Really strange how people assume that someone can do something just because he has "a talent". Talent is just a little help, it only means you'll learn faster at start, it doesn't mean you don't have to work very hard. You like it or not, and personally I really don't, but this guy deserves all my respect for such an impressive performance and the hard work and creativity that had to be engaged to lead to this result. To dislike something doesn't mean you can't recognize how great it is.

@@lokithecat7225 I don't think that it deserves disrespect either. Obviously you don't have to pretend you like it or even praise it but disrespecting the person performing and the people that like that style just because you don't like it shouldn't be acceptable either. That's for all the people that like to say "this is absolute shit that's liked by /insert any insult here/". Not exclusive to metal at all. I see it play out with the most innocent of stuff, like cooking or even language learning. Many people think that their taste in music is the only one that should exist 😂

      @lokithecat7225 2 роки тому

@@divx1001 That's pretty circular nonsense, and my statement isn't "Disrespectful" at all. I don't expect you or anyone to "Respect" things that I like, but the OP says that it "needs to be more respected" which I disagreed with.
Just to make the point, let's say that "Being Rude" is a skill. Maybe it is an unpopular skill, like Shrieking into a Microphone. Does that mean that you are now being "Disrespectful" to my skill? Because your "Taste in Music (appreciation) is the only one that should
      exist"?
Should you be expected to "Respect" my talent, because I think everyone "Needs to Respect" what I like?

Quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite reactors! I just love your genuine knowledge and enthusiasm for different sorts of vocal styles. I highly recommend checking out Will's one take playthrough of "Of the Abyss", or maybe "And I Return to Nothingness", since in that song he's trying out a newish style of scream in the chorus that's meant to be more indicative of the melodic screams and growls he has in mind for future projects (at least according to an interview I saw). He also described "Of the Abyss" as his favorite song of the EP and the one that best captures their style going forward at least into the next full LP (kind of a blend of the ridiculously heavy To the Hellfire and the more melodic And I Return to Nothingness)
I'm absolutely loving your videos and I am absolutely subscribing for more! You do incredible work, more than most any reactors I've come across, in terms of actually breaking down the talent involved in the vocal art. WE as a band of the metal genre apperciate that vocals like this are being noticed. Theres alot of technique that goes into this style of vocal, as well as discipline and practice. Its also intresting that a coach can discribe excatly whats going on inside and still be fasintated on the sounds that can be produced. We defenitly encourage more videos like this because like Mr Ramos there are more talented metal vocalist out there.

Awesome, new Fairy Voice Mother video !!
Always love new videos from you. Your reactions are always so full of emotion and easily translate the joy that we all have for music. But your exploitation of the "why" we love it are absolutely mind boggling. Coupled with your ability to mimic, or duplicate what we're hearing makes you the best reactionary on the web, in my humble opinion of course.
I never miss a video, I may not enjoy the performer all the time, but it does help me to understand WHY they are enjoyed by many other people.
Cheers to you miss, love your work, please keep posting more magic for us to review!!

of all the voice coaches to review this, i think you're one of the first to actually explain how you think he's creating the sounds he creates vs just reacting to his performance. Also you freaking out towards the end of the song was hilarious hahaha. Awesome video

I love Will Ramos for starters. This was a great educational reaction. If you really enjoy him and his skill, he has a new cover, where he.... shows his other singing talents. I don't want to ruin it, but it's breaking the internet. I would love your take on his new cover Sleep Tokin - Hypnosis. Much love.

I'd love to see your reaction to the throat camera parts of the charismatic voice video.

You said it - Will is astounding. This kind of music, to me, is like an incredibly hot curry. Many people will perceive it as too perceptually aversive to tolerate, and react by flinching away. To those of us who like our food - and music - spicy, however, we appreciate and enjoy the nuance, complexity and rich character of this particular dish, and Will is one hell of virtuosic aural chef.

Once again you are the vocal coach champ.I appreciate the detail of your analyses and that wonderful growl you gave us.These extreme vocalists always amaze me with their abilities. Also pointing out that this would take a shit ton of practice was nice.If you care to see a east on vocals please check out Mike Patton. His range, ability and talent are unmatched. Can sing all genres well. He has fronted 6 bands and some solo projects and does voiceovers for beasts in movies and games. He has quite a few singing compilations live or studio of his incredible vocal mastery. He's on the level of Buckley,Mercury and yes Dimash. Its a rabbit hole that goes deep and goes in many directions. He is a rollercoaster ride that's hard to get off of. Thanks from South Mississippi.

Oh, this is such a wonderful reaction! I love how you can break down the party in Will's larynx just from hearing his vocalisations. I love the enthusiasm and sheer glee that shine through every moment of this video.
Will is an astonishing vocalist. In case you're interested, Elizabeth Zharoff recorded an interview with him a couple of months ago. At least do yourself a favour and check out "Of The Abyss" and ". . . And I Return to Nothingness", which are the other two tracks Lorna Shore have recorded with Will. Will has also done a one-take recording of the latter.
Also, shout out to Austin on the drums. Those double-kicks are amazing!

Great job with your analysis! I'm always impressed with your spot-on breakdown of the human voice. While I didn't particularly enjoy the source material for this week's video, I did thoroughly enjoy YOUR performance. Suggestions for future videos: Geoff Castellucci's basso profundo cover of "Ain't No Sunshine." It's had a lot of work done in post production, but his talent is undeniable. Also, if you're in the mood for more Home Free, "Folsom Prison Blues" will give you lots to talk about. Keep up the great work! You're a bright spot in my week when I see a new video from you.

I recommend the Slay at Home performance of Vintersea, because you will see and hear deep growls, high pitched screams and clean singing from the vocalist Avienne Low. In the video you can see very much of the different mouth shapes and the singing technique.

    HELLO GORGEOUS!
    I have a little project for you… a little request… a favour to ask you… a mission… should you accept it.
💿 LET'S REDESIGN THE FAIRY CAVE TOGETHER 💿
(Here's a lil video of me explaining all this stuff ft. several tangents: fb.watch/cvSPLUNPmO/ )
If you would be willing to post me a decorated CD for my background, I would be so grateful!! I will make sure I send a handwritten thank you postcard to everyone that does, of course. (Just leave me your return address if you want)
You can send me stuff here:
    The Fairy Voice Mother Ltd
    Box 119
    151 Trafalgar Road
    Greenwich
    London
    SE10 9TX
    United Kingdom
Please bear in mind that I can’t put anything up with swear words or obscenity like boobs and willies or whatever. Like, if you send me a picture of a penis on a CD I would 100% laugh but I can’t put it on the wall ya know. My Nan watches these.
Anything else would be terrific 😍 you know me anyway, anything bright and colourful would be wonderful. 🌈
Also I have something for my patrons and BMAC supporters. If you support me on those platforms, and you want me to post things to you at some point please message me a mailing address (via those platforms.)
I am so, so, so excited to hear from you my precious fairy voice children. I love you so so much and I hope you have the best week. You can do anything you set your mind too, I support you. You’re loved 💜
