Best Budget Curved Treadmill for Home Gyms in 2024
#curvedtreadmill #assaultrunner #manualtreadmill
The SF-S2 Sprint Demon Curved Treadmill is Designed for HIIT Training (High Intensity Interval Training), Circuit Training, Sprints, Short Distances and Walking / Power Walking. Like running on air- burns up to 30% more calories than a motorized treadmill!
Ultra-thin and flexible slats offer cloud absorption, which makes the SF-S2 Sprint Demon Treadmill extremely lightweight and promotes less stress on joints and more activation of muscles resulting in higher intensity workouts
7 Levels of Resistance: low resistance for sprinting, medium resistance for walking, high resistance for power walking/running while holding handrails (imitates sled push). Multiple hand grips make it convenient to change hand positions when using the treadmill like a sled push
Easy to move - lightweight nature and mobility wheels on the front of the Sprint Demon allows it to be moved within your home gym extremely easily
Digital display for calories, heart rate and speed. Large device holder for cell phones and tablets.
What do you use to get your cardio in?

I don’t understand how something that doesn’t have a motor costs more than one with a motor.
Cause it's a free runner, it's not the same internal belt design of one with a motor.
So it's simpler, cheaper to make, and more expensive for us?
@@markzc6236 It's not simpler to make and yes it's more expensive for us...
It's built with a whole bunch of bearings. A regular treadmill just overcomes friction with the motor and motors are cheap. Think vacuum cleaner. The cheapest old school model you find find has a stonger motor than YOU can deliver over a minute, and that actual sucker will do it for hours. A good bicyle costs more than an electric skateboard for similar reasons. That all said, you can get $180 manual flat treadmills on an incline that require you to hold on to a handle.
you mean like an electric car? Come on
I've never even heard of a manual treadmill that comes in under $1000. Great to see more affordable options being made available!
It's def. a start
Have you seen the Tibbar Guy Sled Tred?
@Fitforacting no!!! Did they just release it or did I totally miss it
@@NoFate247 They released it a few months ago. The shipping is higher but it has so many things. It cost me $1000 after shipping to Los Angeles but I have been selling other pieces to have it make sense and make more room
Just got this bad boy off someone from facebook at a crazy discount. I absolutely love it.
Nice what you pay
@@NoFate247 300, drove 3.5 hours there tho bc I didnt want to lose it haha, was the only close one and even the others wouldnt go below 450
As a senior citizen who already has a traditional motorized treadmill with a lifetime warranty, I wouldn't get this manual curved treadmill. If I were a younger person who didn't already have a treadmill I would definitely be interested. This was a really great informative video. I enjoyed seeing the kids in the video. Stallone was a cool touch too.
Thanks for watching! If you have a treadmill that works for you definitely no need to change. But you are absolutely right, something to think about if you are buying a new one
Age is just a number.
10 for 10 on this review. You hit the pros n cons spot on with what to expect and what it won't do. How is the deck length? (made sure to check spelling on that word) After owning the Nordic commercial 1750 for years, I couldn't stop the want of a manual. Haven't been back on the motor-mill since getting the curve. Its so much more natural and moves at your speed/pace. Ended up going with a company called SFE Sports Fitness Exchange. They have great prices on cardio equipment and always running sales. Both treadmills were grabbed on $1000 off + free shipping.
Yeah the length was actually fine but the width was narrow
@@NoFate247 ain't no stranger to hearing that.
My wife loves and uses our Nordic Track Commercial 1750 daily. She says she loves an incline and being pushes to keep up with the motor.
If it's working then stick with it. When I use a flat treadmill I need to set the incline up to 4 or else I don't feel it
Thanks for reviewing this, I have been eying this for a while now! This helped in my decision making. Keep it up NoFate!!!
Thanks for checking in!!!! What is your current go to for Cardio?
@@NoFate247 Heavy bag/speed bag works outs, with assault bike intervals in between.
Outdoor running and hiking in high altitude for my endurance days come to think of it its all done at higher altitude. 7500 ft and above.
Is this a good treadmill if you just want to walk at a low pace everyday? I have back and knee pain.
Pretty good for walking
Are you keeping all the neighbors' wiper fluid topped off? You are really stocked up.
LOL good catch! Had to buy 8 of them to get free shipping so I figured it doesn't go bad and I won't stop using wiper fluid anytime soon :) If you come by I'll fill you up
I reviewed this too and felt the same way. Pro tip DO NOT buy their sled. It was shockingly bad. I wanted to review it but didn't know where to start
Do you still use it?
@@NoFate247 I contacted them about the sled and they told me to return it. The handles were so misaligned that it was impossible to use and the resistance would cause the sled to tip over
$700 is a great price. I wonder how it will hold up long term.
