The rose gardens must have smelled amazing, I loved the miniature village scenes, just my thing as I love making miniature houses. My favorite new Spider-Man is the one reading the paper, shows he’s keeping up with what’s happening in the world. Lego Spider-Man is still my favorite, there is so much history with the two of you, he is like a family member.😊

Today’s trip reminded me of the visit I made to Japan in 1993, which was a cultural exchange between my vocal quartet, and one from Japan. We learned ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) in a community center like the one you visited. And I always loved trying different drinks from the vending machines! So much fun, although occasionally you got one like Frisk! 😂 Thanks for the tour, Usui, and for sharing your Spider-Man friends with us! I hope Lego Spidey enjoys his new friends. You’d better be careful, though. You may need to pay for a bigger apartment soon, or put your bed up on stilts so you have more storage space! 😂

"I'm a night person" ... Yep, that's how I feel too and when I changed jobs and could no longer work late shifts 13 months ago .... I'm glad that I now work from home because then I don't have to get up until 7am when I start work at 7.40am, before I had to get up at 6am 😢😂 In my previous job I usually had late shifts starting at 4.15/4.30pm and that was a dream for me!!! I still haven't gotten used to the early hours 💀
this is amazing, the similar tiny apartments shown in NYC this size do not have a washer/dryer and do not have a bathroom or sink (they have to walk down the hall to share the bathroom with neighbors), and those apartments are about $600 USD per month. This apartment in Tokyo is a real deal since Tokyo is so much more clean, beautiful and safe than NYC. Love the apartment which is so bright with a big window.😁 I would live there, wish I spoke Japanese.
You have been looking at other micro-apartments and slowing them to us. Some of the apartments you looked at were really nice, but you never showed any intent to move out of your current micro-apartment. I wondered why -- until I saw in this video the monthly rent you are paying for you current micro-apartment. It is 390,000 yen (~ 245 USD) only! If you are comfortable living in less than 8 squared meters, that monthly rent is too attractive to give up. 😄 I hope you had a nice holiday. Thanks for sharing!

Not bad imho when I was a student I would much appreciate an apartment like that for cheap price, instead of living with a roommate. The only thing is that I have more clothes to hang so I would need more space. Now I wonder why usually dorms or other shared spaces are designed in a way that bathroom or kitchen is shared and a room has only desk and a closet? I would much prefer to have a shared locker room where I keep my stuff that I don’t use often and then have my kitchen and bathroom separate only for myself. You can always eat out or go to library, but sharing kitchen and bathroom the spaces thAt are too intimate is just a crazy concept for me
One of my rooms is almost the same size as your apartment, but the messy stuffs are 10 times more than what you have there. Really simply life you're living in, good for you.

I’ve bought a lot of capsule toys in Japan, but your Spiderman ensemble is the best! Also, the models with the bonsai are lovely. Nobody can top Japanese dioramas (especially those at the Edo Tokyo museum).
This apartment, although small, is perfectly acceptable. I would gladly pay that much for such a micro apartment, if any existed here. The cheapest apartments here are $1,000 USD and up.
Honestly more countries need smaller living spaces like this. These are often better than shared houses and simpler to deal with for young people. Would definitely have a fold up futon or bunk bed instead of a permanent on floor bed though.
Now you can do the bonsai "Spiderman 's life and habits". They are all beautiful but the two pizzaroli twins are my favourite, they go against the tide.
Given the height of the ceilings, this place could be so much more roomier and spacious, were it to have stairs, with built in drawers leading to a loft. Additionally, the bed could be a pull down (i forget the name), and the desk also could be a pill down.. so many ideas to maximize the space.

I miss traveling to Japan and able to go shopping in stores. In the US, theft and store robberies are so common that many stores closed. We are forced to buy almost everything online and never need to leave home these days.

That was a fun and interesting video of your day off. The bonsai displays were cool. The different types of toys in the capsule vending machines was interesting.
