In the beginning of the single player, when we were told about a unique pilot-titan bond we were like “Yeah, bullshit.” And now titans are our children
I've seen an enhanced NorthStar literally 360 (cuz auto Titans can spin dodge) no scope an enemy pilot half way across the map, the pilot was mid air...
Nobody will probably see this due to it being almost a year late but I’ve also learned a small trick with auto-titan: when you call down a titanfall you can press down twice on the D-pad (once will just make it go into guard mode, assuming you are playing console) to make your titan leave their bubble immediately rather than sit there.
@@oreomint8255 wtf really, every time my titan is on auto will get killed for sure, so i have to run as fast as i can to get him I already know the trick, i used it for when i see so many titans and i know i will not be alive to get into my titan
You know what would be nice? That titans could learn, kinda like amiibos, learning from when you’re piloting it, seeing what strategies work best against certain titans, and counter pilots. Titan sees, titan does.
One important thing to note is that another reason why Auto Scorch is so damn good, is that he actually has a smaller reload time than usual, so he can't put out a descent amount of damage.
It also has a secret ability in FD. If you leave your Titan on Auto Titan, it guarantees a decent support score, as well as your three teammates to get an increase in combat score, because they end up picking up your slack while you're busy wallrunning.
Ion enhanced auto missing laser shots? well that's funny cuz I got spawned sniped across the map by the same Ion that killed me with a laser shot 10 seconds earlier!!!
Tbh the enhanced auto titan simply is much more capable of taking out pilots but I do remember one time I was playing amped hard point and just camped the harpoint closest to us with an enhance auto legion and pilot sentry and it only went to pot when a piloted scorch came along and killed the legion and finally like 3 pilots killed me for camping there... We won the match because of it (It was the back line point)
They get exp for just being called in, so if you run it on auto and it gets blown up it will at least get some progress as you build and call it in a second time.
1:04 - The Basics 3:03 - What can Auto-Titans do? 4:17 - What can Enhanced Auto-Titans do? 5:40 - Ion (Decent) 6:30 - Scorch (Great) 7:32 - Northstar (Terrible) 7:50 - Tone (Bad) 8:32 - Ronin (Kinda Bad) 9:07 - Legion (Ok) 9:28 - Monarch (Ok) 10:04 - When is it good to play outside of your Titan?
Even though this video has been out for months, I thought it would be handy to note that Ronin is an extremely reliable escort in CTF. If you grab the flag and have your Ronin follow you, not only is it fast enough to keep up with you, but his Leadwall and Melee on Auto-Titan are also extremely effective at close range on enemy pilots. It's a handy strategy when you need to take matters into your own hands and need some extra insurance when carrying the flag back to your base. That's pretty much the only time I will step out of my Titan and roam independently.
Spencer Genovese I got burned by an auto scorch shield whilst trying to rodeo it. I was camouflaged, it hadn’t seen me before and it wasn’t enhanced. Plus I was behind it and it turned just to burn me
@Taelin Cusic King's comment serves no purpose but to make people happy, grow up and quit being a dick for no good reason. Also it's been 2 years, he shut up a while ago lmao.
The real problem with guard mode is that if you get a titan in an actual good place to use it, they will stumble and dodge with the animations they have while you're not in them and move, but then they'll stay where they've stumbled/dodged.
Bit of an unpopular opinion, but I will disembark from my titan in frontier defence if there is a mortar titan or a squad of mortar spectres to traverse the map quickly and minimise the damage done to the harvester. Exception to this is if I'm running a stryder-class titan or if I'm close to the mortars already. Otherwise I tend to hang back near the harvester. Anyway, great video!
But you do way more damage as titan , and the roamer in your team should be killing the mortar titans anyway. for mortar spectres , just jump out, throw a smoke nade, then jump back in. no point running auto titan
@Taelin Cusic I think you just suck at aiming. I get no scoped by people using the wingman elite all the time. What you're using is probably just the normal wingman which does kinda suck
The Auto Titan melee against pilots tends to produce a rather humorous effect. When melee-killed by an Auto Titan, it tends to send the pilot's body flying high into the air.
One thing about the guard mode: I've noticed that auto titans in follow mode are much less aggressive as they prioritize getting closer to you instead of shooting the enemies, so switching to guard mode might be better for a fight. If the titan is engaging enemies, it will infact move around for evasion even in guard mode. Unless it's Legion, Legion just kind of never moves anywhere. Also, I am not sure if it's intended behavior, but I've noticed that auto titans stepping on Stalkers will not make them explode.
Everyone in capture the flag: Nooooo you cant just snipe us across the map every 10 seconds The Enhanced ion who hasn't lost his overshield yet: haha shoulder laser go *ZAP*
I understand from a balance perspective why auto-titans are so limited, but I really wish it was more viable to play outside your titan at times. Especially on frontier defense. Getting some frags in a titan, before hopping out and mounting an enemy titan to steal a battery while your titan attacks it feels amazing, in the extremely rare situations where it works
In Frontier Defense, the enemy Titans seem to be able to terminate the Players' Auto Titans if they're doomed, but it's quite rare to see happen. I have seen it though, a couple of times.
another (very risky, although less so on frontier defense) use of guard mode is to park your titan somewhere relatively safe, while trying to get a battery for it and put it more in condition to fight isnstead of attacking with a titan that will get doomed at the first sign of scratch damage
I use the assault chip on my Scorch titan. AND GUESS WHAT! ITS AWESOME! I saw it “snap shot” a fast moving pilot as if it was an ant being hit with an electric swatter. No abilities needed to get half of the kills in a match (pilot wise). Main gun + snap shot = killing spree for me. And enhanced auto titan Scorch for me worked better than every other enhanced titan out there.
