This has to be one of the greatest videos I've ever seen on UA-cam regarding Seiko watches and I have seen hundreds of them congratulations on a beautiful collection
Yesterday I placed an order for my first SEIKO ,A hand winding 17 jewel watch 7000-8000 with no day date, just with time. I thought I would never find one. I was so happy . Your collection is amazing. Enjoy it in good health. be well
A very nice collection! I was very impressed with your ability to talk about the history and specs of each watch. You're rightfully proud of your collection - well done!
I’ve got my first seiko and first automatic watch to add to my collection the Seiko watch I got is the Seiko SRPK33K it’s beautiful watch my collection mainly contains quartz watches, or solar watches. It’s great to have an automatic in the mix and I’ve definitely got the Seiko bug I’m getting some more Seiko watches throughout this year. My next seiko watch I’m getting is the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC813P Panda dial I absolutely love my watches. I love Seiko watches. I’m going to add plenty of them to my collection
Fantastic collection! I think a logical next step would be adding a MM300 (maybe the SBDX017 or SLA021), and if you want to build out the dress side a bit, possibly a Cocktail Time (I own the Mojito, it’s a beautiful piece).
I am same enthusiast genre as you my man. I have Skx007j,007K,009J, King Turtle Dark Manta Ray, King Samurai waffle dial with golden second hands, 2 sumo hulk, Urban Safari Baby Tuna, Penguin Monster. Last acquisition was seiko 5 fc barcelona and solar diver night vision. On my wish list: SARB/SARV, Captain Willard, 62 MAS, MM300, LX (waiting for a reedition of GMT with smaller wrist size. I am picky with larger as my wrist is small but seiko magic allowed me to own big 45 sumo. I am a new enthusiast started seiko this year from G shock and smart watches. With exemption of the sumo I wish one piece from line up for now but is tempted on more sumo and monster as I have interesting ones popping up in the marketplace which is on good prices.
Hey mate you are much welcome 🤗 thanks for sharing with us your diverse Seiko collection. I think you have a great foundation of some of the modern Seiko Divers and design, so really well done with your selection. SARB; Willard, 62MAS are great trio on your list to buy. MM300 & LX are significant more advanced and much better finishing and cost much much more. in saying that I hope you enjoy your current line up and achieve your goal in the near term / long term. Hope my videos on some of these watches will help you one way or another. 👍
@@Felix_love_watches thank for inspiring us. Love your channel’s mood. No hype just pure admiration. Keep up the great work. I will be looking forward for new uploads.
@@Felix_love_watches I have recently got back into collecting watches and I keep going back to Seiko as I don't think any other brand compares when it comes to quality for the price
Seiko are the best watch maker. Fantastic collection. Seiko has watch technology and price points for all watch lovers. From $100 all the way to a $200,000 Seiko Credor minute repeater. The people’s watch company.
@@Felix_love_watches I was joking about the last two that aren't Seiko. But you can replace them with a Seiko Velatura and the Seiko Prospex compass automatic. They would be nice acquisitions for your collection.
Can someone please guide me into understanding what is so special about SPD series? No offence but apart from the origin being the first diver from Seiko, I really can’t tell what the fuzz is all about for this reissue.
Wonderful collection Felix! I previously owned an SPB213 but sold it as I couldn’t connect with the watch and didn’t own a seiko in the collection for a long time. After discovering your videos, I’ve got massively pulled back into the seiko game and added a slim turtle SPB333 and alpinist SPB197 to the collection. Will be also picking up a MM200 reduced later today 😂. Maybe a MM200 reduced for your next piece? Wishing you all the best on the road to 1000 subscribers.
Hey mate so glad to see you coming back to it, love your 333 and 197 too. I have given the mm200 spb077 to my father so perhaps I will add another mm200 (reduced or not) in the future
You have 2 skx 2 Tuna and 2 monster watches if I were you I keep 1 of each model sell the other 3 and get marine masters 300 that will complete your collection 👍🏼
Great collection. I’m surprised you don’t have a Pogue, I thought for sure one was going to be in there. I’ve got two turtles (my favorite design) A “Batman” Seiko 5 GMT And an SLA053 MM300 Looking to add one of the Presage Power Reserve models next.
I’m going to get flamed for this but no Seiko is a Rolex killer. Some higher end ones can be comparable but still lacking in some areas so by no means a killer of a Rolex. This is coming from someone who currently has a marinemaster 300 and a grand seiko spring drive.
Very good question very difficult to answer. Sorry mate can’t pick one. I can do a trio of daily for you. Spb147 (62mas as diver also delivers one of best Seiko in its divers heritage). Sarb033 (dressy sports daily also has huge following) Sarb017 (classic explorer daily sports, glad to see Seiko continue with Alpinist line under the Prospex and continue to do well) Hope it helps?
Hey mate in real work 4R, 6R even 7S are all fantastic. In my own experience they ranging from -+2spd ~-+8spd. If you purchase from new or used with warranty then you have a piece of mind. If it’s out of the warranty period and needs a full service it’s cost effective as well. In conclusion - Seiko Prospex’s goal is not to ask us to choose between a Prospex Diver or a Grand Seiko, but really how can they deliver the best bang for buck holistically when it comes to intrinsic design, reliable technology in its movement and fit & finish from a everything in house manufacturing standpoint. And from this perspective they really do not have a competitor but themselves.
@@Felix_love_watches i recently bought one of the seiko 5 diver in thailand and it jumped +8 seconds after my snorkeling trip which was a shocker since it was only about 8 hours 🤣. I guess for $270 what do I expect. I also got two spring drives and they are awesome but my grand seiko sbgh295 lost almost a min after about a month when stored at an angle. If I lay it flat at night it gains a few seconds a day. Kind of a weird watch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@vktravellog1242 hey mate great collection you have. Astonishing for the GS, I would consider under 1 mins for 30 days without any additional movement is great, I would be over the moon for sure!
@@Felix_love_watches i guess I am too used to the spring drives. One is +/- 0.5 sec a day and it usually is off about 2-5 sec a month. The other one is +/- 1 sec a day and is less accurate by a few seconds a month. The more accurate one is a grand seiko and the other is a seiko luxe. Now days I been wearing my g shock square as my new favorite for now and its always accurate with the multi band 6 🤣
I kinda hate this collection, they're almost all big chunky dive watches, but I guess that's why there's so many types of watches available, something for everyone, i actually liked the calvin klein watch the most, I'm not into fashion brands so I wouldn't ever consider it, but it was quite sleek
