After having experienced a lot of different 7S26 Seiko 5‘s with different dial colors and model variations, I have purchased end of last year a SARB035, a Presage Sharp Edge (green one) and a 37mm Grand Seiko with a beautiful blue dial. I can say, the dna is there but the quality difference is definitely there.
Interesting you went for the sarb035 white dial. A lot of my purchases were as an alternative to the sarb033. Maybe should just get one as it has the lume too
These cheap 37mm Seiko 5 are great. I have a SNK809K1 and I think it’s an item of value. Just ordered a domed sapphire crystal for it. Should look great with ar coating and the domed. Congrats to your #1000. 🕐⚙️🍸
A Seiko SNK807 was my first automatic watch. It’s great & gets worn every day. In my opinion the current 5 range is lacking the style of watch you have there. The Sary is a great looker but a bit large for my preference in watch size. The GS oozes class. It’s not for me because I don’t have any interest in quartz. A great compare & contrast vid.
Thanks. I think the previous range of Seiko 5s , the 807, the snk001, the 23, the snxs79 (many more) are absolute gems in the watch world. I would snap as many up as I could if it didn't seem slightly mad in building a general collection. I do love the Sary, but strangely am gravitating myself now to smaller cases......36, 37mm are a charm on wrist
@@perfectwrist23 Sorry if this comment is a double post, my comment disappear.The SBTM is like the JDM version of SUR but with solar, radio timekeeping and perpetual calendar.I say it kinda look like the GS and SARY in your video but of course the finishing is not crazy.I wear it more often than my mechanical Seiko and Citizen.Also it is clear sapphire crystal like is not even there.

Both models have a very special charm, typical of Seiko models. The SARY 57 would be my choice.

Domed crystals transform almost anything. I really should snap some more of these 37s up. I always like them.....Seiko at its best
