One note, The Queen Leech has his memories but James Marcus didn't revive anymore than Alex Wesker did. In a sense it's just a copy of the original that thinks it is the original, however the differences such as the duality of control and the changing of goals show that the copy is just that, a flawed copy that will become increasingly unstable and impossible to duplicate.
According to RE8 when Spencer ordered everyone who knew about the Africa lab killed he didn't manage to kill Marcus's student Brandon Bailey who ended up founding The Connections.
Brandon Bailey was labeled as dead in RE5, from a document that's implied to be Albert Wesker's "hit list". RE8 just implies the possibility that Brandon faked his death or at least only died after establishing The Connections.

He caused the T-virus Outbreak, turned the world into a living hell under constant threat of viral mutant apocalypse and indirectly bumped off everyone involved in his death including Spencer, his two students Birkin and even Wesker. Hell, William Birkin especially, died poetically under the exact same circumstances as his his teacher. While Spencer lined up the dominos, Marcus knocked them down the moment he created the T-Virus and the Queen Leech that took on his identity to do it.
Knew it eventually Oswall Spencer wanted complete control of The Umbrella Corporation & all of Ashford & Marcus's research into The Progenitor Virus & that explains why he was sent to the Mansion near Raccoon City, While Ashford was sent away to work on The Code Veronica Virus. They both were Spencer's Pawns from Day 1.

I think Marcus as a character was well put together. Even if we don't always see it in person the notes left behind display his personality and arrogance and intelligence quite well. And I love your videos man keep up the good work.
I liked the backstory of Marcus being one of the founders of Umbrella, his sick experiments and being killed by Wesker and William but the whole "T-Virus infected leech somehow gets human intelligence and the ability to shapeshift into its maker, thinks it's him and infected the training facility to avenge him" was stupid. At least most other things in Resident Evil get plausible explanations like the T-Virus being Progenitor with leech DNA, G being a mutation of everything injected into Lisa Trevor over the years, T-Veronica being T with ant DNA and so on. But the queen leech is up there with the "Simmons turns Carla into a clone of Ada" shit in 6 or Survivor saying Mr X's were created from the brains of teenagers just to overhype Vincent as ridiculously OTT evil.
It's kinda self explainatory, when Marcus was shot by umbrella's soldiers his queen leech got scared and and hid inside his body, Birkin suggested throwing his body in te pond they throw all te failed experiments (the pond did have a virus destroying system but umbrella overloaded it) the reason only Marcus came back was cause queen was hiding isnide hai body, that just revived his body, he took control of all other t virus leeches (like queen plagas, normal plagas)and started attacking umbrella
Actually the leech ate his body, including his brain, and because of eating the brain, it assimilated Marcus's memories, making the leech believe it was Marcus reborn
I always liked what Marcus added to the lore. He was the twisted genius who only cared about his research while Spencer only cared about its profitability. I ignore all the revelations about Spencer in RE5 cuz they just deflate everything.

Maybe it was mostly about money at first then as he aged to the point he became disabled all that mattered to him was immortality.

I hated all the godhood,human evolution motives and Wesker children plot entirely so I just choose to ignore it when playing older games. The fact that Umbrella was a front for Spencer to achieve godhood just makes everything less scary but I guess that was kinda the point since RE was becoming an action franchise at that point lol

I love re zero it's a great origin story of beginning of the end for raccoon city it gave us the first look into umbrella's history and introducing the partner system but most of all letting rebecca chambers take the spotlight for a time.
The lack of item boxes kinda sucked but other than that it's a great game. Way better than the reimaginings and the last installment of the good RE games.

