I am 57 years old and a financial disaster I am committed to learning how to budget I never have, my parents never did. My husband wants to retire in two years I want to create a new relationship with money. Hopefully teach my granddaughter about budgeting. She's 13 so she thinks I have a never ending bank account. This will be great. I'm excited and very motivated
Wow you're daughter is lucky bc when I was 13, I was fully aware of how poor my parents were and they did not educate me on finances. She will definitely be so happy when she's 18 and she realizes you taught her something not every child learns from their parents.
I am about to get myself and my 14yr old son on board as well. I was never thought these things and have been struggling over the years. Now 41 and I don't want to continue like this. I don't want my children to not know how to manage money properly. We are doing this!
Thank you so much for this video. I grew up extremely poor, so I've always been afraid to spend money. I've never really had the problem of overspending, but I HAVE had the problem of refusing to buy necessities like clothes, skipping meals, etc. It's embarrassing to go to work with stained, patched up clothes and holes in my shoes, but the (almost irrational) thought of being on the streets is worse than the embarrassment of 'looking poor'. Following this guide has made me realize that I have more wiggle room to spend on these necessities than I thought. Thank you so much. 💝
Hello and first I want to say thank you for sharing your story with all of us. I can see what you mean about how the way you grew up has steered you into the direction of being afraid to spend. I am so glad to hear that running your own numbers has shown you that you are able to let go a little and still be okay. What a great feeling that must have been. I hope to see you here on YT more often. Would love to hear how things are going for you. 💛🐝
This is THE BEST beginner’s guide for budgeting that I’ve been able to find on YT. Thank you!!! I am going to definitely follow these steps and watch the other videos as well.
I love paperless. I get text notifications, not emails. I log into my account ( it takes less than 1 minute) pull up my bill and screenshot each page. If it is as usual I will delete the screenshot right after I put it in my budget calendar. If I feel I need to, I will save it to compare to the next months. Thank you for the video!
So well done..and....totally agree with you about not going paperless for bills. I have to see them and touch them. I totally AGREE it is to save them money....especially if you have a question it is so hard to try and talk to a person to get something resolved.
Honestly. Paperless works for me. I lose paper. Sometimes it does not even get brought in. It certainly was NOT being opened and looked at. Being able to find it in my email and then adjust my bill-pay to pay it works alongside a calendar of when bills are due. And when I go to pay it, I would see it was way more expensive than budgetted and I'd go and look at the details at that point. The bills I have problems with to this day are things like Toll bills and medical that are NOT part of my process but I get a paper bill I need to keep track of. Even at tax time I appreciate how many places I can go and print out the tax forms instead of catching them in the mail.
Yes- those are all good points, too. We all definitely “see” things differently and have to do what’s best for how we see. I am glad you shared how you do it for those that just can’t do the paper way. 🙌
Love this help but 10/10 recommend getting reusable bags, I have some cute (some plain) reusable bags that I use every time I go to the store and that saves so much plastic, man. I also watch what I buy and it's packaging bc if I can get 1 small bag of popcorn kernels to pop myself, I choose that over the 5 pack plastic wrapped microwaveable bags. So simple but feels so much better, just bc the plastic issue can't be solved overnight doesn't justify going directly with that toxic, lazy flow. Thank you for your help ❤
I keep a running list in the notes section of my phone. I put ALL bills in order of their due dates. I don’t do categories. I just list all bills by their due dates and how much is due. Once I pay a bill I type paid under that bill. I have never understood the need for categories. They are all bills regardless how they would be categorized and they all need to get paid by the end of the month. I don’t stress and all my bills get paid on time. I have some paperless bills and I know when they will be coming out so when they do come out I subtract. Nothing hard about it. Everyone budgets different and everyone should do what works for them. I do like to watch and see how other people budget.
Jen, this is GOLD. I am sharing this with everyone I know! You are helping so many people and I want your channel to EXPLODE! Thank you dear! Have a FANTASTIC week!
Loved this. Thank you. Do you have a video explaining the month ahead in depth and how it works from start to finish? I get the concept of getting 1 month of bills saved, but not sure how it gets used and you stay ahead...or is it just like an emergency savings type thing...I'm sure it's simple to understand, but for some reason just can't quite figure it out. Sorry if it's already been explained and I missed it! Thanks again for these videos, they are so helpful.
