    FYI - Susan suggests to coat the back of your rivoli with clear nail polish to keep the foil from rubbing off. Very good idea 😉

    I have to say this is the best way I have seen to put a bezel in for any piece I want to make...love that it is beautiful on front and back...for a single drop on a chain and it will look great even if it flips while wearing it...Thank you for sharing

      Here is the thing..... I am not going to wear it, much.... just looking at it while making it will make me feel so good, the sparkle of the crystal the sheen of the pearls, the glitter of the cut seedbeads, the gorgeous light blue color, then I can leave it on display wherever I find a good place for it, maybe on the bedroom fireplace mantle in a small antique dish or box. I am certainly not going to stuff it away into a jewelry box, unless it is a glass box.

    You have uploaded this tutorial 2years ago and as a novice beader, start beading last October, it was a quiet challenging from bezeling a Chaton TI make a beautiful ring. I replaced 4mm pearls with 3 mm rondelles (by mistakes) and the holes were so little to go through. I just had to go around 15/0 inside to get to next 11/0 seed bead to make band. All in all, this ring turned out so pretty. I always admire your design but it challenges me to make something beautiful/elegant following ur tutorial. Thank you for the upload. So much more to learn❣️

    Very lovely set! As an FYI, if the back is not covered in beads and there is concern about the foil, many beaders put a thin coat or two of clear nail polish to protect it. Use a bit of poster tack or the like to hold in place if don't want to get polish on fingers. This set is one of my faves you have done!!

      OMD OMD! Ive just got to watch the whole vid, I had friends pop in.
      Now, back to your video.
      WOW!
      OMD! OMD!! Stunning! Totally Elegant! Feminine! As usual!
      I love the little trick with the band, making the band sit up under the ring. Your band with the interlace weave for the uneven points in the ring. A masterpiece! OMD! The band sits like a domed band.
      Your colour combinations again..... Stunning! Totally Elegant! Feminine!
      I mad about rings, I have watched a lot of vids on seed beaded rings, and this is, in my opinion, one of the best designs and video tutorials I have seen to date. The other is your Tapestry ring.
      Stunning! Totally Elegant! Feminine! !
      Thank you!

    Hello Stephanie (hope the spelling is right; if not please pardon.) I recently subscribed to your channel because I wanted to learn this craft/art form. I have listen to many bead work designer's tutorials. Yours are easy to understand as well as being inspirational. Now following you I have been inspired to teach myself RAW. And just as you said in one of your tutorials, "once you get it". Well I am happy to say after two days of using everything in my sash from acrylic beads and sewing thread I got it. Thanks for being a fantastic Tutor

    I have done this design again and this time with 11/o delicas as I have discovered that 11/o Hex beads are impossible to get here in the UK. It works now and I am delighted,. I couldn't find Rivolis the right size and colour so used Chatons and found that as the backs are much smaller I just tightened up the seven 15/o without adding any in the middle. Works well, I wonder if anyone else did the same thing? Your designs are beautiful and I so enjoy your ideas. Thank you.

    Hi Stephanie, you mentioned when you were a beginner... Have you ever done a get to know me video or a q&a? I'm just curious as to how you got started in jewelry making? What did you do when you got discouraged to keep on learning? Do recommend taking a class? Did you tell your friends/associates what you wanted to learn, and how supportive were they in the beginning? What inspires you? How long have you been making jewelry? What's your favorite type of jewelry to make (rings, earrings, bracelets etc) hope these aren't to intrusive to ask. If nothing else Just tell me you've been doing this for at least 7 years and I won't feel so defeated before I get started . ☺️

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому +1

      Hello and thank you for your interest 😊🙏🌻I don’t have a q&a video but it’s a really good idea so I will put it on the video request list. Please don’t get discouraged! Bead weaving is one part learning and then lots of practice! I mean a ton of time spent beading and ripping it out and starting over! Patience is soooo important and most of all enjoying the journey 💚 I have been bead weaving for several years and my skills improve every day. Hang in there with me and have fun!!!

    I love your designs and normally I get there, but this time the hex bead surround was too big and it never fitted, I even changed the size stone, but it still fell out. I used size 11 hex beads, maybe they are too big? Really sad. What do you think I may be doing wrong?

    Love it, as always. Question: are there any seed beads that won’t lose their color?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому +2

      rose gaither Thank you rose 🌹 That’s a hard question to answer. The metallic bronze I use and nickel silver seem to hold their color. Most beads that have a “coating” might rub off in time. Duracoat is one that I have trouble with. However, Miyuki has a permanently galvanized duracoat bead that might last longer. Miyuki has a durability chart. Google Miyuki durability chart and you can take a look. Hope this helps 😃

    Absolutely beautiful design Stephanie! 👏💖🌼 Do you think this pattern will work with Toho's?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  4 роки тому

      Thank you 🙏 Miyuki works best for the round seed beads on the bezel. I have used Toho Aikio cylinder beads instead of Delicas and they work as well. The chain part - Toho is fine🌸

      shaustin22 I am still a beginner and the first ring I made with success was the Corona ring! I'll leave the link for you from her page. The Interlace band was pretty easy, too. But I think Stephanie has patience and makes it so easy and you just don't get frustrated. Give it a go and I'd love to hear how it turned out and I'm sure she would too....happy beading!! Xoxo

    What a gorgeous ring you created Stephanie! Loving the Bermuda blue colour. may I ask what is your experience with the nickel silver seed beads? I just wonder whether they tarnish as they are not duracoated or galvanized. I mean I will buy them anyway just curious ;-) Thank you for taking your time to share your talent.

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      76livika Thank you 🙏🌻😃 I haven’t had an issue with the nickel plated beads. I have been using them for more than a year now and no tarnishing or rubbing off. I have found that often the galvanized Metallic beads tarnish or lose their color. The Duracoat galvanized non metallic beads seem to hold their color well🌺

    How can I get permission from the designer if I wanted to sell this project after making it myself? I never really do more than two of any project (I have a short attention span lol) but sometimes I like to sell some of my work in order to pay for more materials so that I can do other projects. I certainly do not want to overstep my bounds or offend the designer in any way so getting permission would be my next step. Thank you and seriously thank you for being such a fantastic teacher. One of the best for sure!

    Love this project! Just one quick question...I discovered I had some unused rivolis, but they're 12mm (not 10 or 11 per the ones used in your video). Do I need to alter the number of Delicas initially used to create the bezel (I think you went with 26 in your video), or will 26 work with this slightly larger size?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      +Chloe Derraugh Thank you Chloe 🙏🌻😃 I don’t think the 12mm will work with 26 Delicas and adding more will throw off the sequence of the next rounds. You could play with it and see if you can get it to work but a 10mm rivoli or chaton is best for this pattern 🌻

    • @chloederraugh1761
      @chloederraugh1761 6 років тому

    Hi Stephanie, can you tell me the colour of the stone in the ring you are wearing? It looks lighter than the ones in the necklace. Also can you tell me the colour/number for the blue 11/0 seed beads you use as embellishments? I’m not sure if it’s just me but I don’t see it anywhere. Thank you for a beautiful project as always!

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  6 років тому

      +Louanne Fournier Hello Louanne - The stone is Aquamarine Swarovski 1088 - ss39 is the number on the package. The seeds don’t have a name or number on the tube so the closest looks like Miyuki 413F Matte . Opaque Turquoise Blue.