I honestly wish they had expanded on Marcus and Edward Ashford in the games. I THINK Ashford is mentioned in like 1 diary in 2 games that aren't Code Veronica. I honestly don't think Marcus is mentioned in ANY other game except 0 to be honest and indirectly mentioned in 5 in the Spencer note you find where he mentions "two fellow colleagues that will start Umbrella together". But from what I remember, since like most people I played RE:0 twice when it first came out and never again lol..it's not bad, it's just frustratingly difficult and not the most interesting overall. I love that it deals with the overall Umbrella story and is part of the Raccoon Area's owned by Umbrella, but ya something about the frustrations of this game versus playing say the REmake. The best parts about this game are what tie it to the other games, Billy might as well be a blank generic sprite lol..he honestly has ZERO purpose besides helping Rebecca. He might as well have been a ghost that vanished after helping her lol, then it can all be tied back to the Cadou somehow haha. This is the issue with half-assing a game after making close to a masterpiece (REmake), they had so many other chances to connect the REmake and this since the proximity of their releases was so close. But ya I like the whole connection between the first 5 games, not counting 4 because I think 5 and 6 have more to do with the Umbrella story than 4 has at all (besides Wesker being in it and setting up Las Plagas for the 5th game as part of Uroboros and most enemies). I honestly didn't like 4 that much, I never understood the huge love for it honestly, as boring as people say 5 is, I think 4 is more boring and more frustrating (fuck you Ashley! lol). I thought 5 was FUN to play with a friend even if it had it's flaws like taking place during the day for 90% of it, not a single virus from umbrella was in it, just Uroboros which I guess was made partly with the dominant Las Plagas AND the T-Virus antibodies used on an infected person (resulting in a type of virus in itself). But overall, the big thing that saved that game for me was that they linked things back to Umbrella and Spencer with the Progenitor plants finally being shown. That was the original plant they found the base for the virus that Marcus would later turn into the T-Virus with the leaches. Which then Birkin technically created the finalized "perfected" version of the T-Virus after stealing Marcus's work. But Birkin also was able to use Lisa Trevor's extracted DNA to create the G-Virus which technically included the T-Virus alpha ver. (Marcus's original version), the 'main' T-Virus he created, Epsilon Progenitor Virus, the Nemesis Parasite Alpha's DNA after getting absorbed and Ebola I think they mentioned (so random of all things to mix in from reality). I find the G-Virus to be the most interesting of the virus's, it's weird to me they remixed it's Antibodies with the T-Veronica to make the C-Virus in RE6. In a similar way Jill's antibodies to the T-Virus helped stabilize the Urorboros Virus the Wesker's made (it's funny saying that lol...not a fan of Alex, don't like that retcon honestly). It's interesting how they retconned Lisa being the source of the G-Virus in the REmake and just HOW many variants of the T-Virus exist. The lore of the first 6 games (not counting 4) is my favorite thing overall about the games besides the nostalgia of playing them and being scared of a fully lit room and being attacked by pixelated Dogs (I was 12 when RE1 came out, cut me some slack lol). There are SO many variants, some I think are just dumb like T-Phobos (and Alex Wesker as mentioned), and the T-Abyss...although I see the logic in creating one that could be specifically used as an aquatic chemical weapon. The T-Veronica is one of my favorite, and served as a major part of the C-Virus. I'm glad they didn't pile a virus on top of a virus that already contained part of it (Like G-Virus + T-Virus in Deadly Aim...as mentioned the G-Virus derives from PARTIALLY form the T-Virus). The irony of ALL these Virus's is tha the MOST successful was the one given to the surviving Wesker's but I know the story of Revelations 2 and how she was sick so she didn't benefit in the same ways (Albert) Wesker did. But to be honest he pretty much was the ideal person that Spencer imagined, why not just make more of him lol. An army of Wesker's would not only be hilarious because they'd each say Comic Book Villain lines eventually all at the same time (I can picture this funny scene in my head), but seriously, look at him compared to any of the monsters you fight? He can think, and is technically a genius, super human speed, stamina, strength, endurance, and intellect. Like I get a huge monster is great, but someone that can go 100% unprotected and still take an RPG to the face a few times, only to be significantly damaged when his "equilibrium" was thrown off. This is why Wesker is still one of my overall favorite Capcom created characters. I like how cheesy he got, and I loved every part of every game with him in it (I love him in Umbrella Chronicles, especially once he gets his "revived" powers. Which on that note, I guess he had to "die" after taking the 2nd half of the virus he got when growing up, to become God-Wesker lol?...that was retconned too many times to be coherent unfortunately, so that's what I say in my head was what happened to him since clearly he had no powers in the original RE game or before that besides being a genius and Doctor technically. I haven't thought this much about RE lore in a long time thanks for making me think about all this, it defined my childhood playing the first 5 games (0, 1, 2, 3, CV) more or less. Especially since they came out from me being 12 to me being 16...ah, I'm so glad I grew up when I did. I don't envy anyone that's growing up now or grew up even 5 years later than me. It was so much better with tempered expectations then being blown away by these "huge improvements" at the time. That's what people don't think about from my generation when they wonder why things aren't quite as exciting. It's that we got too much of what we "dreamed about" and nothing is as exciting anymore. Oh well, at least people in my generation and older for the most part can appreciate that we at least got to live in the last true overall GREAT decade followed by a pretty good decade to grow up as an adult (20's in the 2000's). Sorry for the rant lol...nostalgia over the better and more simple times in the world.
Marcus could have destroyed umbrella and lived a comfortable life as a semi immortal leech man. He just had to want global destruction instead of just going after Spencer. I suppose he wasn't exactly stable minded to think that in the first place.
First it seems it wasn't fully Marcus anymore only his long-term memories and his behavior was controlled by this Queen. Second we know that for whatever reason it couldn't stand the sunlight and I guess it also applies to his transformations. So in the end it was a creature that had Marcuse's memories and a huge weakness that decided to go full rogue on Umbrella.
Would you do a video like this on the Researchers from the Umbrella labs? Their evil often gets overlooked next to Spencer, Marcus and Wesker, but they were just as responsible for the unparalleled suffering they participated in. They sowed the wind and reaped the whirlwind.