I started getting into budgeting last year and lost track of it due to many moves and life changes and I’m finally ready to get back into it. Thank you so much for putting this in terms I can follow and understand. I even used the cash envelope system before, too, and plan on doing it again since I did so well with it before. Thank you again! I can’t wait to get on top of things again
This is great news! Don’t stop budgeting ! When things go wrong, that’s when you really lean into it. I have another budgeting video scheduled for today at noon EST that may be helpful for you! 💛
I just randomly came across your channel and I am grateful! I need to REEL IT IN! I have cash stuffed before kinda sorta, but need to get serious. Saw one of your cash stuffing videos and then found this one. I know how to budget, I just overthink it all, and this made it Ssooooo easy and I thank you! Grabbed an old binder, some of your free printable and rode out the storm here last night putting everything together. I DID break a no spend day and bought a binder for cash stuffing. When I did the budget, I found out I can easily meet an urgent goal by mid February literally just by sticking to that budget. I had been stressing about it. Subscribed now for sure, and the challenges look fun so I'm going to make sure to get there soon!
Thank you so much for your comment. I think we do tend to overthink everything, right? Anytime Jason and I have to make a decision, we jokingly say, “Let’s overthink about it.” 🤣 I’m so glad that you enjoy the content and find it helpful- that’s awesome to hear. I still haven’t completely figured out my budget binder setup - things are so different now. My last binder revolved around paying off debt but that’s changed so now I have to readjust. And overthink about it! 🤣🤣🤣
I'll have to look for one of your videos on paying off debt. I'm a visual learner. I have Ramsay's book but I spend all day reading reports and sometimes I can't make myself read more that's not entertainment (to destress). And I need to stop over thinking, lol
Thank you so much for this. I can’t wait to print out the free form and get started. I’ve never had to watch my money but after being a single mom making too much for any assistance but not enough to stay above water, this is so helpful. ❤
I was in this same situation for years. It is really hard to be in that position. I had to know in my heart that I could do it. I could do it myself. I had to push myself most days- but it was worth it. I fixed my awful credit, I purchased a more dependable car, I finally was able to buy my own home. The feeling of accomplishment that came with that is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I showed myself what I am capable of. I’m so glad you decided to start your budgeting journey. We are here for you- to keep motivating you through it all. 💛
Soooo nice you added freebies to help new budgeters ! One of the concerns I had when I started was the actual start up costs .. nice envelopes nice wallets and what forms did I need ❤any thing that encourages people to manage their monies ❤Glenda
My paperless bills on one is to reduce the bill, and the others I have text and email. That works for me because I use my texts and an email folder to fill in my planner with the info sent there and photos for papers I don't want to miss. It means I don't lose the cards/statements and can update my planner without needing that physical folder.
Me, too! I’m getting things figured out. I want to go over it with Jason and make sure we are on the same page. Money orders were the best, right!? Kept me out of a lot of trouble when I was younger. I was a waitress so I always had cash on hand. I would go get my money orders OR I would pay a lot of things in person, too!
@@2SisterBees I remember some of my bill companies wanting a cashier's check or money order, not a personal check, like for rent. I kind of miss the old days. Now, I work for a Credit Union so our mortgage, car loan, and credit card is through them. I just transfer my payments.
I am so glad I subscribed to your videos!! I'm learning so much, and thank you so much for the free printable, especially for myself, that is on a budget.
It was crazy! There was a leak outside - I showed it on one of my cash stuffing videos. It’s like some underground valve outside. Just full of water and letting it flow! 😭
It was crazy! There was a leak outside - I showed it on one of my cash stuffing videos. It’s like some underground valve outside. Just full of water and letting it flow! 😭
Money orders offer a tangible way to manage and allocate funds. This method not only streamlines budgeting but also adds an extra layer of security by limiting transactions. It's a useful tip for those looking to enhance their financial control and awareness.
I couldn’t help it - I sent a friend so many links to your videos and free printouts. I am hoping that not just I can get out of debt in 2024 and develop better spending - but that those I care for do as well. I’ll be annoying in 2024 😂
We just use a tablet writing paper, we put our paycheck amount on the 1st of month (payday) and the 15th... then subtract bills and then adjust from there. We've listed our bill by priority and due date in column of which payday it comes out of, then put any extra towards debt (the most possible), emergency savings (oil change, brakes and rotors, car repairs) a job loss, and a portion to savings. We also write on bottom the gotchas that we didn't figure in, car registration, bdays ect... then figure out. We've gotten creative for thoughtful gifts, it's not the gift but the manner that it is given. An within a small budget saved a little at a time. We can't spend more than we make... so... yes, either make more or spend less... We see where we're at in this moment in time, make a plan for where we're at and where we're going and reassess as needed. Once setup, it's an eye opener but easy and works for us...
