Had stopped beading about 2 yrs ago when hubby had a stroke ; now I'm back to my favorite tutor - Stephanie, you are an original. I've seen many try to imitate your designs and they just don't have your talent. Thank you for your talent and patience and especially your humor. Here I go again!

I am so glad you suggested writing it down because I didn't even think to do that; I tried it without writing it down about ten times and just mucked it up so bad til I watched the whole video and listen to every word after a couple months break from it. I see my mistake now, thank God. I'm giving it another try, after successfully making your hematite bracelet. Wish me luck, I will need it. Thank you so much for sharing. You have the patience of a saint!

Wow! That looked so complicated until I saw you make it! And with one simple stitch! The different sizes and shapes of the beads are what made it look complicated. Awesome design! I can see it in other colors also! Once again. Wow!!!!

The camera doesn't begin to do justice to this necklace. It is just jaw-dropping stunning. Last month I attended a get-together of Kumihimo enthusiasts, and everyone was showing various projects they'd done. One woman pulled out this necklace, and there were audible gasps in the room....followed by everyone reaching for the necklace. :-) The woman who made it used different neutral colors (I think she added some bronze tones to the black/silver palette) and it was drop-dead gorgeous.

I so wish I'd found you 2 years ago. I was totally into beading but under went some serious surgeries. If I hadn't been in so much pain, I'd have used my beading to keep my head clear from feeling so sorry for myself. ANYWAY, you are a fantastic teacher!! Tonight I found you on a video you did 2 years ago. You're techniques are so spot on and again, if I hadn't quit beading, I'd certainly be farther ahead in my knowledge so thanks when you stop and do those beading for beginners. Thank you again! You do fantastic work and are simply a "fantabulous" teacher!! 😁

Thank you so much for showing us how to make this beautiful necklace. I will make it as soon as I pull together all the right beads. That is the hard part for me. To me all beads are beautiful and it is difficult for me to decide which beautiful bead I will use. I like using beads I already have. When I first started beading I used mainly Delicas, so I have a lot to choose from. The bead I want to use to make it bling and pop will be the difficult choice for me. Until the next video, because we are greedie little beaders and we want more please, stay healthy, wealthy, creative, and wise.

Also, thank you for the detailed Material List. It was easy to obtain the beads on line. I do not have a bead store close by and depend mostly on Internet shopping. It is a shame, because I love to browse and see the beads in person before purchasing. The pics on line are sometimes not true to the real color and shade. But I am grateful for what I can get.

Finished it a few days ago. It's a stunner, and not by far as difficult as you'd think. And it works up a lot faster than I thought which is probably ok in a normal time (as not in Covid season) but I was looking forward to have a good project to work on for a few weeks...
I guess I'll have to start an other one... or a BRACELET! Yes! With waves on both sides. Ok, bye, see ya! 🙃

It takes some time. Depends on how fast you bead and your skill level 🌺

Hi Stephanie, Another real beauty. I love this Dune combo and can't wait to start this necklace. I am off to Jo Anne's to get some more seed beads. Hope I keep to my budget. (that's a laugh. I wish they gave you something for being a frequent flier LOL)) You don't sound real good, Stephanie. Take care of yourself. OK?

+Alan Lepage Thank you! Good luck with the budget lol I know - wouldn't it be nice to get a break for all our trips to Jo Ann's?

I've finally had the time to watch the whole video through! The colors are amazing together and using delicas is much smoother than round beads. I have a question though: for the whole necklace to be curved like this, is there a need to do any reduction in-between the "waves", or it just curves by itself??
    TIA!

+Chr Living Thank you😃🌻 The bead sizes make the curve so to get the best result use Miyuki as I have. The 3mm work best using round beads as opposed to firepolished but I think they would be ok.

Hey, Steph, I am love'n this design. I was wondering how you count your peyote if you forget what row you are on. If I remember correctly on another pattern, and VLOG, you said to count diagonal beads from corner to catercorner. Is that correct? If I lost count of the first 14 rows, is this how I would figure out what row I am on? Thank you so much for this video. I love this necklace. I made this a long time ago and forgot about it because I went on to learn more fabulous designs from you and, I ended up giving the necklace to a friend. We were at a party and, she kept commenting on how much she loved the necklace, so I took it off (earrings too) 🙈 and gave it to her. I just thought, it's all good, I'll just make another one. But I never did, until now. 🙂