With Marcus, or rather the Queen Leech attaining his memories. To many he’d probably be the reigning champion of that hilariously over-exaggerated acting but the way I’ve personally seen it is that I’ve always felt you could make a slim argument that that was the Queen Leech’s natural way of learning to speak. What sounds silly to many listening could be it sounding threatening from the Leech’s perspective. At least that’s the way I’ve seen it. Probably looking too deeply into it though.
I thought James Marcus never really came back from the dead and that the Queen Leech just thought it itself was Marcus do to absorbing his memories, thought when Marcus Transforms into Queen Leech before it boss battle, James Marcus doesn't seem to be doing it willingly.

I remember when I first played Resident Evil Zero it was nice finally having the T-Virus Outbreak at the Spencer Mansion finally explained, before it was revealed to be the doing of Dr.Marcus's Leech Queen/Clone I'd always assumed that Wesker did it Lol, i remember thinking of how eerie it would be if some of the researchers at the Spencer Compound saw some mysterious guy in a white robe standing outside the Mansion, then suddenly He vanishes and not long after they get word of an incident that Has occurred in the lab underneath the Estate

he is unnecessary evil just a virology hobbyist, and he had a good intention or actual pharmaceutical vision which is to make a cure for every disease because he never want to control the world like spencer or to be powerful and rich like Ashford, for me if he has a long time to live for his research and financially backed up by the govt he would be a decent protagonist to me.

You use which/was in the incorrect tense ( something WHICH IS something is present tense and you follow that with “was” which is past tense. You also say “the following next ten years” which is redundant. Just say “the next ten years” or, if you absolutely must “in the next ten years that follow”, which is also unnecessarily redundant, but at least creates better syntax. “In the matter of fact” should be “AS a matter of fact”, etc etc etc. your presentation is so rife with syntax errors, improper grammar and misuse of relatively common phrases, I would need a lot more time to cover them all. But ya I like the whole connection between the first 5 games, not counting 4 because I think 5 and 6 have more to do with the Umbrella story than 4 has at all (besides Wesker being in it and setting up Las Plagas for the 5th game as part of Uroboros and most enemies).
I honestly didn't like 4 that much, I never understood the huge love for it honestly, as boring as people say 5 is, I think 4 is more boring and more frustrating (fuck you Ashley! lol). I thought 5 was FUN to play with a friend even if it had it's flaws like taking place during the day for 90% of it, not a single virus from umbrella was in it, just Uroboros which I guess was made partly with the dominant Las Plagas AND the T-Virus antibodies used on an infected person (resulting in a type of virus in itself). But overall, the big thing that saved that game for me was that they linked things back to Umbrella and Spencer with the Progenitor plants finally being shown. That was the original plant they found the base for the virus that Marcus would later turn into the T-Virus with the leaches. Which then Birkin technically created the finalized "perfected" version of the T-Virus after stealing Marcus's work. But Birkin also was able to use Lisa Trevor's extracted DNA to create the G-Virus which technically included the T-Virus alpha ver. (Marcus's original version), the 'main' T-Virus he created, Epsilon Progenitor Virus, the Nemesis Parasite Alpha's DNA after getting absorbed and Ebola I think they mentioned (so random of all things to mix in from reality). I find the G-Virus to be the most interesting of the virus's, it's weird to me they remixed it's Antibodies with the T-Veronica to make the C-Virus in RE6. In a similar way Jill's antibodies to the T-Virus helped stabilize the Urorboros Virus the Wesker's made (it's funny saying that lol...not a fan of Alex, don't like that retcon honestly). It's interesting how they retconned Lisa being the source of the G-Virus in the REmake and just HOW many variants of the T-Virus exist. The lore of the first 6 games (not counting 4) is my favorite thing overall about the games besides the nostalgia of playing them and being scared of a fully lit room and being attacked by pixelated Dogs (I was 12 when RE1 came out, cut me some slack lol).
There are SO many variants, some I think are just dumb like T-Phobos (and Alex Wesker as mentioned), and the T-Abyss...although I see the logic in creating one that could be specifically used as an aquatic chemical weapon. The T-Veronica is one of my favorite, and served as a major part of the C-Virus. I'm glad they didn't pile a virus on top of a virus that already contained part of it (Like G-Virus + T-Virus in Deadly Aim...as mentioned the G-Virus derives from PARTIALLY form the T-Virus). The irony of ALL these Virus's is tha the MOST successful was the one given to the surviving Wesker's but I know the story of Revelations 2 and how she was sick so she didn't benefit in the same ways (Albert) Wesker did. But to be honest he pretty much was the ideal person that Spencer imagined, why not just make more of him lol. An army of Wesker's would not only be hilarious because they'd each say Comic Book Villain lines eventually all at the same time (I can picture this funny scene in my head), but seriously, look at him compared to any of the monsters you fight? He can think, and is technically a genius, super human speed, stamina, strength, endurance, and intellect. Like I get a huge monster is great, but someone that can go 100% unprotected and still take an RPG to the face a few times, only to be significantly damaged when his "equilibrium" was thrown off. This is why Wesker is still one of my overall favorite Capcom created characters. I like how cheesy he got, and I loved every part of every game with him in it (I love him in Umbrella Chronicles, especially once he gets his "revived" powers. Which on that note, I guess he had to "die" after taking the 2nd half of the virus he got when growing up, to become God-Wesker lol?...that was retconned too many times to be coherent unfortunately, so that's what I say in my head was what happened to him since clearly he had no powers in the original RE game or before that besides being a genius and Doctor technically.
I haven't thought this much about RE lore in a long time thanks for making me think about all this, it defined my childhood playing the first 5 games (0, 1, 2, 3, CV) more or less. Especially since they came out from me being 12 to me being 16...ah, I'm so glad I grew up when I did. I don't envy anyone that's growing up now or grew up even 5 years later than me. It was so much better with tempered expectations then being blown away by these "huge improvements" at the time. That's what people don't think about from my generation when they wonder why things aren't quite as exciting. It's that we got too much of what we "dreamed about" and nothing is as exciting anymore. Oh well, at least people in my generation and older for the most part can appreciate that we at least got to live in the last true overall GREAT decade followed by a pretty good decade to grow up as an adult (20's in the 2000's). Sorry for the rant lol...nostalgia over the better and more simple times in the world.
Marcus could have destroyed umbrella and lived a comfortable life as a semi immortal leech man. He just had to want global destruction instead of just going after Spencer.