Awesome! I did a follow up video yesterday putting together a budget binder here : ✨ Budget Binder Explained | Easy Setup | PayDay Routine | For Beginners ua-cam.com/video/sjAPcnwo1Qc/v-deo.html And I have a really in depth 3 part on Stop living paycheck to paycheck Part 1 here: ua-cam.com/video/YdW_35SGLS8/v-deo.htmlsi=pcfwl7P5lskqt2m- These may help you a bit more! 💛
I just subbed wow I’ve been doing it wrong the whole time thank you for the freebies and thanks for breaking it down like this I understand it so much more
I’m brand new to the hive 🐝 and I’m soooo excited to be here!! I’m 49 and in a few months I will be 50 😬 Thankfully my husband is so good with money because I have always struggled. It’s like money slips through my fingers. I’m determined to turn that around and impress my husband & myself that I can do this. Thank you for sharing all this great information. I’ve been binge watching your videos 😅 I’m going to purchase your budget binder basics to get started. I’m not sure if you have done a video on credit cards and cash back using them? I know using credit cards are a taboo in these financial communities but would love to hear you and your sisters thoughts on them. I’m nervous about carrying cash, especially such large amounts (maybe I just need to get over that). Thanks again!!! Cannot wait to learn from you all!
what if you get paid every Wednesday and have bills that fall before or after then? I definitely want to try the whole dividing everything by 4 and such I'm just trying to figure out a plan that'll work with doing that!
that’s a great question! I use the “spending last month’s pay” idea to manage it personally - so I got to a place where I had saved approximately one month’s pay, and then in every following month, I was essentially using the previous month’s income to pay my bills, which meant I already had the money to pay regardless of when my bills fell in relation to my paydays.
Oh nice! I’m so glad you liked the video! I have so many topics I want to talk about, just need to make the time! Keep watching- lots more to come! Welcome to The Hive! 🐝
yes to the no spend challenge,, I struggle with the order alot bc it's not working for my brain to get stuff out of? but the challenge could be a fun thiing!
I go between paying some bills in cash, but others directly from a card. HOWEVER I just started getting a budget binder, and using a calander to mark off when all bills are due, and which Friday's check pays for which bills.
Yes! It is a good feeling ! 💛 I never had a car payment until I started making a little more money and then I thought to myself, “ This is what I’m supposed to do now - get a better car and then buy a house.” The house - I did good on but the car payment… not so much. 😅

Yay! I’ve got bill increases coming early in 2024 but haven’t heard about any raises coming from work so this will help.❤ How would you do this if you don’t have enough to pay bills that are due this pay period plus try to save up half or a quarter for next month?
Hey Lena! 💛 I have a couple videos linked for anyone that needs ideas on how to get back on track. The only ways I know are to raise income and cut expenses. Not everyone can work more - so I really recommend selling items. It has gotten me out of so many jams. I go through my entire house, take pics and start posting on FB! Here is the video on selling items: ua-cam.com/video/9HoveXyE2D8/v-deo.htmlsi=LnSZQiz4mDUXJU9E Saving is HARDER than ever. 💛
Awesome video very well put great way to make everything come together instead of having chaos every month trying to figure out where the money came in or where the money went to I agree about agree with you in regards to the bank I use one that gives you three accounts as well one is credit builder that will increase your credit score automatically by paying your bills with it 2 the checking account and the next one is savings account and they also cover you in the middle of the month if you run out of money they cover you and they don't charge you extra fees at the the next pay cycle week or the month when you get your income again
Oh my gosh! I can't believe your daughter pays $250 every 5 weeks. I feel so bad for her and anyone who has to pay those astronomical prices to get their hair done. There's no way I would pay that. I pay $45 every 5 weeks and that includes getting my hair colored and cut. And I have very thick, very long (down to the middle of my back) hair. I'm SOOOOOO glad I live in the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin. Lol.