I know on a certain frontier defense base map (Forward base kodai) and another one (I forgot the name), if you reach the highest peak if the map, (not the middle huge tower, the antenna area to the side) and have a auto titan on follow mode, the auto titan will just free roam and do it's own thing own the map. This is really good of you want to practice sniper shots or just archer spam up there for some easy level up points.
Really was surprised by scorch's own independence. I left him by himself and he completely carried the entire team. -entry from an attrition only scrub.
CHAPTER 8 “Right. Archie, you, Lewis and C-T go get some fire wood. Satellite, Shadow and I’ll set up this shelter,” “You got it boss,” Lewis chirped. C-T held her hand out and Lewis and Archie jumped on. “If we are not back by eighteen hundred hours, we could be in danger. We should return by then,” C-T chirped. “See ya. Right, Shadow, I’ll need some help with those trees. Sat, can you start building out the cave?” “Yes. I’m sorry that I got the co-ordinates wrong.” “Don’t worry about it. We all make mistakes. It’s what makes us human,” Echo replied. Satellite looked confused. “But pilot, I am not a human. I am composed of metal and wire. I should not be making mistakes. I must be damaged,” “I don’t think so. Maybe you just got it wrong. Just because you are made of metal, doesn’t mean you can’t make mistakes. Like I said, we all do,” Echo explained. “Maybe,” Satellite said. Echo looked over at her. He thought about what he has said about P-A. He looked back at Satellite. “Hey Shadow, could you just grab some wood from that forest? We could use a bit more for the shelter,” he called. Shadow looked over. “Sure,” He said, before walking into the forest. “Thanks bud,” Echo said. He waited until Shadow had disappeared from his sight. “Satellite. Are you ok?” he asked. “My critical systems are functioning fine. Why?” she asked. “No, don’t give me a titan answer. Don’t tell me about your systems. Are YOU ok. Is Satellite alright? Are you feeling sad?” Satellite looked up at Echo. “You didn’t ask Shadow to leave because we needed wood did you?” she asked. “No. I didn’t,” “I…I…I’m feeling…sad?” she stuttered. Echo sigh. “How long have you been linked to Lewis?” “13 days,” Echo looked surprised. “Is that all? That’s hardly any time at all. No wonder you feel bad,” “I feel bad?” Satellite asked. Echo shook his head. “Titans need time to learn about their pilots. To understand their pilots. To bond with their pilots. Two weeks is not enough time for that. How many missions you had?” “This is my second mission.” Echo was surprised that Satellite had only had one mission before. Satellite put another branch onto the shelter, but it slid off, taking three other branches with it. She took a step back. Echo could see that she wasn’t right. Normal titans wouldn’t do that. They would keep trying until they were able to succeed. Satellite was different. Echo could see that. She was like C-T and Shadow. “Sat, c’mon. Sit down,” he said. Echo patted the giant log he was sitting on. Satellite walked over. She sat down on the log. “You see that set of stars up there?” Echo asked. “Yes. It’s the Gemini constellation,” she said. “That’s my constellation. You got one?” “I don’t believe so,” she replied. Echo tapped her arm. “Shoulder?” he asked. Satellite held her hand out. Echo stepped on. She raised her hand. Echo sat on her shoulder. “You see that clump of cloud over there. Different colours?” he asked, pointing to the night sky. “The Lagoon nebula,” she said. “Yea. Yeah that’s the one. I often look up at night and see it. Wish I could see it on Earth. I’ve always wondered what’s up there. Inside the nebula,” “The lagoon nebula is comprised of hydrogen, helium and other gases. It is the birthplace of stars,” “Like you?” Echo said. Satellite looked confused. “I am not made of stars,” she said. Echo chuckled. “The lagoon nebula is actually red. The atmosphere of Misrin makes it look like it has a rainbow of colours,” “Didn’t know that,” Echo said. “It’s good to have you on the team Sat,” “I’m here to stay,” she said. Echo petted her shoulder. Her eye lit up.
