Thank you, the foam tapes can be tricky to find, my local has them in aisle 8 bay 1 but if you look them up first online it tells you what aisle and bay they're in). XOX
Thank you Lucy. I love your beautiful cards and how you explain all the techniques to achieve such a perfect finish. You have a lovely gentle manner and I really enjoy spending time with you. Very inspiring 🌹
Wonderful tips! Over the years of crafting I started with what I could afford! Now I use the better quality papers and brands and it’s amazing the difference it makes! I save my thinner papers for the neighbor kids to come craft! Thank you Miss Lucy!
A tip for using lollipop sticks to curl paper: hold the lolly end - still wrapped - as it'll be an easier grip than the thin, slippery stick. Especially if it's flat on two sides, like a flathead screwdriver.
Hi again Lucy, I really enjoy your work and how professional your cards look. I am inspired to be careful with the products I choose now and am really encouraged by the fact that some of the products you use I can buy them here in Aus and sometimes source from my local Bunnings store thank goodness 😅. So keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! Hehe I do love to share my lengthy research into cheaper finds, like glue and foam tapes from Bunnings as they can get very expensive when they're classed as "craft glue" etc. Happy New Year 🤗❤
This was extremely helpful. I’ve recently seen that you can heat your adhesive with your heat gun if you want to remove something. I haven’t tried it yet though.
I have just come across your videos, thank you for the content, I am very very new at card making, and all the other USA and UK videos are great, but I like to know where in Australia we can get items, I hate waiting for online orders to arrive lol
Welcome to card making Lynda! It's so much fun, I'm so happy you've found my channel as I have so many videos to give you lots of ideas. It is difficult to sometimes know where to buy things in Australia but Uniquely Creative are an amazing Australian company that have so many items for beginners as well as long time hobbyists, here's their link to see all they have to offer (or I have links to particular items in each video too) - www.uniquelycreative.com.au/?aff=57 I also recommend Scrapbook .com ( shrsl.com/4541v ) for all other items you can't find at Uniquely Creative. They are based in the US but my items took less than 2 weeks to arrive and their range and prices are great (shipping can be a bit expensive to Oz though). I hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions, I'm always happy to help. 😀🤗🌸🌼
Great tips, Lucy. Your borders are so perfect on your layers. I don’t know why, but creating perfectly even borders all the way around the card is such a challenge for me. Your work is so professional.
Thanks Kaylyn. I know there’s sets of rectangle dies that have dies very close in size to each other and that may help as you can die cut the paper and a border. Here’s an example of a die set www.scrapdragon.com.au/scrap-dragon-nesting-dies-rectangle-large-17.8cm-x?gclid=CjwKCAjww8mWBhABEiwAl6-2RVQ2ZaISb2SNZlRMxPoiAFH8-0dtDmPWbUAI4J_Byxgz0y3p7zNfbhoC-7kQAvD_BwE - I hope this might help 😁♥️♥️
I just came across you by browsing, actually. Your thoughts and experience are just what I have been looking for. Great cards. I wanted to let you know that showing and explaining was well done. Thank you so much for sharing. I have subscribed for more tips. THANK YOU
Thank you so much for your messages, I'm so happy this video and the fussy cutting one were helpful! Thanks for subscribing too, I hope you'll enjoy lots of my videos, they all have tips and tricks in them as well as lots of card making. XOX
It's been a while since I created that video so I went back to have a look, yes I agree. I love how there's always something else that can be put in something's place when these things happen, saves us throwing out our cards and it's great when it looks better, it happens to me often haha. I just did a similar thing in my cereal box video, I smudged Nuvo drops and had to hide it and it looked a whole lot better and brighter with the cover up! XOX
Hi Elaine, yes gsm is the weight (or thickness) of the paper. For example printer paper is only 80gsm but thick card can be 350gsm. If you’re in the US I think it’s often measured in lbs instead. I’ve just googled it and 1lb is equal to 1.48gsm. I hope this helps 😁♥️♥️
Hi Lyn, I’ve thrown out the foam tape packaging sorry, it lasts for ages so I don’t buy it often enough to remember. I did look on the Bunnings website however to see if I could see it and I saw one I think I’ve used before, here’s the link - www.bunnings.com.au/moroday-24mm-x-30m-white-double-sided-pe-foam-tape_p0057708 - I hope this helps Xox
Thank you so much for the amazing video and tips. I learnt a lot. I am going to try some of those tips out. I struggle with putting too much glue, so this helped heaps. Also, could you tell me the name of the foam tape you get from Bunnings? I am going to get the glue you recommend so I will pick up the tape too. I found some of those small bottles for the glue in my local craft shop.

Hi, I recently created a video reviewing 2 different sized manual die cutting machines and you can find it here - ua-cam.com/video/kQa-n3UZK-I/v-deo.html - mine have been great and they're the best value I've found. I also use an electric die cutting machine sometimes (Sizzix - shrsl.com/44s49 ). The electric one is quite expensive, last year they had a great sale on it during the Black Friday sales. I hope this info helps. XOX
What a pleasure to watch such a talented Australian 😘
Thank you so much for your sweet comments Roma. Happy New Year to you ♥️♥️♥️
Lovely cards, I will check out Bunnings for the thinner foam tape.
Thank you, the foam tapes can be tricky to find, my local has them in aisle 8 bay 1 but if you look them up first online it tells you what aisle and bay they're in). XOX
I don't like real thick foam tape or mounting products
Thank you Lucy. I love your beautiful cards and how you explain all the techniques to achieve such a perfect finish. You have a lovely gentle manner and I really enjoy spending time with you. Very inspiring 🌹

What a great idea to save some of your papers for the children 🥰. Thank you so much for commenting Susan, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video 😁♥️♥️
I would never thought of aquadhere as a glue! Thanks for the tip.
Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your love of papercraft ♡♡♡
Thank you so much!

Beautiful 😍
Thank you! 😊
I like the second birthday sentiment on the last card better than the one you accidentally scratched.

I think you should mention the importance of including an insert in your cards. They add a professional finish.
Good idea 👍
Great tips thank you!
You are so welcome!
Gorgeous
I cringe when your adding glue to the back of your sentiment on the card you just made. I’d have a big mess if I did that 🤣. Nice cards!
I was wondering if those tiny tipped glue bottles would be your help I think I’m gonna try them
Never heard of gsm, whats it mean is that weight??

What foam tape do you buy? I’m in Australia and haven’t been able to find one at Bunnings. Probably looking in the wrong place.
