I have a dairy and a wheat allergy that has gotten progressively worse over the years to the point of just eating the same bland meals over and over or suffering through allergy symptoms just so I can enjoy a decent meal. Before I found your channel I was struggling trying to experiment with different recipes and hating all of it. so sincerely from the bottom of my frustrated heart Thank you for all you’ve created so far and I look forward to seeing more.
Dark chocolate actually goes surprisingly well with pumpkin; I use it in pumpkin muffins when I bake, so I'll have to try dark chocolate chips with this too.

Made the brownie recipe for myself, my picky toddler, and my mother who has Crohn’s disease. It was a huge success we all got to enjoy it! Very grateful for the recipe. I just made the chocolate chip one. I always made it with rolled oats without blending. Wow blending made a huge difference, and I used PB fir powder instead of peanut butter and it was amazing!
I made the chocolate baked oats and it was amazing! I made it as directed plus a smashed banana (needed to get rid of spotty bananas) . My husband and toddler devoured it, along with yogurt, fruit and pecans on the side. It also very filling! 👌🏼
Hi Andrew thankyou so much for these wonderful recipes. I made the basic mix using sun seed butter and added one and a half cups of blueberries. It was so delicious we scoffed the lot! Next time I'll be making the chocolate version and also an apple and blackberry. Might as well make good use of the oven. x

@@thenarddogcooks Oh yeah, the drooling. That gets better too. Ibuprofen is your friend - there will be rough weeks and less rough ones. It is such a godsend to have this compared to traditional braces (which I had as a kid), but there is more responsibility on the patient for compliance and success. We got a little pouch to carry a tray case and cleaning supplies when going out to eat, and an ultrasonic retainer cleaner helps a lot if you can afford one. It is a lot of mental load, so give yourself grace if things get overwhelming/frustrating. Over time you'll get a routine and habits that will help. I had to get used to not tasting as I cooked, and that was a bit frustrating, but a nice challenge (I"d taste at the end before serving). The more you can keep the trays in, the better your progress will be - it was nice getting praise from the orthodontist for being gold star patients. I'm rooting for you!
@@thenarddogcooks it's good.and easy. Add what you like no limit of flavor choice because barley is neutral in flavor . Pre soak the barley little add vegetables and seasoning and bake till slightly crispy on top like a pasta bake

Or ..use a small can of sliced mushrooms and also use the water in the can remember it's got salt in it. It's got a lot of that meat like flavor hidden in the juice a pinch of smoke seasoning and fresh garlic helps bring it out
