Thanks Doug! We've owned it for just gone a year now, and I don't think there's much we'd change about the layout. I think it's just over 16ft in length and makes really good use of the space. Still hanging onto the tents and bivis though! 😁
I have the lwb same top. has a full length wardrobe cope very well with storage. seats and beds excellent so comfy kept toilet. two single beds so can get out during the night
Hi Alan. I wouldn't mind the extra space of the LWB, but we're very limited on parking space so decided on a SWB. Can't beat the layout with the rear kitchen though can you? Works far better for us than a rock n roll bed type layout. Thanks for watching👍
Cheers. It's been great so far. They are pretty compact though, so you do need to be ok with that. The upside is that it is possible to use as your only vehicle. How are things with you? Managed to get out walking this week?
@@DesGreene Im great at the moment Des as i have 2 weeks off work [ one week left]...out tomorrow doing the 16.5 mile Penistone boundary walk...i will need a couple of beers to recover tomorrow night...might make a little video of the walk.
@@atrampinthehills.841 Been a while since I walked that far in one day. I bet those beers will go down a treat. I'll keep an eye out for the video mate.
We have a leisuredrive vivente but took the toilet out to provide more storage space, the one thing I don't like is the bed system it's a right pain. Just wondered your thoughts?
Hi, our toilet area sounds the same. It's a large cupboard and we store the portapotti in the lower half (much better use of space than the built in unit). The bed system is sctually one of the things I like most. A bit of a knack to sliding the base in/out but the benefit of having the central divide is great. In a rock n roll bed, every move and you wake your partner up 😁 What issues have you found? Thanks for watching, by the way! 😊👍
@@DesGreene ours is a LWB T5 with fiamma awning and bike rack, this is our 3rd van the second got stolen. It's more like fort Knox now with extra locks on all doors, tracker, thatcham steering lock, wheel locks and cut off switch. The layout is great apart from the bed system, we even spent £120 on the central bit so you can have a full double bed but it doesn't really work. The van layout is generally good but I find Leisuredrive hard work and wouldn't be going back for another van.
What a great van Des. Layout makes sense- looks really nice.

Cheers for that Des nice camper 👍
Thanks for having a look Will👍 Just coming up to a year that we've had it, and the layout still suits us. Quite decent space for a small van.

Great tour of your campervan.
It’s always good to get away.
West our dog just loves it, knows he’s going some where new to explore!

Nice. I am craving a campervan.
Yes, been on our wanted list for a while and the plan came together a couple of months back. Still keeping the tents though 😉

One further point, all out VW's (4) have all needed the engine management sorting at £800 s pop.
