go have fun with your friends. (Teleports)" Really the only time a WT should focus one harrier is if that tank has stacked damage bonuses, but even then its usually a better idea to just keep trashing his team and leave him with no support for a while instead.
I was literally beast last wafentrager event, idk why i was just shooting tanks into engine decks and had like 14k dpg and 90% wr, its easy to say that this new version was really the easiest one, still. Rep invil

Fun fact: in the newest Waffentrager you can shoot a foudre with the EMP... shell? idk, the one that has burst damadge, and it can disable its shield

This game has lost any little bit of identity it had left, like honestly at this point having a tank theme is irrelevant, you could replace every tank in the game with funny future armored vehicles or giant mech robots or some shit and nothing would change, would be even easier to arbitrarily balance it since nobody could complain about historical accuracy
The rewards for this mode were amazing. I got like month of premium from it.
Finally someone pays attention to the modes and explains them in depth, unlike every other CC who recycles content and reviews the same tank for the 100th time, or shows a replay where they farm some bots and tomatoes

This gamemode is stupidly simple.
With the Blitzträger, it's an autowin, and as a harrier, as long as you do 25k dmg per battle and keep your eyes on the map, you gotta have at least 60% wr

They can nerf the waffle all they want, a skilled player will always dominate no matter what.
I have never been put under 50% hp as a waffentrager. EVER.

Only time i ever got punished for leaving was this, ruins a paypigs game. They send a video of you to wot clown court and a jury rules on it. Popup on next login saying i was punished.
In the video its mentioned that overloading generators more then needed is not very helpful, but a few things that should be mentioned is that in the current version of the mode, when the shield is disabled the teleport and hyperion abilities are disabled which can loosen the pressure on the team. Also it is very rare to see in a game but the generators do actually have a max cap, I think its 8 overloads and past that the shield will be down permenantly.

It seems you have fallen for the voicemeeter mic baseboosr trap. I see this with more people where they slowly put more and more bass and keep getting used to the sound and thinking even more base would sound even better, but it sounds shit in the end.
Average damage is 700 not 750, Cool video but limited to only 1-2 weeks a year.

This is probably the most boring out of the special game modes, even with the pvp aspect. But the rewards are the biggest, in one of the previous years I got 2 tier8 premium tanks from the ~10 big boxes rewarded for playing it. Last time around though, out of the ~5 boxes you got I was out of luck.

Hey Chems, any chance we could get an onslaught guide? I really enjoyed the last guides on steel hunter, frontlines etc... an onslaught guide would be very nice for the newbies like me :)
Personally I like picking Thunderbolt and farming bots while my teammates fight the Waffle, it makes games super easy because you dont have to spend time killing bots and dodging the waffle when it's shield is back on
You forgot to mention that one crucial bit of information that the player needs to do before playing, its the same problem from what you preached on the steel hunter video. That being crank up the volume to max and enjoy the fking music while you beat the sht out of your opponents :)

When this gamemode ended i still had like 3-4 keys for waffle, but there was no point to play, i mean if u dont enjoy see others lose, then it has no point, if u did all the quests, they should ve add more refreshes to the quests
7:00 they did that alot in legacy, so as a solution ive teleported to the same spot where i am and they drove to me thinking ive teleported to them, that was an awesome clutch