CHAPTER 4 “Alright pilots listen up! You’re mission is simple. Help those troopers. You’ll have ten minutes to eliminate all hostiles, and clear an LZ before we pick you up again. And we’re not waiting. If that LZ’s not clear, you’re not going home. Alright pilots! Arm up we’re dropping in 45 seconds!” Sergeant Alesh shouted, over the roar of the dropship’s engines. The crow flew over an IMC building. This was Lewis’s first mission with the rest of fireteam Phoenix. The group flew closer to the battle. “Dropping in 15 seconds!” Alesh shouted. Archie readied his Spitfire. Echo cycled the bolt on his Kraber. Lewis took out his CAR SMG. “5 seconds! 4…3…2…1…NOW! Go, go, go!” Alesh roared. He pulled a lever on the roof of the crow, and the loading door opened. “Good luck pilots!” Alesh said, before pushing them out the crow. There was another pilot accompanying them. He wasn’t a part of Phoenix though. The four of them hit the ground hard, but their jump kits saved them from severe injury. They raised their weapons and opened fire. The IMC soldiers stopped in their tracks. “Command! Command! 10-34! We’ve got 4 hostile pilots! Repeat! 4 hostile pilots just dropped in! We need reinforcements! We’ll be slaughtered!” one of them said. “Roger that, we’ll send in reapers, standby,” the IMC command said. “Archie, hostiles to you right!” Lewis called. Archie spun around, firing his spitfire with one hand, and pulled his Hammond pistol out with his other. He mowed down a squad of grunts taking cover behind some sandbags. “Echo! Need help!” the other pilot called. Echo looked over at his teammate, only to see him being pummelled by spectres. “Hang on!” he called. He pulled his B3 wingman out, and started firing at the spectres. One of them dropped to the ground. Echo grabbed one of the spectre’s heads, and flung it around, breaking the circuits, and disabling it. The other pilot kicked one away, and Echo slammed its head into a wall. Sparks flew from it. One of the spectres went to punch Echo, but he caught it. He pulled the robot’s fist back, then quickly pushed it forwards to the ground. The rest of the spectre followed, and it crashed into the ground. Echo unloaded 3 rounds into it, destroying it. The other pilot kicked the last spectre in the head, then grabbed its arms, and ripped them off. He grabbed his data knife and stabbed the robot twice in its chest, then raised his hand, and brought the knife down on the back of the spectre’s head. The lifeless robot fell to the ground. A puff of smoke erupted from its head. “Nice moves pilot,” Echo said, impressed. “Thanks for the help pilot. Saved my life,” “Don’t mention it. Let’s crack some more skulls.” the militia squad were taking cover behind some sandbags. One of the soldiers waved to Lewis. “Hey! Pilot! Get your ass out of the open!” he called. Lewis ran towards cover, but just before he could get there, ‘BAM!’ an object smashed into the ground in front of him. Several more of the robots flew to the ground around the squad. Their landings kicked up a giant cloud of dust. “Reapers!” Archie warned. He dived to the side, as a reaper swung its giant arm. Seven reapers surrounded the squad, as they slowly back to the sandbags. “Oi! Soldiers, you got any anti titan weapons? Archer, thunderbolt, anything?!” Echo shouted. One of the militia soldiers pulled out a strange looking weapon. It looked like a sniper rifle without a scope. “Sorry pilot, no AT weapons, but we got a cold war!” “It’ll do,” Archie said, grabbing the weapon. He held the trigger down and aimed it at one of the reapers. The weapon charged up, then unleashed a fury of plasma bolts onto the target. It didn’t destroy the reaper, but it crippled it. Lewis laid down fire on the reaper, riddling it with bullets. The reaper collapsed on the ground, before exploding. “I’m calling in Satellite, there’s too many reapers!” Lewis shouted. “We’ll keep you covered!” Echo shouted. Lewis ran to the side of the battlefield, and tapped his tacpad. “Hello?” Said a female voice on the other end. “Andrith, need Satellite, we got reapers down here!” Lewis shouted over the roar of the battle. “Rodger that, she’s coming down now, standby for Titanfall,” Lewis looked to the sky and saw Satellite streak in. She kicked her thrusters and softly hit the ground. “Nice landing Satellite, need your help,” Lewis said. “Good to see you to pilot. Let’s go, my dome shield won’t last forever,” “Right,” Lewis said. Satellite held her hand out, and Lewis hopped on. She pulled her hand closer to her cockpit, and Lewis climbed in. “My systems are yours pilot. We are stronger united,” Satellite chirped. She picked up her railgun and charger into battle. “Oh hell yea! The cavalry has arrived!” one of the soldiers called out. “Satellite, good to see you down here. We could use your help!” Archie called. Satellite waved with two fingers. Suddenly, Echo spotted one of the reapers running for the squad. “Soldiers! Get outta there! REAPER!” he shouted. But it was no use. The reaper jumped up, and smashed into the ground, sending a shockwave, that knocked the troopers to the ground. The reaper stomped on those who were closer, sending blood flying everywhere. The reaper turned around, and unloaded a hail of plasma slugs onto one of the soldiers. The reaper ran up and was just about to stomp on the last trooper, when Satellite came to the rescue. “Satellite, disembark!” Satellite opened up her hatch, and Lewis jumped out. He landed right next to the reaper, but he knew what he was doing. He gave a hand signal to Satellite, who nodded. She took care of the reaper, whilst Lewis tended to the wounded trooper. “Guys! Five mins to extract!” The other pilot said. “Just hold ‘em off a little longer!” Archie shouted, unloading rounds into enemy spectres. Suddenly, “AAAA!” Echo and Archie turned around. The other pilot had been shot in the leg. “Fencer!” Echo cried. “Archie, hold these guys of while I help him!” Archie nodded. This was no longer an easy rescue mission. This was hold of against a small army mission. Echo ran to his fallen teammate. He grabbed his first aid kit, and pulled out a bandage. Suddenly, CRACK! Blood sprayed all over Echo’s visor. Fencer had a bullet right through his heart. He was dead. “NO!” Echo shouted. “Archie! Pilot down! Pilot down!” Archie turned around. But then he heard a loud noise. He looked back. “Shit.”
