One thing about Outlaw tribe. If an orc/olog from this tribe is a overlord - you have much more bigger chance that the orcs/ologs will betray you (usualy it is called rebellion). They have that in their lore btw (that they dont want the Dark lord or the Bright lord to rule them). The tribe that reduces the % of an orc betraying you is the Warmonger tribe. So get an orc or a olog from the warmonger tribe as your overlord.
@@AV96 i found out more. Mystic tribe increases the chance of an orc cheating death and (Spoiler alert!) Zog the Eternal will keep cheating death if where he died is still a Mystic tribe overlord. Now Dark tribe. I found out that who isnt from the dark tribe will be betraying you and i am not surprised, since its tribe of your biggest enemy. Feral tribe makes beasts spawn more - makes sence and also has 1% to spawn an orc or olog that can summon a drake (the skill is called - dragon song). Not rly sure if that is true, but in some online fotrs i found an olog with that skill. Marauder tribe does what marauders want - more coins. They give ya tresure chests that are hidden through out the region and even some of them are in the Fortresses. Also orcs or ologs with loot spawn often. Terror tribe adds nothing to the loayality or betraying, only spawns slaves about to be executed more (you can save them btw). Slaughter tribe too doesnt add anything to loyality or betraying, only spawns meet grainders where slaves are tossed into. Machine tribe. Not rly sure about this one... It can be nothing again and its only their furnaces that are spawning or they make loot orcs drop more upgraid gems.
@@OathofthePeachGarden Tried it and apperantly it did nothing. But apperantly the terror tribe has more of a chance that a captain will have a terrify weakness (like terrified of carragors)
I don’t understand why this game isn’t as famous or big as other games. It’s easily one of my favourites. I understand the grind and how repetitive it can get but that shouldn’t stop people from playing it and giving it a go. We have like 1000s or maybe infinite number of different orcs. It’s a great time killer.
Agreed. I wanna say that most just simply haven't heard of it because before Shadow of War was free for PS Plus I have never heard of it let alone Shadow of Mordor but now that I have gotten Shadow of War I can say with confidence that it is one of the best games I have played to where I am even willing to try and get Platinum for it. Another could be that a good chunk of content got cut because when the gameplay trailer was revealed there's some good stuff in it that we didn't get in game like Talion getting dark veins around his eyes and orange irises and hearing the Witch King's/Nazgûl's voice when cursed and how Uruk's made their entrances in forts like how Strombringer and The Flame made theirs.
Shame it's not as big as other games, definitely one of the greatest games out there, not to mention its one of a kind, but atleast we have infinite orc buddies to keep us going :D
Warmongers are truly underrated, idk why people hate on them so much; ur almost never betrayed, u have more bois defending your fort and no one gets an advantage over you

The effects of each kinds of overlords from each tribe. (I just recently learned aside from added props around the areas, each tribe overlord actually gives PASSIVE effects to their WHOLE area.) Dark: Adds alchemy stations that can be shot around the region to create baelfire. Increases odds of betrayal (and possibly ambushes?). Captains more likely to spawn with poisoned weapons. Feral: Adds drake bait to the region. All forms of beasts more common (Caragor, non-elemental Graug, Drakes, Spiders, and Ghuls). Machine: Adds forges to fortress that can explode when shot, as well as other sources of fire. Captains more likely to spawn with fire weapons. Maurauder: Adds treasure caches/chests throughout surrounding region that contain money. Also increases the odds of grunts (orcs or ologs) carrying gems and mirian. Mystic Tribe: (This is gonna be long) Adds necromancy totems to the region, which as long as they remain unpurified increase the odds of ALL captains cheating death, and will perpetually resurrect Zog The Eternal. Also increases the odds of encountering captains with "cursed veins" around the eyes with pale skin, which is a prerequisite for a captain becoming a necromancer, cursed veined captains have a chance to become a necromancer as they level up, so long as they don't have the advanced class "Tank" or "Destroyer", any tribe can have cursed veins and become a necromancer, mystic overlords just make it more common. I have yet to test, but I believe the totems also increase the odds of captains having cursed weapons (assuming there's separation between the weapons and the veins). Mystic overlords ALSO add rare graug variants, depending on which region they're in, Mystic in Nurnen adds poison graugs, in Gorgoroth adds fire graugs, and in Seregost add ice graugs. However rare graugs will never spawn in Cirth Ungol. Riding each graug type is necessary for an achievement, and poison graugs will appear naturally without a Mystic ruling over Nurnen (Ice and Fire appear in various missions). Warmonger: Adds non-interactable