I'm not American, but my wife is from Louisiana, USA, so I can relate a lot! I LOVE how patriotic Home Free are, and how they frequently express their respect to the military, pay respect to the fallen, and their loyalty to the flag. I agree with you, their obvious friendship and closeness is contagious, it makes me feel good watching and listening to them! :) I just LOVE Home Free, and it makes me happy in my heart that you are too :) You would love their respectful rendition of "Go Rest High On That Mountain" - it's really strong, sweet, and sad. A true tribute to the fallen.
I LOVE that you get so excited about America and "get" how much we love our Country. (Don't believe the news) This song excited me. We NEED this song today. Remember who we are. (Catfish? We make the best fried catfish in the South. You have to come down soon.)
I absolutely love this so much. This is an original. Tim Foust and his friend Chris Chatham wrote this a long time ago. And has his solo version of this on YT. But this song is so needed right now. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 definitely playing it now, 4th of July and on 9/11. Its the 20th anniversary this year
Home Free are patriotic & they just make you feel good!! They have a fishing video “Good Ole Boy Good Time “ which includes fish Fry & lots of goofy HF moments! Austin loves fishing so much he has fishing rods next to his front door! If you’re a fisherman watch “I’m Gonna Miss Her” by Brad Paisley! Nice Reaction!!
Live in Florida in the US…..have seen this group twice in person…..they are truly amazing! Great song! By the way thank you so much for featuring allot of true American values. On your channel. I think the spirit of our two countries lies in those values. My DNA just showed my 96% British Isles and 40% Scottish heritage…..so PROUD!
You have eclectic tastes, you will enjoy Home Free because they cross genres all the time. Pop, R&B, Gospel, Soul, and Country, they will make any style their own and do each justice.
Great reaction! Love Homefree! This song has a fantastic message! Love your country and always unite in your freedoms. Yep, they are 5 guys you wanna hang out with!! Thank you for your reaction! More Homefree please!
Thanks for the great reaction. I love this song and video so much. It's my favorite musical artists singing about and doing some of my favorite things. Come on. What's not to love, right? America, fireworks, cook outs, fishing, an awesome tricked out jeep, adult beverages, chilling with some very cool dudes, and awesome music. They sound soooo damned good, as usual. No other bands' music makes me feel happier. That's the thing about Home Free, they are so down to earth and real, you really do feel as if you could comfortably hang with them and have fun.
This is, from now on, is my 4th of July anthem for the rest of my life !!! When some patriotism is needed I'll get this song out and listen to this !!! Home Free is amazing....they've done it once again....they hit another grand slam out of the park !! Thanks for covering this !!! This is an original written by Tim (the bassist) a few years ago, but they waited til this album to put it out.
Thank you so much for reacting to this! What a fun, patriotic toe-tapper. I am an avid Home Fry and am so excited because I finally have tickets to see them in October!
Loved your reaction to this song! You should really check out Homefree's " Everybody walking this Land" it a beautiful song with a great message. And if you do be sure to watch the message after the song stops. Powerful message. Thanks again for giving us Homefries more Homefree!
Omg!! This has been so much fun! Watching Home Free again with Land of The Free and listening to you just made my day! Thank you so much for the excitement and enjoyment this brings to us all. Well I guess I could say you are a Hoot and a Half...making an old lady laugh. Kinda rimes. Have a great day. I'm from Texas.
I totally agree with you! I love Home Free & I love "The Don" so "I'm as happy as a pig in mud"! HaHa! From another "old lady" from the "other Big T" (Tennessee)!
Hey Don, glad you liked it. It’s an uplifting song. Tim Foust, the bass who started the song, wrote this. Tricked out Jeep, hamburgers and hot dogs, horses and doggies….what more can you want? And they’re all together. No more quarantine…YAY! Home Free sings a variety of songs. They’re mostly country but they sing R & B, pop, gospel too. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own stuff like this song. I like the guys too and they aren’t afraid to be goofy while still sounding good. If you really like bass, try listening to Tim Foust sing Misty Mountains (from the movie the Hobbit) with Peter Hollens (another amazing ‘a cappella’ artist. It’s great. Also try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, I Can’t Outrun You. Love Home Free. Great reaction Don!
