Most people who get to do this inherited some decent money, whether they admit it or not. Everyone wants to claim they are self made, but even inheriting just a bit is not self made. That’s most haunters, and that’s a fact. Pretty hard with zero inherited, and to anyone with zero inherited, I feel ya.
Just started following and love the videos. Great advice for someone like me coming into this and already has a business mindset. My fear is the end when you mentioned to have everything flowing so you can slow down at 45, and here I am turning 43 next month!

You lost me a little under 6 minutes in. Pointing out the debris on the floor the way you did, again & again, was pretty messed up. Treat people with more respect!
First off there was NO disrespect what so ever. You don't work there you're not around me we tease each other and goof off a lot. Secondly, leaving screws on the floor is DANGEROUS and honestly LAZY. Clearly you don't operate an attraction because otherwise you'd know that is just PURE LAZY to work and leave screws all over the floor for someone to STEP ON! In case you're not aware the screw can go THRU YOUR FOOT and INFECT YOUR FOOT resulting in a possible amputation of your foot. It happens. Lastly, it wasn't Nick who did it it was another guy and the following day I had a talk with him... I will NOT tolerate despite your comments ANYONE working for me to work smoke inside the haunt and leave a dozen screws on the ground. I could care less what you think because if you think that is okay you're a moron! LASTLY, pointing it out on CAMERA was another TEACHING TOOL to people in the business that you must ALWAYS be looking for things like this. When you discover them you need to POINT OUT TO EVERYONE its NOT ACCEPTABLE! People can get HURT! PERIOD!
@@Hauntworld I know a guy who got hurt at work because he was pushing a cart and a wheel hit a screw on the floor. Screwed his neck up and he never was able to work again.
exactly but I should be nice about lazy people flat out lazy people working and dumping screws all over the floor. I care about my staff and my customers way way too much to allow lazy people to think it’s okay to leave screws all over the floor. @@AndyBolton310
