This did not work. It only worked when I pasted the script flag in "script_flag_set_on_touching" on the trigger_multible. If I dont do this, I die when I enter the new zone. I did everything exactly like in the tutorial.
Could you possibly explain how you wrote the script? Basically I have a script written where two buttons have to be pressed in the map which then opens a door to a new area. I then use coding to enable the zone within the new area. The issue I run into however, is when I stand in the zone in the new area, the game does not recognize the surrounding zones to be adjacent and therefore do not spawn zombies. Is there away in my script I can write a line of code to flag the script flag into linking the two zones for them to be adjacent? I already have them added as " zm_zonemgr::add_adjacent_zone( "zone8","zone7","enter_zone7" ); ", but I am unsure as to how to "activate" the script flag through coding.
Can someone please help me. I have tried for days to get zones to work and i just keep dying. I have tried the proper script when you add the zone you leaving to the zone you go into and the door your walking through and that didnt work and now i have tried this and it doesnt work. I dont understand the script flag your adding? What do you type init and how does it know that your leaving a zone and going into another one if your not typing atleast the name of the zone your entering.
@@IceGrenade I think I named it wrong cos i copy and pasted a code off a forum and it worked then. Thank you for your reply. I am now having a problem with textures glitching out and then crashing shortly after. if you know what the problem is there and could let me know that would be great!

Just needs to be correct adjacent setup.
@@IceGrenade So I ended up getting it to work. I added in the level flag::set(“zonename”); line of code and now it is working.
The code works as per the tutorial, I still use this all the time

It's all to do with flag names and adjacent settings in your mapname.gsc