Yes you are officially a "Home Fry"!!! In South Carolina they set out car tires with holes cut in them for catfish, they call it checking tires. I've seen some pretty big cat's pulled out of those things.
You would really enjoy another Home Free original Good Old Boy Good time. Video was filmed fishing at a pond. Other feel good songs where you see them hanging out together with their families are Summer in the country and Hillbilly bone.
Thank you, thank you!!! I got this from Home Free a couple of hours after it came out & instantly fell in love with it & sent it to all my family & friends AND to YOU for a reaction; so all the Home Fries thank you!
Great song… about a great country… appreciated by a great Music Reactor who celebrates our Land and our freedom. Last year, we were in lockdown… so let’s get out there and celebrate our thanks for our freedom and patriotism for this wonderful country. From a vet, thank you for posting all your videos - SALUTE to you sir!
Thank goodness, nobody has been in "lock down" in my "neck of the woods"! Thank you for your service! From the wife of a deceased Marine Vietnam vet & now of an Air Force survivor of the Khobar Tower bombing!

God Bless.
Tim Faust actually wrote this song some years ago and recorded it on a solo album. I think bringing the other guys into the mix was just absolute brilliant. But I'm also incredibly proud of Tim foust because he's from Nederland Texas so he's a homeboy.
This song was written by the bass Tim Foust, and is on his solo album. You can find it here on UA-cam. These guys are absolutely amazing. Your reactions are so much fun, thank you.
Just started following and have enjoyed all of your videos and you sir are definitely a true patriot. Me as an American it's nice seeing others like you sharing what we all believe in. I absolutely love your energy and upbeat attitude. Also loved your reaction. Tim, Home Free's bass man wrote this years ago. He was a country solo artist, before joining Home Free over a decade ago. This was on his solo album called "THE BEST THAT I CAN DO". Most, if not all, of those songs on that album was songs that he wrote himself. He also writes for other artists, too.
Thanks for reacting to this! Unapologetically Proud Americans. They are amazing and never miss the mark. Check out anything by them and you won’t be sorry!❤️🇺🇸❤️
GREAT song, just when we needed it !!!! I Love my country just like Home Free does, thanks so much for this song and thank you for the wondeeful reaction !! Fly that beautiful flag Adam and let it Wave !!
Great reaction! We love Scotland in general (though we have not yet been to Ireland) and we really enjoyed this. If you ever want to do some great trout (or catfish) fishing, Tennessee is the state you need to visit! (And that's where Austin is. :-) )
LOVE THIS!! I just love Home Free....period. And I just love your reactions and your energy!! I needed to smile today and I just did, thanks to you! YES!! You are indeed a "Home Fry"!! ALL the songs on this album are about love of country (and the people in it). Cant wait to hear more of it! Thanks again so much! ❤
They are so talented!! And, you already sound like an American fisherman, "a 60 lb catfish". It HAS happened but not as much as it used to, my daddy used to catch some big catfish, between 8 & 11 lbs. He and mama could hold up the fried catfish like an ear of corn, eat down one side, flip it over and repeat. Then, just a fish skeleton (minus the head). But, my special needs brother, who lives with me now since our parents passed away, can't eat anything with bones. My daddy was a master butcher, (if such a thing exists), he did it his whole life. People would drive from an hour away to get him to cut their steaks. But, back to catfish, since my brother couldn't eat catfish like that and not many people can, it was more of an older generation skill, I think. Anyways, we always had 4th of July family cookout at mama & daddy's, the place where I grew up, Walhalla, SC. Daddy would filet the catfish off the bone so that Joel could eat it (and I honestly liked them better that way too). Then, there's the fixins' (the rest of the food) mama made potato salad (I hate potato salad but everyone said it was great), daddy cooked the corn on the grill along with a few burgers and hotdogs for the grandkids. I brought baked beans, no marshmallow toppings, just good ole baked beans, my Aunt brought coleslaw, my grannie would bring 2 banana puddins, cause you always went back for more. Plus, homemade churned ice cream. We had it down beside the creek, my parents had a little over an acre of land with the house. We set up the badminton net, horse shoes and we only had a few fireworks because a sparkler had blown up in mama's hand and she wasn't comfortable around them. We could see the big display over the lake. Those were great memories, thanks for helping me to think about the past. And, my special needs brother who's physically and mentally handicapped. He's inaudible to every one but me, I normally know what he's saying. I'm 9 years younger (I was an accident), I have lupus and recently found out that I have a rare form of leukemia. Chemotherapy treatments are probably going to start at the end of June. I'm worried about my brother during my treatments. But, I'll handle it somehow, my other brother doesn't help me at all. Joel needs prayers. I don't know if you're a spiritual man or not but some of your viewers are, so I'm asking for prayers. He has developed gout in his wrist. He's had it before in his knee. He's tiny, weighs only 80lbs soaking wet. He's terrified of doctors. So, any praying people, I'd appreciate it. After my chemotherapy is over, I'm coming to the UK so my fiance and I can look around for places to live, I'm shooting for Scotland. Thank you!