war drums through region with drummer ologs playing a beat while grunts train around them. More grunts of every type will spawn in the region, you also get more grunts/troops when defending a Warmonger fort. The highlight of having a Warmonger is that you have a decreased risk of betrayal while you're in this region, as warmongers are considered exceptionally disciplined and loyal. Terror: Adds guillotines throughout your fort and the surrounding area, typically with a grunt strapped in, which you can either free and let him run in fear, or shoot the blade to execute, terrifying nearby enemies. Orc grunts have lower morale with a Terror overlord, meaning enemies are more likely to run from fights in terror, even if you don't use any abilities that inflict terror. Slaughter: Adds more meat to the area for baiting caragors, as well as unique meat grinders, which can instant kill grunts if they're thrown into the top, or can shoot the furnace on the side to create an explosion. Same terrifying effect on enemies as the Terror tribe overlord. Meaning in terms of passives, the two are effectively interchangeable. Outlaw: Adds stages with preachy orcs who will talk about rebellion, you can shoot metal shards hanging above them to kill them for mostly comedic effect. Roaming orc groups will now carry war banners without the need for a nearby Commander class captain. Making grunts more dangerous with the ability to enrage themselves. Orc grunts in general become much more aggressive, attacking more often and with shorter counter windows. Unconfirmed but some also believe that, like the dark tribe, having an Outlaw overlord will increase your odds of betrayal, as they believe they should be free of BOTH you and Sauron. Overall, Mystic overlords BY FAR have the most perks for their tribe, Warmongers get an honorable mention for actually making your grunts more effective and decreasing betrayal rate. Dark tribe seems the poorest choice, as they only make life harder with more betrayals, and only really have their props going for them. Terror and Slaughter make each other sort of redundant. Marauder gets points for being good for farming, and just generally having (in many people's opinions) the best aesthetic with all the gold and a much brighter lighting which makes it easier to see.

BETRAYAL SYSTEM Apologies for this but I just want to help others so making sure this can be seen since not everyone goes to check the reply section from other comments. Not my intention to spam. My advice but no guarantees to avoid betrayals. This is MY EXPERIENCE. 1) Don’t level them to your same level. Keep them 2 levels down. 1 is fine but just for reassurance 2 is best. 2) Don’t kill their blood brother. Either recruit (whether useless or not) or shame. If useless, send them to any fighting pit to die. 3) Don’t attack/hit them several/many times when they’re your ally. 4) Give some orders to them to do stuff. Not everyone but just a few or some Captains are enough. 5) Don’t die. At least, not too many times. You may respawn many times over but they’ll see that as weakness. Orks/Orcs follow strength. 6) Don’t let your fellow Captains “Bled Out”. Revive them as much as possible. 7) Try not to let too many of your Captains die. Heavy casualties shows poor leadership & that you don’t care about them. 8) Avoid running away from Captains when fighting. At least, a few or some but don’t do it too many times. They think it’s cowardice rather than it being a tactical retreat. In other words, don’t try to leave the battlefield at least. For example, you can be near the outpost/fortress but don’t go too far after you’ve encountered them. 9) Honor your death threats. Avoiding to kill a Captain that you have a death threat to will be seen as dishonor. Another cowardice act. Meaning don’t wait for too long to kill him. 10) Shame to help reduce betrayals. Keeps your followers in line & loyal to you. Avoid doing it too much. Do it from time to time. 11) Careful not to keep changing the Overlord. Demoting them isn’t ideal especially those who may have served longer & loyal. Same with Warchiefs. 12) Avoid using the same Captain many times. I understand he may be your most powerful/favorite one but he may really hate a lot of work you’re giving him to do. 13) Avoid placing any Outlaw Tribes as Overlord. Their influence on your Captains increases disloyalty to you meaning more betrayals. I mean they’re “Outlaw” for a reason. The best tribe that reduces betrayal is the Warmonger Tribe. Note: So far I’m already a pro at the game cuz I’ve played 2x. That was a few years ago though. I’m on my 3rd playthrough for this year with a much more better understanding of the game’s betrayal system. So far, I only got betrayed once because the Captain was the same level as me. I hadn’t gotten a single death yet, had a few or some tactical retreats, did give orders to a few or some Captains, I only had 1 of my Captains dead from Online Conquest, hadn’t killed a blood brother, saved some Captains from bleeding out, shamed a few iron willed Captains, had some last attempts/incapacitations & never yet gave death threats (excluding the required one). I’m playing to still find out more about the betrayal system.
