Guys I lived in New Orleans Louisiana my whole life. 72 years. Moved to Conway Arkansas last month. Bought 3.5 Acres in the mountains. Beautiful State. I enjoy ya videos. Thanks
Yayyyyyy! We're excited to watch. We felt like we've watched everything there is to watch. Then hallelujah y'all posted a new one. Thank YOU thank you! We're also excited to see Johnny Wild joining y'all. 😊💕🛶🎣🦦 Woohoo!
You guys are so cute. This video brought back great memories of me and my deceased husband, years ago on the Current River in MO. If I ever get to meet you, I will tell you a halarious story about that. Cody, I'm so glad you caught that big fish!!!❤❤
This was a fun video. As I’ve commented previously, I spent my youth and young adulthood camping in Southern Missouri and Arkansas. We floated on large military surplus rafts, but so much is still the same. The rivers look unchanged (hallelujah), and we had the exact same trash bags 40 years ago. And get this: we also used Dr. Bronners soap. Your kayaks, tents, and sleeping pads are all MUCH nicer than what we had available to us. Your videos are like re-living those adventures. Thank you!
Such a beautiful area and the water is so clear. Looked like such a fun day, I really enjoyed seeing it. An added plus, it didn’t look like too many other people around.
Great episode and great adventure! I loved that Jonathan was in the video. I may have to add a kayak to my adventures. Cody, you cracked me up as you were trying to take your dip in the river.
I just love it when you share pics of little critters and plants..nature along your travels. Your comments are exciting, your recordings of nature are so much appreciated and when you have background music..always soothing. Never stop how you share your experiences with all of us.
The river kayak/camping vlogs are always my favorite. The Ozark streams here in Missouri is my get away. It's how I purge my mind. Can't believe it's June and I've not been out. So busy these days. I need to make time, I need to purge. ... Never been to the Arkansas side, but its defiantly on my to do list. The Buffalo River has been on my bucket list for years.
The remote designs bag!!! Love it. Something always goes wrong, just not always that early in the trip! Way to persevere and not let any of that put a damper on the fun.
Ok so y’all are at your take off location but I got so excited I had to go ahead and comment!! I’m SO EXCITED 😆 Cody, THIS could be the BEST DAY EVER!!
I LOVE this video (can't even tell you lost half your footage!). It made me so nostalgic for one of the best summers of my life kayaking the Elkhorn Creek in central Kentucky. The scenery and water there look so similar to this! And I LOVED the upside down lifejackets part. When I was a kid and my family would go to Cave Run Lake (Kentucky!) in the summer, my cousin would put his lifejacket on over his butt just like that and call himself Diaper Boy. 🤣 So many great memories are made on the water. ❤️
Looks like so much fun! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend you guys to try kayaking the Jack’s Fork or the Current River in Missouri. I live in Missouri and have kayaked these rivers for years. Beautiful!
So much fun! Catching lots of fish, body surfing the river. That looked like a blast and I would do it for sure. So sorry about the cell phone, but it's good you had insurance.
My throttle body is getting stuck open. I just got it out of the shop from having the transmission rebuilt, and now this. Haven’t been able to get out to record or do anything for a month. Thanks for sharing your adventures! ❤
The insects are loud! All part of the fun. I think I'm all caught up on your vlogs. I am so happy for you both that you have found your ideal lives. Utube helps us to see how much fun it is to get out there! Its New Years Eve in Sandpoint. Here go the fireworks. Sorry to all of the scared pets out there. It will be over soon.
If the river had been much lower, you would have had a LONG walk! LOL Great video! The Caddo is a beautiful river and camping on a gravel bar is something everyone should experience at least once in their life!
Your Arkansas river rules are similar to Montana where the river is considered public property up to the high water mark . Colorado and Wyoming say that the private property extends into the river. So when floating the river through private property if you land on the banks or even stand in the river you are trespassing.