CHAPTERS 1 AND 2 “Alright everyone, ready up. Here they come!” whispered Lieutenant Chris. Everyone held their weapons up. They crouched behind a makeshift barricade, forged from scrap metal and sand bags. There were turrets place in the gaps of the wall. Fingers on triggers, eyes down sights. The Militia squad were waiting for them. Anticipating their movement. They were ready to strike first. There was silence. Even the giant titans that were crouched next to the grunts and pilots made no noise. “CRACK!” a gunshot sounded. A vapour trail formed. And in the distance, a body dropped. The sniper pulled the bolt back on his rifle, then pushed it forward, cycling the next lethal bullet. He aimed down the sights of his Kraber. Waiting for the next target. When nothing entered the pilot’s view, he lowered his weapon. “C-T. Run a scan. There’s more than one pilot there,” a stern voice commanded. The voice belonged to sergeant Alesh. He was the leader of this squad. A master pilot. A one man army. “Roger that. Linking visuals to your HUDs now. Standby for input feed,” C-T said. The Northstar class titan ran a thermal optics scan. She could see every enemy there. And there was definitely more than just one pilot. “Alesh, do you copy?” C-T asked. The pilot nodded. “Affirmative. We’re in for one hell of a fight. Pilots. You copy?” he asked. All the other pilots in the squad nodded. “We read you C-T,” Ethan said. “Echo. C-T, keep watch. Make sure they don’t get the jump on us,” Alesh said. Echo nodded, and cycled the bolt on his Kraber. C-T charged her giant railgun. She took aim. Suddenly, the other titan, Shadow, picked something up on his radar. “Sergeant, I’m picking something up on my radar. It’s closing fast,” Alesh looked around. “Shadow where? I don’t see anything,” he said. “Pilot, I’m also receiving something on my radar, 600 meters and closing. Fast,” C-T said. Alesh turned around. “Alright! Ready you’re weapons! We’re shooting first!” he shouted. Suddenly, Shadow realised what the object was. He turned around and dived at C-T. Suddenly, a titan fell right on top of the Militia squad. Shadow just managed to push C-T out of the way. The titan fell right on Shadow’s leg. Luckily, all the Militia managed to get out of the way. Shadow wasn’t so lucky. His left leg was now a mangled piece of metal. “Shadow!” C-T exclaimed. Shadow tried to crawl forward, but the Tone was literally sitting on him. “Sergeant, get the rest of the men to bunker Bravo-3. We’ll hold them of as long as possible,” Shadow said. “Negative 364. You’re the payload, we’re not leaving you here,” “Sergeant, I’ll only slow you down,” “Titan that is an order. C-T get him up,” The sergeant and the rest on the Militia retreated for the bunker. C-T tried to pull Shadow to the Bunker. But a hissing sounded from the Tone. Then, its legs started to straighten. It slowly stood up. C-T took a step back, and readied her plasma railgun. The Tone’s eye lit up. It turned to face C-T. The Titan took aim, but C-T was ready. She dashed to the side, avoiding the Tone’s cannon fire. She dashed forward, and pierced the titan with her railgun. She flew up, and pinned the titan on the ground. She charged her railgun, and unloaded a round into the Titan. It’s Red eye slowly faded to black. C-T helped Shadow up, but the damage to his leg was significant. He was immobilized. “Shadow, can you walk?” she asked. “Negative. I’m immobilized. Take the payload, and get it ou-BAM!” a giant ball of fire flew out of Shadow’s cockpit. C-T turned around quickly, only to see the glowing orange point of another Northstar’s railgun. But just as the titan pulled the trigger, a loud buzz sounded, then the sky turned white. The titan in front of C-T disintegrated. All the ground and dead IMC infantry units disappeared. A giant door opened in the side of the white wall. Then, a female voice sounded. “Payload has been destroyed. Simulation over. All personnel, including titans must exit the simuladome.” “Corporal Archie, corporal Echo, C-T 7090 and X-Q 0364 report to the armoury ASAP for command debrief.” The PA system said. Echo looked over to his friend Archie, who was asleep on his bed. He slowly moved over to him, and shook his shoulder. “Hey bud, command needs to see us. Archie, C’mon,” he said softly. His friend shuddered. He opened his tired eyes and looked over at Echo. “What? What happened?” he asked puzzled. “Command wants to see us about somethin’ in the armoury,” Echo said. “Again? What do they want this time?” Archie joked. “Dunno, but we best get going,” Echo said. He handed Archie his blue helmet. Archie slid it over his head. His visor lit up. “Alright, let’s go,” he chimed. “Hey Shadow, can ya give us a lift?” Echo asked his titan. “Roger that pilot,” Shadow said. He held his hand out, and Echo grabbed one of his fingers. Shadow lifted Echo onto his shoulder. “Thanks bud,” Echo said. Archie looked over to his titan. “C-T, can I grab a ride?” He asked. “Copy that pilot,” she chirped. She held her hand out, and Archie jumped on. C-T raised her arm, hand serving as a chair for Archie. The four set off. Halfway there, a Monarch class titan trotted down the hall. She as carrying a rack of strange mechanical war robots. Echo looked confused. Suddenly, the rack of robots started to wobble. Echo could see the titan was having trouble with the heavy rack. Suddenly, she lost her grip, and the rack smashed into the floor. A