Thank you so much Lucy, I really really enjoyed watching you creating all those different types of flower’s from one die set. Congratulations to your winner too.. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤ I would like to see some more flower making too please
Thank you so much for your lovely comments Mags, you stay safe and well too. I'll be making some more flowers soon as I've thought of more ideas since creating this video, so stay tuned for that 😀🤗🌸🌼
What a good idea to raise each set of petals !!!!!!and I love the idea of also alternating the way you bend the petals. I have learnt a lot today. Thank you Lucy for a great video. My favourite flower was the one you alternated how you bend the petals. Love and hugs Jane xx
Oh yes, great idea!! I did think afterwards that thick layers would create some beautiful full flowers so look out for perhaps another flower video in the future 🤗🌼🌸
They all look so beautiful, would love to see cards using these flowers, you have made me want to get my flower dies out and just have a play with them. Thank you for sharing and for all the inspiration. Best wishes from Brisbane.
That's so great to hear Norma, I'm happy it's making you want to get your flower dies out to create some. I'll be creating the finished cards soon for sure XOX
Lucy, thank you so much for sharing this brilliant selection of flowers with us. As a senior, i remember making flowers with punches but you have taken the technique to a completely different level. Amazed at the varied assortment you create with the change in creasing/pressing/rolling. Ill health prevents me from card making at the moment but after watching you here, am hobbling off to find my punches and papers. Thank you for the inspiration. Have subscribed, good luck with your goals to achieve more subscribers.
I loved reading your comments, thank you so much for subscribing and I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed this video and it inspired you to go find your punches, I love that! I hope you're able to create again soon, best wishes. XOX
I loved your message Gwen, thank you so much for letting me know you created flowers after watching my video, that's fantastic! I've made cards with the flowers now so look out for that video coming soon XOX Lucy
So glad I just found you. I’m loving these flowers and definitely going to try and make some. Just need to get the die cut. Thank you so much for sharing from another Aussie crafter. 🌸🦋🌺
Oh I love that!! Thank you for subscribing and I hope you had fun creating. Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy creating cards with these flowers, new video coming soon 😀🌸
You have no idea how helpful I found this video! I was just sitting here wishing I had different types of flower dies so I can create a bouquet of flowers for a card. Just goes to show you, "ask and you shall receive". I couldn't possibly pick my favorite, each one of them is absolutely perfect.
Ooh, a bouquet of flowers sounds so good and I'm so happy I've given you ideas to create it, that's fantastic! Thank you so much for letting me know, enjoy creating the bouquet XOX
I'm so pleased I found you...these flowers are so, so pretty. This definitely will change the way I do flowers . That being said, I had to subscribe and thank you for sharing this with us...Happy Crafting
I’m so happy you found me too! Thank you so much for your kind words and subscribing. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I have a video creating 10 cards with these flowers coming out in a few hours 😁♥️♥️
@@lillianmartinez1593 oh lovely, and yes Sydney is gorgeous isn't it? What a beautiful harbour. We're in Melbourne, Spring has just sprung on us which is very exciting. Miami is lovely weather all year round I believe :) XOX
I’ve got heaps of flower punches in a drawer and a few flower dies. Had no idea what to do with them, so thanks for this! Look forward to seeing the cards🤗
Thank you so much for letting me know this video has given you some ideas for your flower punches and dies. I've been busy creating the cards so the video will be coming soon 🤗🌼🌸
They all look so different but so pretty! Thanks a lot for the inspiration. I’m definitely going to try them not just for cards but also shabby chic mixed media journal covers. I’ll probably add some glitter to the edges. ❤❤
What a difference it makes to produce a more realistic beautiful flower by curling the petals and layering up using foam pads … no more flat die cut flowers for me …thank you for the tips
I've never seen this done before. Thank you so much for sharing. Who knew they could all look so different. Can't wait to see how you put them on the cards
Thank you so much Sandra, I'm so happy this idea was something new for you. Our little secret but the video is coming in just a few hours, there's 10 cards using these flowers, I hope you enjoy it XOX
I can’t pick a favorite they are all beautiful I try to roll them on a lollipop stick but never come out right. Will keep trying. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much. Oh dear that's no good, let's see if I can give some advice. Make sure the lollipop stick or any tubular item is a perfectly round shape, if it's not it won't give you a slick bend. Also, if trying to roll thick cardstock, use a pen or craft knife or something a bit larger as it'll be difficult to bend too sharply. I have done a few videos where I give tips and tricks on bending the items, I can't recall which ones now but I definitely show it in detail on the fussy cutting video. I hope this helps. XOX
I just cut a lot of flowers out and had no clue how to shape them. Have you made another tutorial on flowers? I'd love for you to if not. Thank you for all your inspiration
Hi! I have done another video where I shape flowers, and it's different to this video. It's about fussy cutting flowers and leaves and how I ink them and shape them etc, which can also be applied to die cut flowers like this. Here's the video link ua-cam.com/video/DuWcY24rNAg/v-deo.html - I hope this helps with your flower making, have fun! XOX
Thank you so much for your videos. I am new to card making so they are helping me so much! Those flowers are amazing and just the way you make them all look so different with a lollipop stick! ❤️ Just out of curiosity, do your cards fit normal size envelopes or do you have to make your own. Thank you again! I look forward to more of your videos in the future ☺️ x
Thank you so much for your sweet comments and welcome to card making! Yes a lollipop stick changes everything hehe! My cards are a C6 size (10.5cm x 14.8cm) and so they fit a C6 envelope (11.4 x 16.2cm). Uniquely Creative have this size card & envelope packs www.uniquelycreative.com.au/collections/cards-envelopes?aff=57 - I hope this helps. Oh, and I've created lots of cards with these flowers so there'll be a new video coming soon 🤗🌼🌸

You have inspired me to persevere with my flower making after seeing these beautiful creations of yours..👏What would be the ideal thickness of paper to use?
That's wonderful to hear! In regard to your questions, I would suggest thinner paper is easier to bend and looks smoother than thick cardstock. If you're doing lots of layers 100-160gsm or so would be great. If you're only adding a couple of layers then you could choose a 180-210gsm thickness. These are just suggestions though and I recommend testing different thicknesses on papers you don't like much and don't mind wasting on practicing. Have fun 😀🤗🌸🌼
Hi Sherri! Yes, this flower die set is gorgeous isn't it? Here's the link to it - Stacked Flower Die set - www.uniquelycreative.com.au/collections/cutting-dies/products/stacked-flowers-die?aff=57 - Any time you like any of the products I've used, I've usually added a link to it in the description box under the video, I hope this helps and happy shopping XOX

Funny you say this as I just did exactly that in a more recent video (ua-cam.com/video/f6-3z5oS5as/v-deo.html at 5.25 minutes)! I've also since found a piece of thick foam which I'm yet to try and see if that works ok too. Have a great day XOX

That's wonderful to hear! In regard to your questions, I would suggest thinner paper is easier to bend and looks smoother than thick cardstock. The flowers are beautiful. But won't they get flattened in the mail?
Thank you. I'm not sure if they'd get flattened in the mail, I've used good quality weight paper so I would expect them to still have some depth, especially as I've used foam tape in between. I would probably save these cards to give in person if you're worried about it.
Lucy, maybe you could add a mouse pad and stylist to shape flowers ?
Funny you say this as I just did exactly that in a more recent video (ua-cam.com/video/f6-3z5oS5as/v-deo.html at 5.25 minutes)! I've also since found a piece of thick foam which I'm yet to try and see if that works ok too. Have a great day XOX
