Tutorial: Cam Chain Tensioner Repair (e.g. Honda CRF250L)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 сер 2024
- This video shows how to repair the cam chain tensioner (cam chain lifter) of a Honda CRF250L. It's very detailed to repair it easily on the road and also back home, of course.
Usually this motorcycle doesn't have many issues with that, but after Miriam's motorcycle got overrun by a car in Argentina, we had to repair it every few days.
The process is pretty much similar to a CRF250 Rally, a CRF300L/Rally and also to many other motorcycles.

Noraly needs this for the Freetown mechanics.
🤪
Amazing. It's one thing to remove and re-insert the tensioner. It's a whole other level to fix the spring inside the tensioner!
Thanks - one doesn't have another choice in the middle of nowhere. And once done, it's not even a big thing anymore ;-)
Veeery nice job! True mastership gets visible in roadside repairs! 🙏💪🤗

Amazing ingenuity! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙏🙌🥰
Thanks - we thought that might be useful for people out there having trouble with their cam chain lifters on tour.

Impressive. Love your patience to be able to make a roadside repair AND take the time to record it and explain as you go
Do I hear a Bavarian accent? German or Austrian maybe?

Genial.

Bro speaks sarcasm as the main language 😂
Should you rotate the engine to the top dead center T mark first or does it matter when you do this repair?
You don't have to rotate the engine.