loud bang echoed through the room. The titan took a step back, shocked by what happened. She turned around to see the four standing behind her. “Oh, sorry pilot. I’ll get these to the armoury ASAP,” the titan said. She bent down, and flipped the rack over. Echo looked confused. “Titan, what’s your name?” he asked. The titan spoke. “I am P-A 5236. My pilot was recently KIA. I am being transferred to another pilot, but the Militia is having troubles finding a new pilot for me,” Archie looked at the strange robots. “Hey P-A, I Didn’t know we had reapers,” he said. “The Militia have salvaged a few reapers from the battlefield, and found out how they work. Now, we can manufacture them, and maybe turn the war around,” P-A explained. “Since my pilot passed, I’ve been transferred to a work titan. It looks like I’ll have to stay like this,” she continued, sounding…almost … sad. “Hey P-A. c’mon. We’re heading to the armoury too,” C-T and Shadow walked over, and helped P-A collect all the reapers. Then, as C-T went to pick one up, its arm sparked, then fell off. It dangled by the reaper from a few wires. “Oh. This one’s arm broke,” she said. “It’s fine. The mechanics should be able to fix it,” P-A said. Shadow loaded the last reaper onto the rack. Then a couple of troopers trotted down the hall. “Oi! Titan! What the hell’s going on here! You were supposed to get these to the armoury!” one of the troopers growled. ‘Of course, my apologies sir. I’ll get these to the armoury ASAP,” P-A said. “You better, or I’ll be reporting you to command,” the soldier scolded. Echo looked over at the trooper. “Hey mate, give it a rest, she’s doing her job, no need to rush her,” the trooper looked confused. “It’s just a machine pilot. I could call it a piece of shit, and it would still do its job.” The trooper remarked. Echo chuckled. “See that’s where you’re wrong soldier. They may be made of metal, but that don’t mean they ain’t got a heart,” he said happily, looking at Shadow. His eye lit up, to show his gratitude. The pair of troopers continued on their way. “See that’s why I don’t want to be a pilot. Makes you crazy,” The trooper whispered to his friend. The other trooper chuckled, and waved to Echo. “On your way pilot,” he said. Echo nodded and smiled. P-A spoke up. “Do you really think I have a heart pilot?” she asked. “Well you’re not saying that you’re made of metal and that you can’t have one, so I think you’re on the right track,” Archie said. “Took the words right outta my mouth Archie,” Echo exclaimed. “Thank you pilots.” P-A chirped. Echo smiled through his helmet. “Ahh, don’t mention it pal. Right, let’s get these reapers to the armoury!”
I was running a auto-scorch and hopped to the side, than I saw a auto ion, the two fought and I cloaked to search for the pilot, than I gave up and watched, suddenly I look beside me and see a enemy pilot, we just stared at each other, and realized we were the ones piloting the two, than we just looked back and watched.
Geoff Nienhuis northstar requires too much accuracy for auto Titans the reason auto scorch is so good is the ai has more of chance to hit something due to the launcher projectile size
Been an Auto titan main since launch. Absolutely addicting with the turrets. Super easy to distract players with, so many free kills on people rodeoing or going after me forgetting the titan.
Titan genders Ion:Girl Scorch:Boy Northstar:Girl Ronin:Boy Tone:Optional(I've heard people call it a girl, and some people call it a boy) Legion:RUSSIAN MAN Monarch:Boy (AKA B.T)
Enhanced Auto Ion is so good for CTF. Paired it with holo and ticks tonight, had a few moments where enemies were faced with all of those distractions. She also got some cheeky flag carrier kills.
I haven't gone past Normal on FD but I've only ever embarked a titan to give it a battery. ...that said, I've usually run a dedicated anti-titan kit as my pilot & played rapid-response and medic. Probably not the most effective strategy, but my fellow pilots seem to appreciate the batteries.
I use my Aegis rank 9 scorch auto Titan on frontier defence hard and he does a very decent job at defence, though still it’s better when I stay inside as it’s so much easier to die when you’re out of your titan
I often put my Legion in front of the harvester and it does a lot of damage to titans, but I only play in normal. My strategy is to use amped LGM to destroy titans and then my titan destroys the little amount of healt remaining. I don't do this in every match because some maps are far worse for auto titans: some maps tough literally have corridors so the titan obliterates anything that comes close
I feel that enchanted auto-Titan should be a type of titanfall kit. Call in an enhanced auto Titan that takes as long as a drop shield but unprotected like warp fall.
I think a pilot kit that directly interacted with the autotitan would be a cool ability to have so that you can Target objectives for your Titan and attack them together or send him after pilots while you go off to the rodeo.
7:36 "she's bad" I figured that one out really quickly when I tried to use her on auto for hardpoint Exoplanet. I would capture a point and come out to find her dead/dying with no indication she had ever hit what was attacking her.
The problem with auto titans are their weak spot. I tried using shockwave behind an auto titan. And he literaly break dance. Like doing a spider walk. They flinched when hits.
