I grew up in the 80s in Carlisle. I used to go to the station with my grandma and watch these big engines coming and going. I was always taking aback with the size of them. I remember seeing the driver drop down onto the track to cross over to get to this huge engine that sat all alone. I will never forget when he started it up and hearing that loud roar as he brought it to life. So to see this content set in the time when I was a kid is a fantastic bonus.
I've taken tomorrow off work, so I'm dead excited to play this tomorrow (I'm in western Canada). Very fond childhood memories of WCML and the 86's and 87's. Would love to see WCML south in the BR blue era, especially the Class 310's
The 101 took me to every Derby match from about 83 onwards. I can’t wait to create a service going the full length both ways. There’s some nice long services on this route. Psst If you hear of any more UK routes on the roadmap, I’m trusting you to tell me 👍🏻
I'm mucking about in the 47 on Blackpool and West Coast South waiting for the hype train to arrive in Preston so I can route hop on over. Only thirteen hours to go. 😂
Lancaster Cathedral? No - that is the Priory! The cathedral is over to the east - but I did spot it when you panned that way. I could also see the Ashton Memorial. I grew up in Galgate and went to school in Lancaster in the 70s and what I have seen so far looks perfect... apart from Galgate football ground, which did not have a stand.
I was literally waiting, refreshing, for this to ‘unlock’ before I paid and got straight on it. This is 100% your fault 😂 Lovely stuff. You owe me £32.99. Except no you don’t because I used MS reward points for £30 of it. Thank you very much for the uploads matey 👏🏻
I think just trains should have a go at a 1980s/90s southern third rail route. We haven't had a third rail route for over 2 years I'm pretty sure (isle of Wight 2022). And we've never had a backdated one either. A route from victoria or waterloo with slamdoor emus would be amazing.
great video, looks great, I notice you use PlayStation and pc, does one purchase of each individual content cover both platforms as I'm looking to use on pc and Xbox, thank you
Hi @TinTin_59 you mentioned about a stream later in the week and any suggestions for content? You've taken on the challenge of freight over Shap, but I've not seen any CC attempt the steam railtours? Alternatively I believe the diesel railtour goes into the quarry? Interestingly I watched the TSTV Route Showcase video and Tom stated that although Neutral Sections had appeared in TSW before it had been bodged. According to Tom JT had been pushing(!) for correct implementation of Neutral Sections by DTG!
@@djcwey2402 tonight I am planning to be live. Either the Scotsman or the class 37 Gunnie cement train. Just trying to decide which and at what time. Will schedule it in the feed soon as I know
I had to laugh 😂 at the people walking on the road outside Carlisle station. It’s actually quite true to life. Carlisle is one of the worst places I know for people J walking across and on the road in front of vehicles and not hurrying up when a vehicle is approaching them, their whole attitude is the car, truck, or bus will stop for me no matter how fast it’s going. Got to be honest I wasn’t expecting to see that included on this dlc. Very realistic! 😉
The engine room looks more like a laundromat 🤣Sorry missed the live stream mate, unfortunately, had to go out to a couple of calls ( self employed coffee machine engineer ).
Thanks for the great stream. I was with you up until the first stop, so half hour or so, then I had to get Grandads taxi out to take my eldest Grandson to college, I re-joined about five minutes before you got to Carlisle and stayed until the end. Up until a couple of days ago I was going to wait until Christmas time to get this. But the more I see it the more I am being tempted to get it tomorrow. Whenever it is I get it I will be on the 87 first, and then some shunting on the 08 I thing it is, not really sure. Another thing I am tempted to get, as it is on sale at the moment is Fife Circle as I quite like the look of that. I will try to join you for your 6:30 stream, if I don't I will watch it a bit later.
not sure i could give this an 9 out of 10. Still no sign of any station audio to create an atmosphere. rail sounds fairly generic. still does not seem that even AI trains can blow their horns. its just another DLC that lacks that special word "atmosphere".
Worth every penny, thank you 😊
Mate thanks so much!!

This looks highly impressive, just trains are really setting standards right now for length and detail on their routes

Going to buy this purely for the route and the diesel locos.
I've watched several early access streams and I'm just not interested in the class 87.

@@tdurb0 ha ha brilliant. Another live stream tomorrow night I think, and I promise not to sell you anything this time 😂

They just need to carry on northbound to Glasgow now.
God I’m so needy
they put the 87 in and the mk3s but didnt bother doing the class 82

Thanks. Unfortunately not. If you buy the DLC's they are platform specific, so you would need it twice for Xbox and PC
this route looks fantastic, cant wait to get my hands on it tomorrow :D

Did you get any sleep last night waiting for this??
Slightly out of era (but so are the 40's) but I'd love to see a class 90 for this.
This route is bloody fantastic!
87 is a beast!!
Anxious bout trying to get it going and neutral sections 😂
Nothing to worry about honestly. I put my 87 tutorial up after this stream so that should help
@ ohhh ill have a look at that now
Thank you mate

Don't worry mate. If I hadn't have taken the day off, I would have missed the stream too lol

Hi can you tell me how to get the Morecombe route or does it come with the preston route tomorrow cheers
Yeah it is part of this Preston Carlisle route tomorrow mate. I will be doing a Morecambe run tonight in the live stream
Will this release at midnight tonight?
No - 10am on consoles - 5-6pm on steam/epic

They blow their horns as they depart in stations you will find
@ is that only entering stations or on the main lines also ?