Yes! Some of these places are getting crazy. My girl is very reasonable- she’s the first one I’ve found in a long time that is and I’m sticking with her! My daughter’s salon has been steadily raising prices for the past 2 years. 🤔
I have long thick hair, and to color cut and style mine is around $300-400. I haven’t gotten mine done in a year because I’ve realized it’s too much lol. Going to let my natural color grow out until I find somewhere that can do my hair.. I used to go to Tony and guy- that’s why the price 🤦🏽♀️ lol
This is so cool! I had made a plan to work on my budget every week so it's perfect that you do this weekly!!! I'll do it with you!! Subscribed! Okay, I've following along and wrote it all down but I don't get it. How do I pay all my bills using cash? Do I get money orders for ALL my bills? Then I'm spending a lot on money orders, right? I'm really excited to do this because I think it will help me get control of my spending and pay off my debt; but, I am worried it's not going to work with how to deal with this cash.
Great video - thank you! I would love to not use paperless. Not sure about the US but in Australia they charge you an extra fee unless you use paperless. So it is a toss up between paying a fee (which makes me cross!) and having the paper bill in my hand that I want.
After my dad passed in 2019 I switched back to paper billing on everything. It was a nightmare trying to find out what bills I had to pay on his estate because he had gone paperless and I didn’t have access to his computer or emails. So until companies were trying to go into collections I did now about the bill. I still pay the bills online through my bank, but I want the paper bill so I know what is due and when.
I tried paperless for a very short time- just a little old school over here- but it works! 😅 I’m sorry to hear of your dad’s passing- we lost our dad in 2020, it’s still very fresh. 😢
I’m glad you like the video- It’s funny you ask about the entrepreneur tips- I come from a family of them. 💛 We just find something we enjoy, work hard and MAKE it happen. My dad never let anything get in his way and I watched him my whole life. Never bothered. Never took failing as an option. Just go, do and be! 💛
I didn’t get mine from Amazon but I found it! www.amazon.com/Calculators-Benkaim-Calculator-Standard-Business/dp/B0BP1N8ZKX/ref=mp_s_a_1_43_sspa?crid=1QUZLBWB9W0IW&keywords=calculator+big+buttons&qid=1702772956&sprefix=calculator+big+%2Caps%2C219&sr=8-43-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRmX25leHQ&psc=1
The part about averaging your groceries per month was easy to understand until I saw you put $600 on your monthly grocery expenses. I would've assumed that your average grocery expense would be $200 since you went 6x in three months, $100 each trip. 2x a month= $200. This is the only part that tripped me up. (as I was calculating my own grocery expense for my own understanding)
I think I was showing an example to just show someone who doesn’t know how to average numbers. I haven’t watched that video in so long so I’m not sure … but in the end, for you to do your budget with varied numbers - Just average out a months worth of your latest spending - it won’t be perfect but you’ll be pretty close! 💛
I love this! I do have a question. I understand budgeting, however, I can't wrap my brain around my situation with budgeting. I get paid monthly and it is a fixed income (Salary). My husband gets paid every two weeks and is variable (hourly with shut downs if there isn't enough work). How would you suggest planning for that? I really want to get a handle on budgeting in 2024. We have been married 20 years and I feel like we have never had a year when we weren't "just making it" (sorry for such a long question)
Hi there! This is a great question- I actually have a 3 part series on setting up a budget. I go much further into detail about variable income and other things. The videos aren’t super entertaining but they do contain good info. Here is part 1 and the other two will be at the end for you to click and keep watching. I hope these help you. ua-cam.com/video/RMTzY-1AbuY/v-deo.htmlsi=d10JeSegy-hAhv_n
Great information! My water bill is due every 3 months how should I plan for that and what category do you suggest I place that in? Thank you so much for your help! I'm so happy I came across your channel 😊
Setup a utility sinking fund and average what the last three pass bills were and take the average and divide by three and and save in an account or envelope so you have it to pay in three months. Works like a charm!
We pay $500 towards utilities every month. In January We paid $325 to the bill and put $175 into savings to use in the summer. Our bills last year got over $600 in the summer months and it helps offset by just paying the same amount every month.
ok so paperless isn't as bad as you think you can print those bills when you get them over email for you records you can also print the confirmation emails so you have proof it was paid not going paperless can cause you to not have this proof via confirmation emails.
I like paperless billing, However, here and there, I get a couple of dollars discount from different companies when I use paperless billing. a buck saved is a buck saved. hehe
I get the sentiment, but not sure we should be promoting paper copies if we’re also looking to reduce environmental impact. Are there other methods that keep the focus, but keep things digital?