Enemy titans in frontier defence can actually terminate/execute your auto Titan before it hits doomed state. And in the campaign titans can execute each other if they have 2500 health or under, but you can’t execute them and they can’t execute you
I have noticed that autotitans seem to take protocol 3 seriously in game. Whenever I'm attacked and my titan is nearby or I do vice versa with someone else their titan targets me with pretty decent accuracy. Including very quick snapshots from scorches. My scorchyboi does the same. It also seems like they move faster then when your pilot them when their walking towards you. As my scorch is able to keep up decently even though it's an other chassis.
In Attrition, I almost never control my Titan. Instead I try to work with my Titan in a way. As you said, use the Titan as a distraction while I take out enemy Pilots and pepper enemy Titans. I keep it stocked up on batteries as much as possible. Scorch works really well for this play style
in amped hardoint where A, B and C is not reachable for a Titan (e.g. EDEN) i always get my Titan and set him to Auto. the only real reason to use Auto titans
Thanks, now I’m Auto-Scorch 4 Life! (I run Stim + Softball, so I feel forced into my titan if I have to get in due to death, raging teammates, or needing more friendly titans.)
I use guard mode to make my titan stay in one spot in cover while i go and steal a battery for it. It works. Plus its kinda fun. So thats a great reason for guard mode.
Happened earlier today. Not long after calling it in, I hopped out of my titan to get one pilot kill, after killing the pilot I turn around and the auto titan has wandered half the map away and is getting melted by a scorch. This is why I don't hop out of my titan.
Northstar is definitely similar to this! With Explosive Traps and Trap Mastery, as well as Twin Cluster, Northstar is almost a force to be reckoned with. I should know because *I am a Northstar main, Aegis Rank 11...*
I've found that one of the more effective uses of auto-titan is to follow around other friendly Titans and support them. The auto-titan provides good supporting fire and you're freed up to watch for enemy pilots or rodeo any enemy Titans that get too close.
I really don't know what Auto Northstar is up to. I'll never forget the day an Auto Northstar 360 noscoped me with the rail gun.
She was applying for faze of course
Literally because auto titans spin and maneuver
Omg lol
I actually cried when that happened to me. I was on a 32 kill streak with a mastiff, zero deaths all game, 34 seconds left in the match and then BAM!
Me when I realize I ain’t the only one:
H m
"Use the Auto-Titan as a distraction"
I AIN'T GONNA LET MY BABY BOY DIE ALL ALONE
Commander Convoy
I WON’T DO SUCH A CRUEL THING TO FIRE CHILD
That's why I die with it
It hurts my heart any time I auto eject or cry when I nuke eject
In the beginning of the single player, when we were told about a unique pilot-titan bond we were like “Yeah, bullshit.”
And now titans are our children
Every time one of my Titans die I give it a new name... The thing is I don't like giving it new names so good luck killing my Ronny boy
Have you ever been 360 noscoped by a auto Northstar???
I have.
Dave Dave I have
I have
I have 360 noscoped as a northstar
Dave Dave me too it was like surprise and did super fast 360 and got a head shot
Dave Dave I have, I just ejected from Titan and was at max altitude and BOOM noscope from the auto northstar

Scorch can goose you out of the air from across the map just to spite you
My boy Scorch is a beast and I use him 24/7. And it amazes me that I have never thought if using auto mode.
The real problem with guard mode is that if you get a titan in an actual good place to use it, they will stumble and dodge with the animations they have while you're not in them and move, but then they'll stay where they've stumbled/dodged.
I always use Auto-Titan with Scorch. He is amazing. I always try to stay close to him but leave every once in a while and be still gets many kills.
I've seen pilots get goosed by an Auto-Titan Scorch. Damn scary if you ask me.

*stormtroopers portrayed by auto titan*
Bit of an unpopular opinion, but I will disembark from my titan in frontier defence if there is a mortar titan or a squad of mortar spectres to traverse the map quickly and minimise the damage done to the harvester. Exception to this is if I'm running a stryder-class titan or if I'm close to the mortars already. Otherwise I tend to hang back near the harvester.
Anyway, great video!
It's fine to get out for a specific purpose, it's those teammates that spend every wave entirely on foot that begin to create problems. - Ascendance

@@cooperlittlehales6268 “skill issue”
The Auto Titan melee against pilots tends to produce a rather humorous effect. When melee-killed by an Auto Titan, it tends to send the pilot's body flying high into the air.
For the auto-titan, I’m pretty sure that the more damage you deal to it, the more accurate it will get.
Auto Titans definitely trigger Stalker explosions on step. I watched my doomed AT walk into a Stalker pod and kill itself lmao

Auto titans can also jump on enemies
I know on a certain frontier defense base map (Forward base kodai) and another one (I forgot the name), if you reach the highest peak if the map, (not the middle huge tower, the antenna area to the side) and have a auto titan on follow mode, the auto titan will just free roam and do it's own thing own the map. This is really good of you want to practice sniper shots or just archer spam up there for some easy level up points.
Honestly i am adding this to a mode in my titanfall fangame, "Patrol Mode Activated"
Really was surprised by scorch's own independence. I left him by himself and he completely carried the entire team.

