    Jenn, you’re Amazing! You saved my and my partner’s life. We didn’t know where our money went and we always lived month for month (In Bulgaria we get paid once a month) and we never saved. After watching you and other UA-camrs for a month we’ve decided to go cash stuffing and take our finances in order. For just two months we were able to save our month ahead which I am so proud of and we are on our way to save our 1k emergency fund. At the beginning of the year we plan to start saving for a second month ahead😇 and all of this thanks to you!!!! I would be forever thankful. Please keep going and giving hope to people who are struggling financially. We love you❤
    P.s. I shared you and your tips to a friend of mine and she’ll start cash stuffing as well🥰

    Oh my gosh, Jenn! The saddest thing happened here. My oldest son and daughter-in-law have really good sweet friends with 2 beautiful teenage girls. The dad hasn’t been able to find a good job here so he was going out of state to work, and on his way to Arkansas in the wee hours yesterday morning he was killed after falling asleep at the wheel. We are all in shock and mourning and I feel horrible that he was having to go to work to support his family and now they have to live without him. We are trying to rally around her and the girls with a meal train and a GoFundMe account, but it breaks my heart that this young family lost so much!! 😭 This is the story of so many families nowadays trying to make a living, support and love on their families the best they can. Please pray for them!!!

    Finally! It seems simple enough but actually writing down each bill and when due, and then selecting the biweekly pay cheque (canada, eh?) it will be paid out of has made everything so much clearer!! I could easily see that I was going to be short the first pay period of the month, so I rejigged a couple of bills before utter confusion hit (ie, where did all my money go?). As a bonus, I built $490 in my emergency fund in just FOUR days! $150 was stashed in the heat duct (really), $100 was a Visa gift card and the rest I found in old bank accounts I hadn't used in years.... cashed out and closed. Amazing what you can achieve when you focus a bit and get some guidance. Thank you!

    ??? Next budgeting question! Thank you for answering my last one - I set up a checking account like your daughter did that is just for bills, and I changed my direct deposit for the amount each week I need in there to cover those! I don't have to worry about getting back to the bank in time for the bills to come out now! Now...since I am seeing the biweekly budget this week, do you suggest doing that for families who have one weekly payroll spouse, and one biweekly payroll spouse? I'm weekly, so I would just save up both paychecks to cash stuff on the weeks that my husband gets paid?

    Jenn, my husband gets paid biweekly, then we receive a monthly disability payment, and a rent payment (as we own an apartment that we rent out). We get the rental payment and the disability payment once a month, then the employer payment biweekly. I usually save up that biweekly pay for the following month and use all of that for the next months budget. Is this the best way to do things? It seems to work well for us, but just thought I'd check?

    Jenn, this one is so helpful. My mom taught me the envelope method when I was in my 20's ( I am now 56), but applying it when and how has been confusing for me. I like your method of leaving the fixed expenses in the bank and the rest comes out. Now to stick to my budget! How do you keep from going over budget at the grocery store?

    • @2SisterBees
      @2SisterBees  5 місяців тому +1

      I have a video on saving at the grocery store - but honestly, it’s been - looking at what I have, then meal planning from that. It’s the #1 way to save- in my opinion. I also really like using “scan and go” because it adds up your total for checkout. If it’s too high- take stuff out of the cart! I just did this. I took out $100 worth of groceries.

      I’m not sure why you’re thinking that makes a difference. You would still do everything the same on the budget sheet.

    Another HUGE difference between biweekly and bimonthly is that biweekly is constantly paying for different bills or a fluctuating total each pay period because the due dates are shifting which days they come out each month.

      Yes- that is very true. I was paid biweekly for YEARS. It will definitely keep you on point with knowing your due dates.
