- I bought a pc since the last video and I finally got around to making a video with it. This helicopter is stable enough that it'll fly no problem, its just the turning and fine controls that are difficult. It seems to go mainly in the direction that its angled to from where you took off, until you make it go forward. This is not ideal but it means you can still use the terrain for traveling to exact locations. The gyros are very new so there's more creations in development.

A schematic would also be very much appreciated, that looks fun to fly.
It's not the best right now. Clockwork just updated today, which should let me make it much more controllable. I plan on sharing a schematic if I get around to building a better one.
@@LongingRhinocan you instead show the general mechanics of the propellers? I'd like to build one of my own on a survival world but Im not good with clockwork and can't figure out the mechanics for controlling your builds.

This is awesome! such a slick design. Have they changed the gyro? Because I cant seem to be able to turn my helicopter by using a side propeller (it just moves it left or right, without it rotating the actual helicopter)
I have the same problem, I have read some mesaages on the vs discord and they say they will release redstone controllable flywheel betwern bow and aeronatics release
Currently, the gyro only balances pitch and roll. It can also lock yaw. Theres technically some more things you can do, but that's mostly it. In the next update, they'll allow you to tilt pitch and roll with redstone, but still no yaw capabilities. I haven't done much testing, but i know there's other ways to manage yaw with physics bearings.

How do you do the gyro system dude? I did use gyro and set it as center but it kept flipping over to the back when i turn on the top propeller
Make sure the gyro is below the center of mass.
how were you able to use shaders with all the blocks? every time i use shaders, all my blocks look weird
It depends on the shader, i tried a few until I got it right with Bliss shader

how do you make the helicopter go forward and backward?? I could only make it rise and turn
I used a netherite block on a piston, which unbalances the weight, and the gyro tilts it forward.
I can't wait to see a war (in minecraft) that uses create mods like this
i actually have a minecraft server that uses these mods for war! our first event is at the end of this month!

I think (I haven't tried it yet) that if you combine this with create interactive and create big cannons you can make a helicopter with canons/guns.

The netherite block on a piston moves the center of gravity. It tilts forward when they gyro trys to rebalance.

@LongingRhino sorry to revive this 3 weeks later, but when I'm trying to do this, it turns the block into a contraption which gets rid of the weight and makes my helicopter shoot waaaayyy up into the sky. How did you get the netherite block to move without this happening?
@@cloudex8127 I'm not sure why that would happen. You are using a vanilla sticky piston right?
@LongingRhino I have tried both vanilla sticky pistons and create mechanical sticky pistons, both with the same effect.

No, this is an addon called clockwork.

@@AMFNQTHSIt is the physics mod. I personally wouldn't call it an addon but it's required for clockwork.

Propeller in the back, it has a clutch and gearshift so it can go left and right.