CHAPTER 8
“Right. Archie, you, Lewis and C-T go get some fire wood. Satellite, Shadow and I’ll set up this shelter,”
“You got it boss,” Lewis chirped. C-T held her hand out and Lewis and Archie jumped on. “If we are not back by eighteen hundred hours, we could be in danger. We should return by then,” C-T chirped.
“See ya. Right, Shadow, I’ll need some help with those trees. Sat, can you start building out the cave?”
“Yes. I’m sorry that I got the co-ordinates wrong.”
“Don’t worry about it. We all make mistakes. It’s what makes us human,” Echo replied. Satellite looked confused. “But pilot, I am not a human. I am composed of metal and wire. I should not be making mistakes. I must be damaged,”
“I don’t think so.
“No. I didn’t,”
“I…I…I’m feeling…sad?” she stuttered.
Echo sigh. “How long have you been linked to Lewis?”
“13 days,”
Echo looked surprised. “Is that all? That’s hardly any time at all. No wonder you feel bad,”
“I feel bad?” Satellite asked. Echo shook his head. “Titans need time to learn about their pilots. To understand their pilots. To bond with their pilots. Two weeks is not enough time for that. How many missions you had?”
“This is my second mission.” Echo was surprised that Satellite had only had one mission before.
You got one?”
“I don’t believe so,” she replied.
Inside the nebula,”
“The lagoon nebula is comprised of hydrogen, helium and other gases. It is the birthplace of stars,”
“Like you?” Echo said. Satellite looked confused. “I am not made of stars,” she said. Echo chuckled. “The lagoon nebula is actually red. The atmosphere of Misrin makes it look like it has a rainbow of colours,”
“Didn’t know that,” Echo said. “It’s good to have you on the team Sat,”
“I’m here to stay,” she said. Echo petted her shoulder. Her eye lit up.
CHAPTER 4
“Alright pilots listen up!
Saved my life,”
“Don’t mention it. “Sorry pilot, no AT weapons, but we got a cold war!”
“It’ll do,” Archie said, grabbing the weapon.
Let’s go, my dome shield won’t last forever,”
“Right,” Lewis said.
“Shit.”

CHAPTERS 1 AND 2
“Alright everyone, ready up.
You’re the payload, we’re not leaving you here,”
“Sergeant, I’ll only slow you down,”
“Titan that is an order. C-T get him up,”
The sergeant and the rest on the Militia retreated for the bunker.
All personnel, including titans must exit the simuladome.”
“Corporal Archie, corporal Echo, C-T 7090 and X-Q 0364 report to the armoury ASAP for command debrief.” The PA system said.
I only use the enhanced chip on Northstar. I was surprised to hear about your conclusion that Northstar was the worst Auto Titan.
Geoff Nienhuis Northstar is my best but I'd have to agree with 4fs
Geoff Nienhuis northstar requires too much accuracy for auto Titans the reason auto scorch is so good is the ai has more of chance to hit something due to the launcher projectile size
My auto northstar 360 no scopes people
Scorch is actually really good
@@supermegadestroyerpoopmylo hes a meme but a good meme
Been an Auto titan main since launch. Absolutely addicting with the turrets. Super easy to distract players with, so many free kills on people rodeoing or going after me forgetting the titan.
Titan genders
Ion:Girl
Scorch:Boy
Northstar:Girl
Ronin:Boy
Tone:Optional(I've heard people call it a girl, and some people call it a boy)
Legion:RUSSIAN MAN
Monarch:Boy (AKA B.T)
Tone and Monarch are voiced by Jocelyn Blue and Catherine Taber respectively, they're both female.
Legion= LORD TACHANKA
“LMG, MOUNTED, AND LOADED”
DiD U jUsT aSSuMe GeNDerS
Bobthebagel helll 😂💀
Monarch and BT are different chassies
Enhanced Auto Ion is so good for CTF. Paired it with holo and ticks tonight, had a few moments where enemies were faced with all of those distractions. She also got some cheeky flag carrier kills.
An enhanced auto Scorch or Ion can work alright in easy or regular, but any other difficulty is a death wish
Spencer Genovese you talking about campaign? Lol
He is talking about frontier defence
Its just great in Frontier Defense.
*MVP, NO DEATHS THIS TIME, YOUR TITAN IS SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION*
I haven't gone past Normal on FD but I've only ever embarked a titan to give it a battery.
...that said, I've usually run a dedicated anti-titan kit as my pilot & played rapid-response and medic. Probably not the most effective strategy, but my fellow pilots seem to appreciate the batteries.
Legends of teammate
Always love hearing these. Something I've heard is that your autotitan will prioritize firing on targets that you have fired on.
Interesting, might have to check it out! - Ascendance
I do it all the time like on frontier defence i shoot at a nuke titan so it focuses on that
I use my Aegis rank 9 scorch auto Titan on frontier defence hard and he does a very decent job at defence, though still it’s better when I stay inside as it’s so much easier to die when you’re out of your titan
Hahaha man i hate it so much when pilots use autotitan in frontier defense i turn into the god damn ceo at the mortons salt factory.
B-but muh amped thunderbolt. D:
I do it a lot just to have more protection on the harvester, while I take my 8 nuke rodeos for a joyride.
