After years of not being able to solve the issue with my PC waking up your guide helped to figure it out using the command prompt. You saved me replacing a motherboard and an SSD so here's the least I can do for you :)
@@ChrisMizo ok so my wireless mouse was read as a keyboard when waking up, and could wake up the PC 🤣 So I didabled for all of the devices (keyboards, mouses, internet etc) the ability to wake up the pc Now it stays asleep 😍 Ty Chris !
i have win 8.1 and noticed lately my pc is not going into sleep like it is suppose to so to test i put mine to shut display off for plugged in after 1 min and also to go to sleep after 1 min, it does shut the display off after 1min but after another 1min it does not go to sleep?

@@ChrisMizo Yes I found out it was a USB issue so I did process of elimination it is my hyperx quad cast S microphone so whenever I unplug it my PC will go to sleep I’ve tried going in device manager but there’s no power options for the microphone so I tried contacting Hyperx to see if they can release an update or something like that

i have samsung evo plus 970 2tb i think that makeing my pc not to go to sleep i try all your steps
I found my gaming keyboard was sending data to the computer after entering sleep mode and reawakening it. Deselected wake on keyboard, problem fixed.