OMG, THAT LOOKS LIKE SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!! I'm not a water person, but that doesn't look too scary. I'd try it, I think. Lol. Sorry you lost your footage. But all the rest was good footage!
I loved this! I can't imagine what we missed! You guys Crack me up! Cody getting in the water and Kelly splashing him 😂! Then Kelly screaming at the beginning of your float 😂! All around great video! ❤
Good video but might not want to use detergent in the water . Even though it’s biodegradable, it can cause all sorts of issues due to increased nitrogen. Looked like a great trip!😊 Thanks for picking up the trash👍
I was actually picking up trash the other day too. How can someone see something so beautiful and be like "oh this is a good place for my trash" even if it was an accident I do what I gotta do to go back and get it. SMH I actually picked up some clothes someone left. Drives me insane
We have a tradition for visitors to our province (in Canada) it’s called getting “screeched in” whereby you take a shot of Screech rum, then kiss a codfish. 😂 so seeing you kiss that fish didn’t phase me in the least. Lol
Can you recommend a good camping spot in Arkansas for a truck camper. A nice River with fishing opportunities? Thinking about heading up in July from Austin Texas in our Cirrus 820
That looks like fun! Never knew there's such thing as kayak camping. Do you guy ever eat the fishes you catched? Where do you buy those delis freeze dried food? Thanks for another great video
Are you guys from Arkansas? I am in South Central Arkansas and an awesome float would be the Ouachita River from Arkadelphia to Tate's Bluff. Would be an overnight trip but is awesome.
Hey guys 👋 What dates were y’all there? I was staying in a house on the water in Glenwood during First weekend of June. Wondering if y’all floated right by us? I have a video of those same gar! Water was pretty low.
Would love to take my grandson to do this. Where did you put in above Amity ? Are there signs to note the acess ? Thanks much ! The loss of the cell phone bites ! Lost one in the lake before , not fun ! Thanks for the video. I'm in Oklahoma so this very doable . Another one I'm looking at is the Mulberry river. Exit 24 ,east of Ft. Smith . Have ya'll done that one ?
Love the video, as always!!! BUT, Cody, question for you, why does your hair keep inching up? How short are you going to cut it? Is this your summer cut? Please let it grow back out. :)
Imma solo female vanlifer from Texas, I so want to disperse camp through AR, TN etc, but I am scared of what goes bump in the night! I have been out west in the mountains and desert for the past year. Have yall had any weird experiences with ? Sasquatch etc?! 😂 but seriously, I’m serious:)
Ok, I’m sorry but I can’t remember Johnny B’s UA-cam name. I watched it and was going to comment on his but I can’t find it. He mad the statement that there are no rivers with enough water to kayak in Ar except the Cado. I would love to invite you to come to Hardy AR and Kayak the Spring River. It is BEAUTIFUL and so much fun to kayak. If you come this way I would love to meet you. My husband and I would come up there and there is a beautiful little campground in Hardy. We could take you to the drop of point.
hey man, i’m having real trouble catching anything. i aim towards bass but can’t even catch anything, my most recent video covers my trouble. id appreciate some advice from an experienced fisher, i’m on long island ny.
Old like to do that teip,do you have any info on the outfit where you can put in and get a shuttle? Or do I need to make reservations? A phone number or so.ething, name of park?
Code man, it's bill back from Summerhill days. I have a ranch in amity am totally gonna do this. A few of my guys go on 5 day kayak camping trips every fall and summer so this would be awesome. BTW I messaged you on Facebook
It’s hard to watch y’all without it making me want to go camping!! Love your channel!
Guys I lived in New Orleans Louisiana my whole life. 72 years. Moved to Conway Arkansas last month. Bought 3.5 Acres in the mountains. Beautiful State. I enjoy ya videos. Thanks
The Caddo is the Best place to be his virgin float! Thanks for sharing some of Arkansas’ finest natural spots with the rest of the world.
Yayyyyyy! We're excited to watch. We felt like we've watched everything there is to watch. Then hallelujah y'all posted a new one. Thank YOU thank you! We're also excited to see Johnny Wild joining y'all. 😊💕🛶🎣🦦 Woohoo!

