We spend winters in Quartzsite, Az. and summers in Utah. We won't be coming down this winter until about March because of health reasons. But as soon as possible we'll be hunkered down and huntin' for Gold. Just happened upon your site by chance ! You have some great content so I thought I'd subscribe. I like your style and information. Keep up the great work, I'll be watchin' ! 😁😎

I got the fever bad. I spent 18 months searching and bought pay dirt to practice panning. It started when I noted the back sand in the washes by the house. Then seeing every indicator mineral from rusted quartz to shinny mica in the exposed areas. I ground lots of rock looking for free milling gold. I thought I could find that unclaimed spot. It didn’t work. There is gold in AZ but its under existing claims. I joined a club as you suggested and found my first color after testing several locations one day. Wow - went back 3 days later and many weekends since chasing those specs. The ground I found showed about 2-3 specs per Garrett sized pan worth of dirt. Spent the money on a nice Keene 141s and now have a gram of very valuable fine float gold. Prospecting can be an expensive hobby but well worth the fix each time the shiny looks back at you. Not to mention it’s a nice work out each time you dig in the dirt. . I’ve been enjoying bouncing around your posted videos learning about the dirt layers in the bumble bee area - gold moves when water is 20-30ft high. The rocker box is easier than panning! nice to see. Thanks for posting.

The rockerbox domain is up for sale so one can't buy this or look. Unless it's listed elsewhere. Was gonna check it out as am planning to go to Arizona to prospect this year.

I have a Keene 140, and A Gold Bug 2 and Gold Cradle on the way. Hell, maybe I'll start making some UA-cam videos too. Get a little Yuma Az gold action goin' on. And maybe a little Quartzite AZ. Good Gold mining history in these parts.

Hi swiftwater, here in Australia a lot of the areas and creeks are up and down dale so carrying a lot of gear is very tiring.Have made myself a rocker box similar to yours. Although crude as i had to make it out of scrap marterials as with a large brood of kids i can't afford to buy one but am keen to get one like yours one day.Absolutely love the concept of how yours works. When i am out on the creek it is just me and nature with no rushing and time limit on how much i can process in a day.I feel sorry for guys that feel the need to move material as quick as possible, relax and enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle, being out there is a hard working fathers reward for the day, great videos mate.

I got the Gold Cradle and so far I really like it. Best part about it is even if it rains I can still go mining! unlike the drywasher.... And it's not as noisy or dusty. But the one bad thing is I think it's a little slower processing the material.

hi ...greetings from british columbia canada ....nice vid using the rocker ....in the gold rush days up here it was used alot to recover fine gold ......we have very restrictive mining law up here ...no sluice in the river...no dredging ...no high banker run off water allowed back into the river etc ..i have a claim on the fraser river ...i use a recirculating system with 2 letrap sluices ... you can move a lot more material that way ...mind you ...i have woodworking plans for a rocker box ..will do it eventually ...make one and use it ....make a vid .... there is something to be said for old school in nature...no electrics anywhere ...thanks for the vid mickey miner

I have some pictures of a mine and a giant quartz vein right next to it. It's pretty neat. I'd like to send you the pictures. They're is like a 20' wide wash down the middle and the quartz extends to each side of the wash and up the sides of the mountain. it's really unique.

    Buzzard reborn
But not selling keep the miners rights. Or there will be no one to buy that handy piece of equipment you have there.. funeral quick.. immunity sound .. because the one horrible at the beginning, wind-in-the-hair.. talked to microphones hair.. wind Muffler would be nice..
Did I miss the close up.. the setup..of how you got that stuck in there and how you're getting the minerals loaded on it ..why not the close ups of actual action
    . Start to finish..
Gold Prospectors Ass.. new pitch man, good maybe better than the old Buzzard..KJ.

You could get a recirculating sluice for less than the price of one of those. I talked to the inventor and he would not tell me how many buckets per hour can be processed with the Gold Cradle. All he said was, "How hard do you want to work?" This guy just keeps talking in circles and won't tell me what I want to know. All they say is it's faster than panning. So is my recirculating sluice. Is it faster than a recirculating sluice? Buyer Beware! The videos don't even show how much material it can run in 5 minutes. That's because they are probably hiding the fact that it is slow. Even if the gold recovery rate is 100%, you still can't process very much. The odds of getting more gold increase the more material you move. It's just a rocker box, and I talked to a dealer in CO who said they were selling for roughly $1000.00 these days. For a rocker box?
