Howdy, I was following your video and got the point of splicing into the factory wires. When I test the seat I have no power to the seat. Any solutions you can think of?
Well have you even tested the seat to see if the motor works ? Get 12 volt car battery and with jumper wires determine if the seat works. The get a voltage meter and determine if the wire coming from the floorboard has voltage.
@@quintenrenz6623 so what’s on the drivers side right now? Electric ? Does it work ? What had been on passenger side? Mechanical with a lumbar switch? I really don’t know where those body side wires go to? Maybe a fuse somewhere? Have you ever looked at gmt400.com? Great group with lots of info there.

@ I confirmed the seat works but the wires coming from the truck have no power
Uh oh, were you testing with the ignition in accessory ?what year model is yours?
@ I tested it with the ignition off and in accessory. It’s a 96 Silverado z71