Memories, Memories, Grew up in Amity and spent a lot of time on the Caddo.
Awesome video! You guys actually stopped and showed your gear and just did everything so well. I'm glad I got this video to pop up on my recommended!
I love you cats!! The love cody has for Kelly and John is the sweetest!! Great family!! I love that John started a channel! Good stuff!

well, that was a super fun video! Cody, you were catching fish left and right, that was awesome.
Jonathan is a fisherman extraordinaire isn’t he?
Great episode and great adventure! I loved that Jonathan was in the video. I may have to add a kayak to my adventures. Cody, you cracked me up as you were trying to take your dip in the river.

Thanks so much for the recommendation on sleeping pad - we’ve been looking for new ones. Two ordered through your link in the description!! 😆🏕️

We love y’all’s channel so much it inspired us to make our own! One day we hope to be on y’all’s level and livin the dream!
Losing a phone to the river is a Caddon't, but material things can be replaced, and the thrill of the next adventure awaits.
The remote designs bag!!! Love it. Something always goes wrong, just not always that early in the trip! Way to persevere and not let any of that put a damper on the fun.
I feel your pain about late start times! Seems to be inevitable with our trips too but the Caddo looks rad! Time to add it to our list. Beautiful!
Kelly saying it’s a trashy day! I like to have died!😂 Then the life jacket, diapers!!! Who needs a tube! Love y’all’s adventures!✨✨✨
Great as usual. That looks like it would be so much fun!
It was a wonderful video good job Cody with catching all those 🐟
Ok so y’all are at your take off location but I got so excited I had to go ahead and comment!! I’m SO EXCITED 😆 Cody, THIS could be the BEST DAY EVER!!
I recover Golf Balls from our Local rivers. Modern artifact collecting and it really is a lot of fun and potentially profitable. 😎
What a beautiful area to float, and nice catch there Cody!
I am so ready to go camping, we have EVERYTHING we need except for the pads to put on our cots. 😊
That looked like a real fun time! Dr Bronners has some great soaps... and they also started making chocolate bars!
Love the floating down the river segment with the upside down life jackets! What fun! Makes me want to get back on the water..... maybe 😂😂
fun to watch your trip, the water looked great
Nice NZ made viking kayak!! Nice job collecting the rubbish.

Really guys this is probably the best camping kayaking video. Throughly enjoyed it!! Love this kind of camping!!!!!
Looks like so much fun! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend you guys to try kayaking the Jack’s Fork or the Current River in Missouri. I live in Missouri and have kayaked these rivers for years. Beautiful!
This video put a smile on my face!!! Great Video!
Need more of these trips!
❤ If you add a rope on the front of your kayaks it makes it easier to pull the boats when you have to portage the river. Great video! 😊
So much fun! Catching lots of fish, body surfing the river. That looked like a blast and I would do it for sure. So sorry about the cell phone, but it's good you had insurance.

You'll still put together a good One😎
Sorry that happened! Still love tuning in!
This was SO MUCH FUN!! I’m definitely gonna try the life preserver floatie trick. I’ve never seen that. And the fish!!! Good for you!

Wow how fun was that go back with a magnate to find your phone.

Very nice content. Relaxing and fun.
After watching your last few videos, I’ve been telling the wife we need to get some kayaks.
Great video!
That looks like fun! Never knew there's such thing as kayak camping. Do you guy ever eat the fishes you catched? Where do you buy those delis freeze dried food? Thanks for another great video
We do eat the fish we catch when there big enough. We order or MRE’s directly from the website
What part of the Caddo is best for beginners? And do you know if the water level is up or not?
All sections are great for beginners. You can contact Lucky Canoe rentals and they will let you know the water levels
@@CodyandKellie Thank you! We are hoping to go real soon!
Are you guys from Arkansas? I am in South Central Arkansas and an awesome float would be the Ouachita River from Arkadelphia to Tate's Bluff. Would be an overnight trip but is awesome.

Hey guys 👋
What dates were y’all there? I was staying in a house on the water in Glenwood during First weekend of June. Wondering if y’all floated right by us? I have a video of those same gar! Water was pretty low.
We went during the week first of June
Yep. Prolly passed right by… so… Hey Y’all 👋😄
Hey there. From South AR. Any idea about what places would be best to snorkel/get some underwater video of wildlife? I'm not too far from the Caddo.
Lake Ouachita
Thanks! Keep up the good work.@@CodyandKellie

We put in at the swinging bridge in amity. We have floated the mulberry and took out at wolf pen gap
Love the video, as always!!! BUT, Cody, question for you, why does your hair keep inching up? How short are you going to cut it? Is this your summer cut? Please let it grow back out. :)
I get my hair cut twice a year.
When will you guys be doing a meet and greet? We are in magnolia Ar and would like to come say hello!
Possibly in the late fall
@@CodyandKellie thanks!

Thank you for picking up trash!
If we can’t see the bass it didn’t happen. LoL
Don't they make a sealable floating device for phones and valuables?
Probably but then we couldn’t film with the camera on the phone. It would distort the lens.
@DOME LIFE I was thinking of when you were not filming, but maybe you are filming all the time until you edit.
No, not striped, that is a white bass.
hey man, i’m having real trouble catching anything. i aim towards bass but can’t even catch anything, my most recent video covers my trouble. id appreciate some advice from an experienced fisher, i’m on long island ny.
Y'all never say what Jonathan's channel name is??