My POV is that there are a million other ways we can reduce waste. If someone is struggling to keep up with bills and paying on time and/or need a more visual way to get back on track- staying with paper billing is a good option. I think it’s a good temporary solution to reset your mind- then once things are streamlined again, go back to paperless. It’s just one suggestion of many that could potentially help some of my viewers. Not all of them work for everyone- I do my best! 💛
Thanks for your content , so very informative. I’ve only recently began watching . When you say 10% for car (payment ) .. if I don’t have that expense would the 10% be registrations , car maintenance , etc ?
I would think that is up to you but it isn’t a bad idea. Car repairs, insurance and even gas are so expensive now. If you do the math, those things might come close to that 10%! I am not a financial advisor so I don’t want to say that’s what you absolutely should do- run your numbers and see what you think. Thank you for watching and I’m glad to have you here! 💛
HI LOVE YOUR CONTENT, FOR ME I GO TO 4 DIFFERENT STORE TO GET GROCERY😅😂, DEPENDS ON THE DEALS THEY HAVE EACH WEEK, I HOPE I'M CALCULATING CORRECTLY (I COUPON THATS WHY I BUY LIKE THAT)
If you are going to cash stuff your bills - make sure you are extremely organized with it. Have a calendar with all of the due dates written down so you can be sure to have the cash in your account and paid on time. I don’t stuff my monthly bills- I only cash stuff my variable expenses and things I am saving longer term for. If you are not living paycheck to paycheck or anything like that- you should be fine but still be super organized. Honestly- I suggest to new cash stuffers to start with just a few envelopes where they would like to see themselves sticking to a budget. Things like groceries, online shopping, or eating out. It really depends on what types of bills you have. Just don’t get overwhelmed- once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. I started with one binder and had probably 8 envelopes. You can ask anything else you can think of - and I’ll try to help. 💛
Let’s say you save $200 in an envelope in a month. I see it different…adding that $200 $400 $100 that I save in a month to MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT benefits me more each month BECAUSE Of the interest I receive each MONTH from the monthly DEPOSIT… INSTEAD of WAITING till the EnD of the YEAR! This is for people who save in the envelope system. I love the explanation of how to budget!! ❤
Well, yes. If someone wants to place savings in a high yield savings account, they will reap the benefits of that monthly interest. For me, when I first decided I wanted to pay off debt and save, putting money in a savings account didn’t work for me in the beginning. Mentally, I was still seeing money as “just numbers” on a screen. So, when my checking account would get low because I wasn’t budgeting very well, I would just do a couple little clicks and move money from savings back to my checking. The cash method ( because it’s so visual) reignited what the value of a dollar is. After some time, your spending habits get better, your budgeting gets dialed in- and once that control comes back- putting $ in a savings account is very beneficial. It’s the “getting there” that is the real work. Also, a lot of cash stuffers swap out the cash they have saved in the envelopes for “prop money” and deposit it once they reach a certain amount. There’s so many ways to do finances- just gotta find what speaks to you. 💛💛💛
@@2SisterBees yes. I get that! I use to do cash envelope ✉️ system Like $100 groceries $30 gas $20 cvs for hygiene Using also coupons and ECB’s alone with the $20, fun money $20 clothes $30 Eat outs . For hubby and me. I would then save up the money left in each envelope at the end of the week. If I needed more in one I would take it from another, made me not want to spend at all! Thats how I started saving so much. That year I saved over $5000 I have no debt besides home, which is low Built a home in 2017. We had already paid our land in cash, we had no debt. Put $52,000 on my home also The last 4 years we saved an average of $20,000 A year. Everything that comes in goes in savings Unexpected checks, anything, income tax return and etc. we over pain a dr. Bill the other day and got $21 Back, we deposited that
Where do you get your cash stuffer notebook? I can print the stuff but I haven't seen a notebook like that one. Also, I didn't see the link to your sister's video about digital stuffing, or however you call it. Thank you for your videos! Enjoy your humor and suggestions.
I think you mean the binders that I actually hold my cash envelopes, yes? Those are on Amazon. If you type in search “A6 cash binders” you will see many colors and designs. Glad you liked the video! 💛💛💛
Hi Jen. I am brand new here and your posts are so ultra helpful. I do have a question. Every pay period I tithe 10% of my income which is hundreds of dollars per month. Do you tithe and have this covered in a different video or do you not have that as part of your budget please? Thank you so much!!