Maybe times are changing and him gym equipment prices are working down to pre 2020 prices 🤯
I think overall the quality is going up and prices are coming down but inflation is still high and budget equipment with moving parts won't last "as long" as higher end products. Just my two cents
Signature fitness is one of those companies that seem to good to be true, Ive purchased a few inexpensive things from them (weight horns and a pair of spare J-cups) and they do exactly what they are supposed to do but they are definitely a step down from REP, Rouge, and even Titan. Thank you for the review 🏋♂️
Yeah the price is right but you get what you pay for. How did you like their jcups?
@NoFate247 they are not bad. The cups themselves are small, just enough to cradle the bar. They use a thick plastic and are felt lined to protect the rack.
Great warning at the end! LOL good vid as always
Yeah I try to keep it honest always. What are you using for cardio?
I'm not going to lie, I don't do much cardio. But I do have a regular indoor spin bike I got from Amazon. It's one of those generic cheapest ones you'll find as I couldn't find a way to convince myself to shell out for the rogue echo bike@@NoFate247
All I need it something to walk on, silently, placed under a (likely wall mounted for height) desk.
What's overkill and what's a waste of space?
Can you rephrase your question
The slabs shift to the side when in used. Maybe my stride is off. Any input would be appreciated
Can you tighten the belt? Not sure why it's doing that
How does it compare to the Bowflex for hanging clothes?
I see what you did there!!!! Absolutely can hold 3 pairs or jeans or 4 collared shirts. What are you doing for cardio these days?
Concept 2, and Air Assault bike-but the seat is very agitating to the groinal area.
The SF-S2 says it's $1999.99... so what are you talking about when it's under $1000?
Prices fluctuate especially on their website, you check walmart?
It's on Walmart my guy
I see it on Walmart app for $699.
So if you were interested in a curved manual treadmill for nearly daily usage, say 5 or 6 miles a day, which one would you recommend?
Assault runner is one of my favorites but they are pricey
Anything cheaper that's almost as good and doesn't have as many cons as the sprint demon?
@@AbrahamRomney Nothing cheaper that I know of
What is the longest distance you recommend?
For running on this?
Yes
Do you think it would work as a walking pad under a standing desk with the arm parts not attached? Or is it hard to walk on without holding on? How loud is it when walking? Thank you!
Hard to walk without holding on
how wide is the belt on this
Not sure off the top of my head, check link in description.
It would be cool if you could do a review on the FTS Series of york barbell equipment. The press squat bench combo unit is rated for 1000lbs for just over 300 bucks. It definitely doesn't have all the Bells and whistles. That the other brands have but for just over three hundred bucks excellent price. . The fts flat bench and combo bench are both 2x3 11G steal. No one does this equipment. For the price it some excellent heavy equipment. I myself have a lot of rogue and titan. But I feel york is the original OG of the garage gym equipment. They get so over looked
I will try to get my hands on it. Any others you want me to review
@NoFate247 that's about it. So far, I love the channel. Thanks for the response.
go
out
side
i mean i get if you live in the great white north, but really, go outside. The meme about people who drive 20 minutes to go to the gym to walk/jog on the treadmill is super true.
Yeah a bit cold to go out running up here but I get it. What do you do for cardio
more than 10 reps @@NoFate247
@@NoFate247 Can't always go outside for sprint intervals on a rainy day. And it would take longer to get out there and back than the 12 seconds to get it done.
What is the max weight limit of this treadmill?
400 lbs
Looks like REP has a bunch of new cardio machines in the works...including a curved runner. At the window...."open...open..open..."
Thank you!!! 🙏🙏🙏. Yeah I am going to be talking about them on this Saturday video
It looks so cool 😎
What do you do for cardio these days?
@@NoFate247 10-14k steps per day
was waiting for the little Mac montage
Oh it's coming!!!
It's now $1,999.00 Sale price $1,779.00 and sold out... And USA only. No Europe. :(
Ugh that stinks!!!! Do you have Walmart in your country
no, there's no Walmart or anything similar. With these cosmic prices I am considering DYI at this point... Insane
Wait what’s running 😅 great review man.
You won't get to 300 lbs with cardio my man. When you see a treadmill just slowly wobble the other way :)
@@NoFate247 I prefer to roll, thanks
Can’t find that treadmill anywhere!
It definitely goes in and out of stock. Not sure if they are going to discontinue it
Treds and deads
What's your go to for cardio these days? Still the bike?
Ye pay fer what ye get.
Buy once cry once right
All these “reviews” are just parroting the sales pitch…. A review should have what’s good and what’s bad. How it’s used.
Did I not do that?
