The thing I love about your drumming is that you use so many things to get different sounds, and this is where the real heart of percussion is. Most people are afraid to step outside of the norm with their kits and do something different, but percussion came from people tapping and rapping on anything they could get their hands on. This is where the soul of the music lies. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Music at its core is rhythm. If you speed up a drum rhythm enough it will end up making a chord haha
WORD to that. Anything that makes a sound is fodder for a beat.🔥
I wasn't ready for that Wizard of Oz with all that extra dirt.
Haha!
Its like Dimsunk has choosen the red pill 🤣
Thank you.
Always nice to see another upload from my favorite drummer!
Thank you for mentioning Yogi Horton! He was one of the greats, and doesn't get brought up in drumming discussions nearly as often as he should.
agreed! Yogi is a legendary groove machine.
Jump Jump Jump to it :)
Absolutely filthy 🥁🔥
Your snare sound is always more perfect than I thought was possible. It really gets me excited to mess around my kit sounds every time I watch your vids
More like Max Stands-alone
Oh that sneaky left hand hat. I'm working on transitioning in and out of that currently!
If a neutron star could play sick beats on drums, this is probably what it would sound like! Awesome stuff has always man!
90s boom bap 🔥🔥
One of the best there is
When Max turns on the nasty dude!...you have enough low-end? LOL
Happy NewYear !
Sheeesh, the second part 🔥
So dirty...

From 1:17 onward = Entering a new dimension through the process of DIMSUNK-ization. 🌪🥁🌪
😁
...
Wow so cool love the FX! Yogi is my favorite Funk drummer. All the "Change" and Luther Vandross' productions were always on top with solid beats. Thanks for mentioning him Dimsunk. RIP Yogi.
This is dirtier than food you drop on the floor but you can’t pick it up because people are watching
so much better with the dirt on it!!! :)
Thx Wend! Happy Belated birthday!!

Amazing! that mix was unexpected, always love when you go way in on that! beautiful solid feel.
Much appreciated!
Need to change your channel name to Damn son!
Shovelling that dirt in copious quantities.
Nitty gritty.. Far from shitty.
the distorsions are not nice. the rest is perfect
@ 1:39 I suddenly see Dimsunk slowly driving a convertible in da hood, while boasting Kurt Cobain-ish sunglasses.
🕶🥁🕶
😁
.
0:23 = Channeling for a few seconds the late great Clive Burr, a not-so technical drummer but who had a very nice feel. ua-cam.com/video/YWFCCwZ8tDc/v-deo.html
Clive has now been DIMSUNKed, he can rest in peace.
😁

Another great video- fantastic playing and sound. I hope that your work inspires some young players to develop their own sound. Every other player I hear on youtube sounds identical to one another: bland, sanitized, cliched and worn out!
Horton hears a what?
the sheer nastyness
