I just can't get cold air could it be the ac pump
Maybe you can help me out I have an 2007 ford f350 king ranch super duty 6.0 diesel power stoke and it doesn't seem to go to cold air when I switch it from heat
I'm not an ac tech or anything, but have you had it recharged? I have a video for the super duty in my playlist for the f350. That is my usual case for no cold air coming out.
I turn mine to a/c setting and it blows out my vents, when I turn the setting to max it will blow out defrost. Do I have a different problem? Most people say it blows out defrost all the time, thats not my issue. I replaced the vacuum pump and got the same results.
99 to 07...08 is much different and it's a nightmare.
Is it possible to carefully use a wrench and adjust the new actuator arm before you reinstall the blender door control?
I'm sure you could. It didn't take too long
@@RoadHardRoadhouse hi, tried today, but it wouldn’t budge. I was afraid it was gonna break also in my 2005 F250 that unit was oriented horizontally rather than vertically like the video shows and it was difficult get in there.
I have heat but its not super hot. Sometimes it wont defrost the windshield will this help if i change it? And air barley blows out the vents it has a new blower motor new resistor and a new vaccum pump new pulse vac actuator.. How do i get more air out my vents
You can always try it , just in case and take it back, or get a cheap one at a pick and pull. I can't remember how much it was...
I plug in the new actuator and play with the climate controls until the pegs match 🙂
Good idea
Genius!
that part is the one that gives hot and cold air right
Wouldn't the truck then think the AC is in a different position and not switch properly?
Exactly! Turning the actuator box in this tiny area is almost impossible. Besides this, you need to plug in the new one and ops check it before installation, I bought a brand new one from a well known parts store and it didn’t work. The old one works but, when installed clicks and doesn’t move the door, internal gears stripping.
It’s an actuator, not the blend door.
do you know where the cab filter is on 2000 f250 super duty?
There isn't one
I cant get the thing to move
Take a small flat blade screwdriver and place it under the actuator, and gently pry up.
So this fixed the problem of AC and all air going through defrost vents back to normal vents?
Yes, it did. No more defrost all the time
@@RoadHardRoadhouse ordered from the site you suggested...just replaced it with part made from China and I'm still on defrost...I was so excited
@@youjustdontgetit8117 I found small hard plastic vacuum lines on my firewall that were broken, I repaired them and the air started coming out of the dash vents instead of the defroster vents. I'm not saying yours is the same, worth a look.
@@scottmclain3145 I'll check them out but those are practically new when I redid my motor
@@scottmclain3145 my boy said he thinks it's the control switch broken on dash panel