Welcome to The Hive! It is actually part of mine, as well. Here is a video I just posted that should be very helpful for you. I go over step by step budget and I include the sheets I am using as a free download for you. ua-cam.com/video/dBRvWNfHLxw/v-deo.htmlsi=oNYzwnxDUyjEVtdU
Inflation is crazy, meal planning is required ❤️
It really is… 2 meals out can be a week of groceries! It’s crazy out there! 😅

I'm early 60's and need to start a budget since COvid and inflation has ruined me financially.
good for you for taking the Step to better yourself and make a positive change in your life.
@@midnandlinkforever and you lived to tell about it. 👏👏👏👏
This is THE BEST beginner’s guide for budgeting that I’ve been able to find on YT. Thank you!!! I am going to definitely follow these steps and watch the other videos as well.
I’m so glad to hear that! Glad to have you! 💛🐝
I love paperless. I get text notifications, not emails. I log into my account ( it takes less than 1 minute) pull up my bill and screenshot each page. Yes, ma’am! They try to always have a reason we should xyz…. But who is it REALLY for??
We’re on to them, Judith! 🤣💛🙌
The video was easy to understand and to follow. Thank you.
Love this help but 10/10 recommend getting reusable bags, I have some cute (some plain) reusable bags that I use every time I go to the store and that saves so much plastic, man.
Just to say, I'm 1:35 in and you've already got my attention and I'm feeling motivated :)
Jen, this is GOLD. I am sharing this with everyone I know! You are helping so many people and I want your channel to EXPLODE! Thank you dear! Have a FANTASTIC week!
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that !! 😍💛💛💛😍
Loved this.
I don’t BUT I will have to make one now! I’m sure you aren’t alone in wondering how this works! Great question! 🙌💛
I would like to figure this out as well 😊
@@2SisterBeesYes!!! Please I would like to learn as well ❤
@@2SisterBeesI would like to know how to break the expenses down to be saved per check when you don’t normally do it.
“Stewarding” just adding to the list. I loveeeee that list, it really just shifted my perspective!!!
I’m so glad!! That’s really what it is! 💛
Anytime Jason and I have to make a decision, we jokingly say, “Let’s overthink about it.” 🤣
I’m so glad that you enjoy the content and find it helpful- that’s awesome to hear.

Oh wow- thank you so much for your kind words. That means a lot. 💛
Excellent information and presented so clearly and easy to understand. Thank you also for the printables!💕
Awesome! I’m so glad you liked it! 💛
Soooo nice you added freebies to help new budgeters ! One of the concerns I had when I started was the actual start up costs .. nice envelopes nice wallets and what forms did I need ❤any thing that encourages people to manage their monies ❤Glenda
❤❤ I was just thinking about that, how this would be a great video to submit for a job on how concise and well spoken she is.
My paperless bills on one is to reduce the bill, and the others I have text and email. That works for me because I use my texts and an email folder to fill in my planner with the info sent there and photos for papers I don't want to miss. It means I don't lose the cards/statements and can update my planner without needing that physical folder.
I love how you explain everything
I used to use money orders in my younger years. I'm working on setting up our budget and debt goals for the coming New Year ❤🐝
Thank you for this video I was shocked how much I was overspending, 😭😭.. Im going to start making adjustments, thank you for the printables❤

Money orders offer a tangible way to manage and allocate funds. This method not only streamlines budgeting but also adds an extra layer of security by limiting transactions. It's a useful tip for those looking to enhance their financial control and awareness.
I think so, too! A forgotten way of keeping finances organized.
I couldn’t help it - I sent a friend so many links to your videos and free printouts. I am hoping that not just I can get out of debt in 2024 and develop better spending - but that those I care for do as well. I’ll be annoying in 2024 😂
Hahaaa! This is awesome!

I like this step by step , so useful ! 🤩 And I am the only one notice she has beautiful hands lol
Indeed I have noticed as well but stayed silent
Beginner is wild. I almost had a panic attack watching this 😭
We just use a tablet writing paper, we put our paycheck amount on the 1st of month (payday) and the 15th... then subtract bills and then adjust from there.