First it seems it wasn't fully Marcus anymore only his long-term memories and his behavior was controlled by this Queen. Second we know that for whatever reason it couldn't stand the sunlight and I guess it also applies to his transformations. So in the end it was a creature that had Marcuse's memories and a huge weakness that decided to go full rogue on Umbrella.

With Marcus, or rather the Queen Leech attaining his memories. To many he’d probably be the reigning champion of that hilariously over-exaggerated acting but the way I’ve personally seen it is that I’ve always felt you could make a slim argument that that was the Queen Leech’s natural way of learning to speak. What sounds silly to many listening could be it sounding threatening from the Leech’s perspective. At least that’s the way I’ve seen it. Probably looking too deeply into it though.
I thought James Marcus never really came back from the dead and that the Queen Leech just thought it itself was Marcus do to absorbing his memories, thought when Marcus Transforms into Queen Leech before it boss battle, James Marcus doesn't seem to be doing it willingly.

I remember when I first played Resident Evil Zero it was nice finally having the T-Virus Outbreak at the Spencer Mansion finally explained, before it was revealed to be the doing of Dr.Marcus's Leech Queen/Clone I'd always assumed that Wesker did it Lol, i remember thinking of how eerie it would be if some of the researchers at the Spencer Compound saw some mysterious guy in a white robe standing outside the Mansion, then suddenly He vanishes and not long after they get word of an incident that Has occurred in the lab underneath the Estate

he is unnecessary evil just a virology hobbyist, and he had a good intention or actual pharmaceutical vision which is to make a cure for every disease because he never want to control the world like spencer or to be powerful and rich like Ashford, for me if he has a long time to live for his research and financially backed up by the govt he would be a decent protagonist to me.
Ashford also wanted to cure blindness, people with missing limbs, it's his son who wanted to be powerful and rich

You pronounce “hereto” as hetero, and it’s such a simple word . You use which/was in the incorrect tense ( something WHICH IS something is present tense and you follow that with “was” which is past tense. You also say “the following next ten years” which is redundant. Just say “the next ten years” or, if you absolutely must “in the next ten years that follow”, which is also unnecessarily redundant, but at least creates better syntax. “In the matter of fact” should be “AS a matter of fact”, etc etc etc. your presentation is so rife with syntax errors, improper grammar and misuse of relatively common phrases, I would need a lot more time to cover them all. You seem quite intelligent and have a good speaking voice. GET AN EDITOR or assistant with strong communication skills and knowledge to help you prepare your presentations, and if you’re ever unsure about pronunciation or syntax error, double check to make sure you’ve gotten it right. Good luck in the future and keep up the good effort.
