  • Nina Guilbeault joins me to talk about “The Good Eater: A Vegan’s Search for the Future of Food” on this edition of "Some Books Considered." Guilbeault talks about veganism's growth from obscurity to increasingly mainstream recognition. She spent years researching the book and learning about food innovations, regenerative farming, and the potential future of food. If more people adopt a plant-based diet, even part of the time, it will help the environment, and help avoid a climate crisis. and ease the strain on the global food chain.
Nina Guilbeault is a sociologist, author, and educator. She is the co-founder of “Plant Futures,” a non-profit affiliated with UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She has also served as a consultant to major food brands. She joins us to talk about “The Good Eater: A Vegan’s Search for the Future of Food.”
I requested and was provided with a copy of the book, but this video is not sponsored.