PoisoningShadow671 *slaps* NO BUTS! WORK WITH IT,
When i first put my titan on gaurd mode, i thought it said "GOD MODE ACTIVATED"
I feel that enchanted auto-Titan should be a type of titanfall kit. Call in an enhanced auto Titan that takes as long as a drop shield but unprotected like warp fall.
I use an auto legion (enhanced) in frontier defence to protect the harvester
I run warpfall on my legion, you wanna no why, BECAUSE HE SURVIVED 3 NUKE TITANS EXPLODING IN HIS FACE
I think a pilot kit that directly interacted with the autotitan would be a cool ability to have so that you can Target objectives for your Titan and attack them together or send him after pilots while you go off to the rodeo.
Whenever I leave my titan on auto or let it drop alone in frontier defense, they lose so much hp against a single enemy titan
Whenever I enter a doomed state in frontier defense I let my Titan go auto and try to keep it alive till the end of the wave
I specifically use my titanfall as an anti titan weapon. If papa scorch catches some kills its all bonus lol
they all take the same amount of effort to call in, why not call in the most brickwall shaped one while at it?
7:36 "she's bad"
I figured that one out really quickly when I tried to use her on auto for hardpoint Exoplanet. I would capture a point and come out to find her dead/dying with no indication she had ever hit what was attacking her.
i must have the best luck when i come to auto-northstar cause her accuracy is gody... aka shoot a ejected pilot without a chip kind of godly.
a video on gamemode specific loadouts for those who are really trying to play the objective and win the match + dos and don'ts for each gamemode
h freeman do an L Star and the fully auto pistol
Accuracy might be different when the pilot is moving. Enhanced Auto-Titans almost never miss when I'm jumping around and wall-running.
I wonder if it tries to account for movement to it leads the shot a bit. Just a theory
I was on a zip line and a doomed auto northstar sniped me
Can't wait for that Cold War video
Ion, Scorch, or Monarch: here we go Frontier Defense MVP's!!!!
Piloted Ronin with sword core online in the last 2 rounds:are you sure about that?
Enchanced auto scorch is terrifying
The problem with auto titans are their weak spot. I tried using shockwave behind an auto titan. And he literaly break dance. Like doing a spider walk. They flinched when hits.
"Hello, this is Ascendance from Orifice Gaming"
10:24 in the killfeed it says antijackman, I know him in real life and he's my best friend. Small world
Enemy titans in frontier defence can actually terminate/execute your auto Titan before it hits doomed state.
My titan keeps smacking pilots out of the air
6:47 AIM BOT DAMN
The magic of auto titans
One time in frontier defence I got 360 no scoped by a ronin with his lead wall as soon as I turned a corner
In Attrition, I almost never control my Titan. Instead I try to work with my Titan in a way. As you said, use the Titan as a distraction while I take out enemy Pilots and pepper enemy Titans. I keep it stocked up on batteries as much as possible. Scorch works really well for this play style
Its kinda fun to have a legion in guard mode when you either escape or try to destroy it.

actually i find when you missing a player, leaving a titan as a distraction and deturrent helps.
Ive been 360'd out of the air after i ejected by a northstar on the other side of the map...
in amped hardoint where A, B and C is not reachable for a Titan (e.g. EDEN) i always get my Titan and set him to Auto. the only real reason to use Auto titans
I remember when you would just get a Stryker with Nuclear Eject and Auto Eject. You just have a walking nuclear bomb by your side, and it’s beautiful!
Holy shit for once auto captions are correct

Ion = aYane

Thanks, now I’m Auto-Scorch 4 Life!
(I run Stim + Softball, so I feel forced into my titan if I have to get in due to death, raging teammates, or needing more friendly titans.)
Wooooow auto titans had some pretty bad Accuracy 3 years ago. It’s a shame that an auto titan now could 360 no-scope a pilot while he’s in phase shift
I use guard mode to make my titan stay in one spot in cover while i go and steal a battery for it. It works. Plus its kinda fun. So thats a great reason for guard mode.
It's pretty sad to realize that the auto-titan is better than me
Myladdisdead I can relate
can relate... when talking about plasma drones. those things...
Well it is 2 tons of danger-steel
Happened earlier today.
Not long after calling it in, I hopped out of my titan to get one pilot kill, after killing the pilot I turn around and the auto titan has wandered half the map away and is getting melted by a scorch.
This is why I don't hop out of my titan.
Northstar is definitely similar to this! With Explosive Traps and Trap Mastery, as well as Twin Cluster, Northstar is almost a force to be reckoned with. I should know because *I am a Northstar main, Aegis Rank 11...*
Bro same here
Currently working at it, I spent way too much time getting full aegis monarch
I left an auto Northstar on the field and got an 14 pilot kill-streak and 3 titan kill streak
*plays auto titan on frontier defense*
Eww
Auto titans execute other auto titans in rare cases. I saw it in frontier defence, and a few in attrition.
Monarch has a female voice? Never took notice! wOW!
Rule 34 gonna have fun with that
I use Enhanced Auto Northstar and “SHE’S” actually really good
Didn't even realise that I'm in the vid at the end in the kill feed
The time is 10:24
I've found that one of the more effective uses of auto-titan is to follow around other friendly Titans and support them. The auto-titan provides good supporting fire and you're freed up to watch for enemy pilots or rodeo any enemy Titans that get too close.