Once setup, it's an eye opener but easy and works for us...
hi thank you the infornation is great but my question is how do I get a month ahead and pay my current bills? thank you

what if you get paid every Wednesday and have bills that fall before or after then? I definitely want to try the whole dividing everything by 4 and such I'm just trying to figure out a plan that'll work with doing that!
that’s a great question! I use the “spending last month’s pay” idea to manage it personally - so I got to a place where I had saved approximately one month’s pay, and then in every following month, I was essentially using the previous month’s income to pay my bills, which meant I already had the money to pay regardless of when my bills fell in relation to my paydays.
old fashion cash budgeting, love it!
Yessss! Just back to basics. It works. 👏

Ridiculous
I have long thick hair, and to color cut and style mine is around $300-400. I haven’t gotten mine done in a year because I’ve realized it’s too much lol. Going to let my natural color grow out until I find somewhere that can do my hair.. I used to go to Tony and guy- that’s why the price 🤦🏽♀️ lol
I love my lady. Have had her over 10 yrs now. Pay $75.00 color cut and style. Thar includes tip.
Wow, I pay $20 with tip included to trim/cut my hair every year. The advantage of long straight hair that I put up to keep it out of the way.
I liked the word map piece in the beginning
Sweet! Thanks! Getting our money together involves so many things. I think we tend to forget. ✨

Great video - thank you! I would love to not use paperless. Not sure about the US but in Australia they charge you an extra fee unless you use paperless. So it is a toss up between paying a fee (which makes me cross!) and having the paper bill in my hand that I want.
Wonderful video, thank you so much
I hope it helped you! 💛
I refer to it as a spending/savings plan not a budget. It seems less painful.
It does! 😅
Awesome video, Jenn! Thank you!

I’m sorry to hear of your dad’s passing- we lost our dad in 2020, it’s still very fresh. 😢

@@2SisterBeesit helped a lot. Starting me on the right trajectory this 2024.
I haven’t watched that video in so long so I’m not sure … but in the end, for you to do your budget with varied numbers -
Just average out a months worth of your latest spending - it won’t be perfect but you’ll be pretty close!

Great information! My water bill is due every 3 months how should I plan for that and what category do you suggest I place that in? Thank you so much for your help! I'm so happy I came across your channel 😊
I would overestimate how much I thought it was going to be and divide by three, setting that amount aside every month 🙂
I like paperless billing, However, here and there, I get a couple of dollars discount from different companies when I use paperless billing. a buck saved is a buck saved. hehe
As long as it works for you- that’s what you should stick with. 💛
Love this video. You caught me off guard when you said Publix. I forgot you are a Florida gal. 😂 How are you coping without a pub sub available? 😊
It’s a struggle! Every time April says she is getting one- the green eyed monster comes out! 🤣🤣
Great video and thank you for the freebies.. april
You are so welcome! 💛
HI LOVE YOUR CONTENT, FOR ME I GO TO 4 DIFFERENT STORE TO GET GROCERY😅😂, DEPENDS ON THE DEALS THEY HAVE EACH WEEK, I HOPE I'M CALCULATING CORRECTLY (I COUPON THATS WHY I BUY LIKE THAT)
That’s awesome! I finally have an Aldi close and I want to go in there and see the prices !
Also, did you watch Queenpins on Netflix? Great movie!!
So if I start this on Friday, do I go ahead and pay the bills due this week and only cash stuff for the rest of my monthly bills?
I see it different…adding that $200 $400 $100 that I save in a month to MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT benefits me more each month BECAUSE
Of the interest I receive each MONTH from the monthly DEPOSIT… INSTEAD of WAITING till the EnD of the YEAR!
I get that! I use to do cash envelope ✉️ system
Like $100 groceries $30 gas $20 cvs for hygiene
Using also coupons and ECB’s alone with the $20, fun money $20 clothes $30
Eat outs .
For hubby and me. I would then save up the money left in each envelope at the end of the week. If I needed more in one I would take it from another, made me not want to spend at all! Thats how I started saving so much. That year I saved over $5000
I have no debt besides home, which is low
Built a home in 2017. We had already paid our land in cash, we had no debt.
Put $52,000 on my home also
The last 4 years we saved an average of $20,000
A year. Everything that comes in goes in savings
Unexpected checks, anything, income tax return and etc.
we over pain a dr. Bill the other day and got $21
Back, we deposited that
How do you get this started when you have different bills due each week?
Thank you so much
I hope it was helpful - 💛💛💛
