For anyone reading this. Don't go for legendary gear from captains until you're already level 60+ otherwise you'll have to spend all your coins bringing the gear up to your level. You don't need legendary gear to get through the story or kill most people since a lot more useful at the end of the game when you're just grinding for ranks
Not to mention the challenges, which can be a bit of a grind since they are very rng dependent. I'm hoping to make a guide for getting all legendary gear as well as another one for at least 5-10 builds for the end game, as I've seen a few people share some really powerful combinations.
I know that fr my mistake in my last save where I get like all of the sets at like 40 I did a new save to get the secret ending and I'm not going to make that mistake
Seriously in the endgame, get the necromancer gear that allows infinite waters of lothlorien (excuse my spelling). Spam stealth kill chains and ground executions and sink all your points into boosting might generation. Overuse of terrorise assassinations is OP for getting to might abilities. Resurrect leftover orcs with the AOE raise dead ability and bam, the majority of orcs you kill will resurrect and you have a nice, easy to create, army of zombies :)

The best way to get exp is something I've already made a video about, find a fort with a level 60 to 80 overlord who's easily exploitable by weaknesses, along with that having little to no outer defenses. Level 60+ overlord gives the most exp by the end of the siege
Forts are by far the best method for xp, I gave a brief overview of online sieges and recommend using friendly sieges, since theres no risk of losing followers and you still get the xp.
I noticed that as well, level 80 overlords giving up to 100k xp. Only problem with that is they can one shot you and have increased health. So I always match with my current level and just scale as I level up. I definitely think more skilled players will be able to take advantage of the higher level fortresses. I be sure to include that information on a guide detailing online sieges soon.

Nemesis missions and death threats are fine enough, I'm getting around 2-3 levels per hour there in late game (67 lvl). Also epic gear which is useful and can be sold for 600-700 each so it's like 7000 miriam/hour farm too if I sell it. I have my forts full of legendary orcs waiting for lvl80 to slaughter so fort is no go for me.
I've also been doing nemesis missions. I don't wanna lose any orcs with a online siege. Since nemesis missions are short they're easy to farm especially since you can create your own with your orcs. Set up a 1v4 and watch the enemy orc get obliterated in 10 seconds.
Since the release of this video I've discovered that your own fort can be optimized so that it can be completed quicker, even if it takes some time to set up, another alternative I found was just find a fortress with a high level overlord with minimal warchiefs, since it will be a lot faster, not to mention if you have assault leaders with upgrades, you could easily conceive a sub four minute capture.

Everybody is saying like " Find a fortress with: " but aren't those selected for you in ranked play??? I wanted to attack a selected fort while my captains and myself were at lvl 55 and IMO I had a pretty solid attack build and rating. This guy that was selected for me had all of his legendary captains at lvl 80 but didn't select any of his defenses to lower his defense rating so it would match with a lower lvl competitor like me. I'm afraid this guy will still crush me and my Warchiefs cuz of the lvl difference and possible bodyguards that can't be seen before starting the siege. Does this mean that I have no other choice to take the risk to attack a weak fort with high lvl Orcs, or is there another way to find another fort that is evenly matched with mine, in the same region? I tried using lower lvled captains or de-selecting some fort perks to lower my rank but that doesn't help. It keeps selecting me to the same guy......

Hello, I wanted to ask if you can reload a previous save game because I accidentally killed an uruk, which I really didn't want, does anyone know how?!
Unfortunately you can reload saves, although I'm not sure if the game has backups or cloud saves, so you might want to look that up. But most orcs will respawn throughout your playthrough, so I wouldn't get to attached to orcs either, as they have a very high probability of dying or betraying you. But if you manage to find a way to fix your saves I wouldn't discourage you from trying, as some orcs are rare and can only spawn once.

And for your information, the uruk I accidentally killed was one I wanted to strengthen by killing me or by driving him crazy, for example, etc. but then I accidentally made a sneak attack that apparently had drained all of his HP, which is why I got him actually really want to have it back because it was one of my strongest ones because I had strengthened it several times.
I see, I wouldn't worry to much about it though, you can always die to orcs and keep making them stronger or recruit them and train them up. You can always shame them to remove those strengths and gain new ones. Or you can just do ranked sieges and find some strong orcs, maybe even cheated orcs which have no weaknesses. I looked into the backups, and apparently the game keeps your latest five saves, so you can probably find a forum where it details how to change these saves if your still not to far along from when the orcs died. I however do not know if orcs are persistent in these saves or if its just progression.

I have no idea how to actually load previous saves, as I I've never done it, but in sure that looking it up online will yield some results, that if of course if you are playing it on pc. I don't believe there is a way to do this on consoles. I would suggest searching for "reload previous saves shadow of war" or something similar, as I'm sure there has to be someone else with the same problem or wanting to reload a save for another reason.
Hello everyone, my question is for everyone. I'm playing v1. 21 of shadow of war in offline mode. My character is showing max level at level 20 and wont increase further, im really getting frustrated as no one else has this problem. Can anyone tell me how to fix it

@@joey4920online from Shadow of mordor was removed. Shadow of War working fine, my GOG version didnt support Online, i moved to steam one - and issue fixed
Anyone know if you can still do online conquest in the game ? I've had it since release completed it an ungodly amount of times but only did online conquest for the trophy and wanted to be challenged when I play now so thought it could be fun
We do! Enemy captains can be up to level 85, why Talion's limit is level 80, so towards the endgame, shaming will be very useful for recruiting strong captains.
Some of them are almost immortal and look really cool, I mostly just collect them, like a small side quest. But I'll definitely be making a guide to all the online features and modes for next week hopefully. And I'll be sure to detail the wrathgiver build and how to get most of the gear for it.

@@AV96 i notice the level of the overlord of the overlord calculates the exp u get. so if the overlord is a low level u wont get much experience

Usually have more than 3 epic traits because there’s a glitch to have 3 epic traits but anymore means it’s definitely a cheat orc

Update, level 80 is the highest level for players now. Level 85 is the highest for captains.

After some research, it seems it is a bug on your save, to fix it people have recommended you delete your current save and use a backup.