My favorite thing ive ever done was make a fortress with nothing but the pretender and his body doubles that i let kill me to become captain and have em guard either the overlord or warchiefs. Im sure the online invasion against it was somewhat annoying
I don't know about what you all do, but for me, I assign orcs that not only match the region, but that I also like. For example, in Nurn, I have the Marauder tribe because it is rich in resources like food, fuel, etc. In Cirith Ungol, I assign the machine tribe, they would fuel my armories, and the machine smoke stacks really match the aesthetic. Seregost, I assign the horror tribe. Idk why, but horror feels like it fits, plus, the design is much cooler than Dark or Mystic. Gorgoroth is warmonger. Since they are right next to Sauron, they have to be prepared, plus the design is cool. Finally, Lithlad is feral. I barely go there, but because of the sand worms, feral feels cool. Most important though, the design of the fortress has to look good.
I wouldn’t say the terror tribe is necessarily freaks. while they are definitely weird and gross and my least favorite tribe , their tactic of inflicting pain on themselves to make themselves more durable and immune to being tortured themselves is pretty smart
i always get at least a machine tribe or a marauder to make them overlords since they get the coolest bases in my opinion, except those two i only recruit dark tribe and mystic since they have the coolest weapons and looks
Marauder tribe is a the best one. Just throw in humiliator or wraightgiver. Shadekiller to keep might and health. Get the rune of conquerors that’ll make eleven rage last 33% longer. Throw in there something else to keep might and elven rage going at least until you get to the overlord. Good hunting Talions
Concept What would it look like if tribes fused daemons of chaos, warriors of chaos, Slaves to Darkness & chaos space marines army from total war Warhammer & MWG Studios on UA-cam?
My favorite one is the marauder tribe. Mainly because I just love soldiers with golden gear. Do you love recruiting Uruks as much as I do? If I can't recruit one I'll first shame them only to track them down once or twice more if needed. Honestly I just have a soft spot for them, anytime an Uruk captain, warchief or Overlord does dies it is never my intention...
I love looking for the coolest ones! Even if they are not that great I'll still have a chosen bodyguard which I'll upgrade and use to fight my nemesis!
If I get back into it, how does a force of Marauders, Warmongers, and Machine orcs sound? (I never finished it, but want to get back into it at some point)
My favourite tribe is the Machine tribe! My chosen overlord is always an Archer (Assassin/Marksman) or a Savage (Assassin/Slayer/Trickster) since the game is random All my warchieves and captains are Machine too Come and try to assault my Nurnen's fortress (Darth__Regis)!
Should of had each tribe mainly keep to the areas habitats.. Like that Tribe Trailer we saw. I imagined it so. But they are just mixed up anyhow. Like the Fire tribe should be mainly on the Volcano map. With a Scattering of other wondering Orks that belong to other tribes. Maybe just the fortresses then filled with those tribe types maybe. Love to design our own.
I got orc stalker, bruce the war flame , guy been stalking me for long now ,9😂😂😂 times he appeared recently, i kill him , he come back from the dead , he never kills me ,he like to taunt and humiliate me and then leaves ,
all i know is i always kill any orcs of the feral tribe. fucking hate that tribes design and the uruks within it are never interesting. Feral tribe and Deranged Uruk's always die to my blade. my personal favorites are Marauder and then Warmonger. mystic and dark following in the same spot. terror its a give and take. some i keep others i kill. outlaw and slaughter i do not have enough experience with to tell. just got the dlc for them recently
A normal human being that can come back to life over and over again and can climb up walls faster and run faster and can see and slow motion😂😂😂 yes normal human being

They should’ve added one with frost abilities. Or one that was like dragon worshippers
It would be cool if the last dragons came out of the frozen far north of Middle Earth to loot post-Sauron Mordor
My favorite thing ive ever done was make a fortress with nothing but the pretender and his body doubles that i let kill me to become captain and have em guard either the overlord or warchiefs. Im sure the online invasion against it was somewhat annoying
“If you want to join the next best thing to a tribe, you should subscribe” is gold lmao😂
"The Marauder tribe cares about tax evasion"
The dark and mysthic tribes have the best standard orks, but the machines and marauders have the best legendaries imo (especially machines)
Somebody should make a cypher for the 9 tribes, i think that would be fire
I love the kink-lord Terror tribe and the Gordon Ramsey tribe the most. 🥩💚⛓
I wouldn’t say the terror tribe is necessarily freaks. while they are definitely weird and gross and my least favorite tribe , their tactic of inflicting pain on themselves to make themselves more durable and immune to being tortured themselves is pretty smart
Wonderful idea for a video!!
