Kit Fisto sorted of weird-ed me out when I first saw him in "Attack of the Clones" but now I've come to respect the hell out of him for the kind of person he was.
That's the facet of Kit Fisto I've always admired, his uncanny ability to keep a smile on his face even when facing death. I only wish I could do that...
Its easier than youd think in like minded company. In the sandbox we got pinned down by a cross fire, literally just standing in the corner of the room as bullets cracked by through the walls, just laughing our asses off
I do wish they were a bit bigger given their habitation at the bottom of the ocean, with deep sea gigantism. You can say since they're humanoid they're just naturally really ripped I guess but the idea of a massive Kit Fisto smiling while stomping out droids with his feet is an image that will live rent free in my head for a while
One of my favorite Star Wars species due to their ability to breathe underwater as well as the fact that they all look like they have dreads Kit Fisto also has incredible voice acting in the Clone Wars
The timing of this video is uncanny - just about half an hour ago, I was watching a Clone Wars episode and thinking, "Man, why are all Nautolans so cute?" I have always had a soft spot for their lovely green tentacle-dreads and big, expressive eyes. 💚 Also, if you came from a planet with Glee in the name, you would smile all the time... 😉
Because Nautolans are partly influenced by other people's pheromones it can be a good indicator of how terrible a place is that it makes them act aggressively. Like that one Nautolan from the lower levels of Coruscant in the clone wars show.
I really liked how sassy Caij was in Jedi Survivor. Given that the only point of reference for most people, when it comes to Nautolans, is Kit, who never ceases to smile, I think this choice of specie really suits Caij’s personality.
Given how well-adapted the nautolans are s a species BEFORE technology became prevalent to the sea at such baffling depths (a vanilla human in that environment would probably get crushed from the pressure alone), i'm actually more curious about how they can still function so well on land.
Kit Fisto became a personal favorite of mine when I first saw the 2003 Clone Wars. Seeing him tearing up the Quarren Separatists and their droid allies was one of the reasons why I loved Clone Wars era media.
Me during the intro: Reads the description. Edit: "Keep the ocean out like it's supposed to be" is the truest statement ever. Let's have a count shall we? I counted 9 but I'm no frog expert
No, since they are amphibians, humans are mammals. It may have a humanoid shape, but they dont belong to the same genus and those cant be crossed. Mammals and mammals, amphibians and amphibians, reptilian and reptilian, etc, etc. They can still fuck each other tho, if thats what your asking, just no offsprings lol
Interbreeding between members of the same class, as in mammals with mammals, reptiles with reptiles, is difficult enough as it is. mammals & amphibians?? what even gives you the idea to think that it'd be remote possible??
That title an them smiles.. why does that remind me of some old TV commercials where they ALSO Constantly tell you about their "brilliant personality" skills, no skills an everything in between.
The Nautolans are favorite species in the Star Wars universe to this day. I would love to get some official in depth material (Nautolan Jedi show?) on their culture some day!
The description said there would be a lot of frog references. Bah! I didn't hear one Amphibia reference. 0 out of 10. LOL. In all seriousness, this species sounds cool. And if you're looking for another species to talk about how about the Besalisk, you know Dexter Jettster and Pong Krell's species.
@@michaelandreipalon359 Oh the Brave and the Bold one was really fun. I especially love that one bit where he basically did a sitcom-style opening where he forgot his anniversary and Black Manta was his wacky neighbor. That was funny.

I hate the way we phrase situations like that. Nice people aren't hurt by their kindness, they're hurt by the actions of others. That's some strange victim blaming ingrained in our society.
Honestly, id date a girl with tendrils, be it (i know im going to get one of these wrong) Nautolans , twi'liks or togrutas, something about them is just.... appealing
Haha..apparently many of my questions would be answered if I'd waited 30-ish seconds. It's odd that they don't have webbing between their fingers or toes...and it's also contrary to the accepted theory of evolution as well as survival of the fittest they haven't developed dorsal fins or a tail. Especially since as you stated they've been living at great depth for..eons was it? From our own indigenous examples( i.e. whales and porpoise and many other examples sea cows, sea lions etc which all were at one point terrestrial animals that evolved from forms very similar to Wolves, hippo ...amongst many others and who now only have vestigial legs and hips hidden under the skin. Then there's the questions..why do they have eyes? At depth it's devoid of any star light. What about their size ? Should it be far smaller due to the pressure..or far larger like deep water gigantism ? Well then I wonder if they look like skin covered skeletons in the deep or do they expand into a lump of gelatinous goo like the blobfish ? Yes that's a real thing with really disturbing images online. Most likely I'm over-thinking rather than accepting and enjoying...like the space battles seem set in our pree space race days when we believed that the cosmos was floating in Luminiferous aether or ether.
Damn shame he's an Xbox DLC exclusive in Battlefront II 2005, Kit Fisto. Not a huge fan of exclusive stuff in games like that, Batman: Arkham, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
One of the thew things that annoys me about Star Wars is that despite the huge amount of very unique species that exist, every species we see that lives in water, including ones like these that live deep down at the bottom of the ocean, have 2 arms and legs and can walk around and live happily on land with no issue.. it’s always struck me as abit daft and always breaks the immersion abit for me
The presentation of this is good, as usual, but man, almost all of this is just _dumb._ Even by Star Wars standards, this sounds like somebody's LiveJournal fanfic. And I know it's not your fault; you didn't write it. But you did repeat it, unironically.

I'll always know Kit as the "Green Lantern" Jedi.
If only he had a green lantern ring during the Sidious fight.
Which Green Lantern? Hal, John, Kyle, Alan, or Guy?
Oh, and will add the personality of Wally West/the Flash when it comes to Kit Fisto.
Which is funny since Phil LaMarr, Kit's VA, also voiced the John Stewart GL in the DCAU
@@jj_grabes That man sure knows his voice roles. Not bad for being first well known as poor Marvin from Pulp Fiction.
@jjgrabes3079 That's my reason why I call him that. Not to mention that he uses the same accent (it's most prominent when he attacked Grievous).

Kit Fisto's voice was cast on the grounds of "hey, like how he just smiles in the middle of a battle" so they made him Space Jamaican.
Kit Fisto’s greatest weapon in battle…
His prize-winning smile
😁😁😁
That smile…
That dammed smile…
Kit fisto's positivity is just one of the things that makes him memorable.
Kit Fisto and Plo Koon. The best "side" Jedi characters in the franchise
Would be so cool if kit fisto survived order 66 by going to a ocean planet and hiding out in a secret cave to hone his skills in hiding
I’d be very interested to see a deep dive into the Zabrak or Mirialan species. Although frankly any species would be cool.
Stay tuned! Those videos might come sooner than you think :)
@Alex-sv7vt oh, are you the writer? If so, hi! You do an awesome job!
Kit did not deserve his fate. At least he’s smiling from on high now.
I think that’s the reason why Palpatine killed him
At least he managed to parry and counterattack against Sidious, he lasted longer than Tiin and Kolar did. That’s saying something about his skill.