You got pumped up from that. I love it. First time I heard it too.. good stuff. I'm with you on music, don't care if it was written 300 years ago or yesterday, or who from. If it's good, it's good. I did enjoy this song very much! But as a history geek and especially of the American Revolution I find it ironic and hilarious in allot of ways that a British (Scottish) guy that has served in the British military is wanting to celebrate Independence Day with us Yanks. Lol Btw. I don't know that I've ever said this but thank you for your service! Even though you didn't fight in the American military you still helped keep the free world that way so thank you!
Love this song & love this video! And love your reactions! I'm a sucker for a Scottish accent anyway. LOL! (According to my genealogy research, my dad's family came over from Scotland in the 1700s. Who knows? We might be distant cousins.)
You would be so welcome here in America. Scenery looks like here in Tennessee. (where Tim is living). 3 of them live here in the south so could be anywhere. Wonderful ..looks like a good old Sunday afternoon.
Great reaction brother!! How can I send you an American flag? I consider you to be an American like me!! Much love and respect to you and your family brother 🙏
Donated to your trip fund. Most visitors to the U.S. usually either target New York or L.A. with Las Vegas a possible third. I live in what the Coasters call one of the "Fly Over States". You would be so welcome here in America. Scenery looks like here in Tennessee. (where Tim is living). 3 of them live here in the south so could be anywhere. Wonderful ..looks like a good old Sunday afternoon.
Great reaction as always 🤣 thankyou. Awesome song and video. Spot on !!!!
How did it happen that I was born here?
Love your enthusiasm🎆 Your accent and happy reactions make me happy!
Loved your reaction...I just hit the sub button for more Home Free!
Love the travel idea, that would be so much fun. If you come to the US you can rent an RV and travel the country.
Yeah I would love to do that
The word you are looking for to describe your music taste is "eclectic". Mine is too 😊.
Bass Pro in South Dakota has some big @ss catfish in their water tank display. I'll be lookout if you want to try there.
A friend of mine caught a catfish so big it was bigger than his bathtub. Great barbecue.
I Would love to try that
You need to just come on over the pond. We love you, you love us.....what's keeping you?
I knew you’d love this one 💖🙃🇺🇸‼️🇺🇸🙃💖
True
Great reaction brother!! How can I send you an American flag? I consider you to be an American like me!! Much love and respect to you and your family brother 🙏
Donated to your trip fund. Most visitors to the U.S. usually either target New York or L.A. with Las Vegas a possible third. I live in what the Coasters call one of the "Fly Over States". There's a whole lot of America between those destinations, the Real America in fact. I would like to see a trip reaction to a Middle America visit.
Thank you very much for your support. We greatly appreciate the donation. Yeah I'm not interested in the big cities. I'm going to keep it country 👍😁
Good, you will see the 'real people of the USA' then.
You seemed to enjoy Reagan's A Soldier's Pledge speech.
You should definitely react to his A Time for Choosing speech! It's spectacular!