i always get at least a machine tribe or a marauder to make them overlords since they get the coolest bases in my opinion, except those two i only recruit dark tribe and mystic since they have the coolest weapons and looks
Great video
Thank you :D
I like to spread the different tribes between each region that beats suites them, like Feral in Nurnen, Machine in Gorgoroth, etc
4:08 Bro danced as if he meant it 😁
Machine and slaughter tribes are the toughest from my experience
Marauder tribe is a the best one. Just throw in humiliator or wraightgiver. Shadekiller to keep might and health. Get the rune of conquerors that’ll make eleven rage last 33% longer. Throw in there something else to keep might and elven rage going at least until you get to the overlord. Good hunting Talions
My favourite tribes are the marauder, mystic and the slaughter tribe
the way you explain it is very entertaining😂 great video
I'd love an mmrpg where someone could play as orc and ologs with these tribes in mind.
dark tribe my fave
Coolest Orcs for sure
Looking for the terror tribe. Is there a place in the game where they hang out?
Concept
What would it look like if tribes fused daemons of chaos, warriors of chaos, Slaves to Darkness & chaos space marines army from total war Warhammer & MWG Studios on UA-cam?
Dark and terror seems kinda too similar for me. I mix them up often
I don’t have epilepsy but I still thought I was gonna have a stroke at 5:30
How do you find the other tribes I’m only seeing 3 tribes on my game can’t find the machine tribe at all
But this video gives a good description of each tribe and personally made me laugh while still being informitave.
I just noticed when he says subscribe the button lights up. Am I late to that?
The terror and slaughter tribes kinda feel interchangeable or is that just me.
Hec I try to find as many mystic berserkers as I can due to a traumatic experience with a few of them
Are these tribes more like different classes of oruks?
I like mystic tribe the most
Well presented. Good job! Really like a mini documentary
I haven't seen the last two tribes. What's going on?
I made my gorgoroth citadel a slaughter tribe thing just to throw people in the meat grinders.
Bro is low-key funny as hell
This youtubers biggest fear might just be getting eaten.
For some reason when an Olog kills me, they turn into the Gluttonous
Lucky literally like my favorite olog
@@wumbodumbo6581 my least favorite ologs. by far. even worse then all feral tribe ologs
We need more open world middle earth games
id say any orc with a group will just stand there and taunt in pit fights and get beat almost everytime
Are you telling me that the tribe of the overlord actually does something i never noticed and ive gotten tothe shadow wars like twice
which tribe would you be. i think i would be machine.
Oh huh, I thought it works became outlaws after you conquered the region
Can you join any one of these groups?
“Similar to commentary channels here on youtube”😂
My favourite tribe is the Machine tribe!
My chosen overlord is always an Archer (Assassin/Marksman) or a Savage (Assassin/Slayer/Trickster) since the game is random
All my warchieves and captains are Machine too
Come and try to assault my Nurnen's fortress (Darth__Regis)!
Feral tribe for the win
Are you telling me the feral tribe gets all aquaman with their beasts
Well, one of the voice sets do
Next time can you add a flash warning😢
My favorite is mystic
Favorite tribe Machine Tribe
Should of had each tribe mainly keep to the areas habitats..
Like that Tribe Trailer we saw.
I imagined it so. But they are just mixed up anyhow.
Like the Fire tribe should be mainly on the Volcano map. With a Scattering of other wondering Orks that belong to other tribes.
Maybe just the fortresses then filled with those tribe types maybe.
Love to design our own.
W video
NICE
I got orc stalker, bruce the war flame , guy been stalking me for long now ,9😂😂😂 times he appeared recently, i kill him , he come back from the dead , he never kills me ,he like to taunt and humiliate me and then leaves ,
its too bad that you cant give your orcs drake mounts
God damn dude you had me till the andrew tate reference.
Muraders evade taxes? Based
My fav tribes are the Dark tribe and the Terror tribe i like being edgy
For f-sake this was just a pain to listen to😐
Any smart reason why more games dont employ this "Nemesis" engine? Its seriously WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME!
all i know is i always kill any orcs of the feral tribe. fucking hate that tribes design and the uruks within it are never interesting.
Favoriete tribe terror
THE MAURADER TRIBE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A normal human being that can come back to life over and over again and can climb up walls faster and run faster and can see and slow motion😂😂😂 yes normal human being
